xchange and Trendsmedia presented six Best of WiMAX 2008 awards to five distinguished recipients at ceremonies following the close of the first day’s sessions at the WiMAX World Conference & Expo held Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 in Chicago. The Best of WiMAX World Awards recognize leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies. Nominations were open to exhibitors, sponsors and speakers at the WiMAX World Conference & Expo. Winners and Industry Choice finalists were selected by a judging panel of experts from the WiMAX community.
