The OPM provides the primary operations interface between the ODM factories, development engineering, Marketing/Sales, and our Product Line Team (PLT) for new and existing products.
Responsibilities include:
- W1 }7 o+ H4 R9 v3 i. O4 R7 f/ w- Operations Owner/Leader of their product(s) – Prototype through End of Life
9 l- m/ @  t3 ^9 ~! X8 Y- Ensure all Operations Groups are fully engaged with new products. This includes manufacturing engineering, manufacturing test, factory management, logistics, materials, packaging, quality, finance and senior management
- Attend and Drive ECO meeting for their products
5 Y! j* Q! e) T9 a- Single Operations point of contact for Engineering, Firmware, Manufacturing Partners (ODM/JDM) and Sales
- `2 S# V( y: V6 U0 g- Provide communications; Customer Meetings, deep Dives, QBRs, and Launch planning with Customers
- @. |; ?. j9 n' X5 T, K- Monitor & Track KEY Program Metrics: Product cost, Yields –MFG Process, Field Performance, and Forecasts vs Actuals
- Operations Team meetings for New Products in Development: Host, Document, and assign action items
- Form Problem Action Teams as required to resolve specific issue
, q3 X; R  u/ P3 G- Generate and maintain operations planning documents for new programs
# m- ]6 A9 V% k' e-Work with Early Material Deployment (EMD) team during proto phase of products to ensure availability of critical pre-production units
- Generate & implement product launch & transition plans
, C' ~. M$ T+ z7 PRequirements/Qualifications (Education)
7 ~1 T% I8 T/ p8 j) p- Bachelor’s degree w/5 or more years work experience
- 5 or more years experience in NPI and/or production Project/Program Management. Proven ability to launch complex products in an outsourced environment  
/ I" g5 U7 ^2 G, R1 M) q3 U, b- 3-5 years work experience in one of the following: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Test, Materials, Factory Management
