3 w# L$ m  v- ^, p9 DIn our manufacturing division, we have a high visibility opening for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering Group in Taiwan.
9 D0 s  C6 _3 o6 \3 ?( KThe prime responsibilities of this position are:
- q& \/ h+ m9 Q, x+ c6 \0 l/ x: z6 w# ~4 d    • Direct and control the Manufacturing Engineering Group in Taiwan in accordance with the goals, objectives, and tasks defined by Corporate Engineering.
1 |& ^4 K0 j% v( A- j& y+ u" u: H    • Ensure consistent methods and a sound rigorous approach to all tasks.
- `* H- g! I0 e/ Q6 q. r( H6 k    • Mentor the engineering team in Taiwan.
    • Report status to the Parent company (Unites States).
    • Establish and maintain a strong presence to ensure that production quality measures are consistent with and enforce engineering product requirements.
    • Lead effort to work with suppliers to improve quality and lower costs.
    • Improve the efficiency of all our asia engineering processes, including

Specific qualifications
    • Reasonable proficiency in English is required for this position.
% F, M, V' @, w$ f    • 8+ years of industry experience as a mechanical or manufacturing engineer.
: J  b& X5 _: c  v! H$ ^# E    • 3+ years of engineering management experience.
! y2 G  ^2 m" Y) \5 M; ~9 u! _1 ~- p    • Experience in low to mid-volume manufacturing.
; N4 {1 {4 |% N/ g% U    • A creative approach to solving manufacturing challenges in a cost-effective way.
8 \3 N: M  W5 G3 l" r$ p5 W# `- S    • BS degree or higher in Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering.
2 z$ y6 j, m* `8 k    • 5 years or more direct experience in the development and implementation of efficient, tightly controlled production processes needed in the production of our products:
        ◦ Strong working knowledge in metal fabrication processes
' z, U' I3 S; I0 [            ▪ Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, forming, diecasting is required.
            ▪ Brazing and soldering process knowledge (including cleaning) is a strong plus.
            ▪ Experience with thermal products (heat sinks, heat pipes, and vapor chambers) or vacuum products is a strong plus.
+ _7 Q& w/ N4 Z; W1 x2 y        ◦ Provide useful manufacturing guidelines to the USA engineering
( {$ `6 D0 V# o1 `' S; u    • Understanding of ISO-9001 or equivalent quality management system.
$ B6 o1 o, x6 o  z' k6 l7 N" \3 @        ◦ Will work with Our's Asia’s QA manager to work with 3rd party suppliers to achieve quality products.
( ~6 `4 d' t/ z    • Understanding of Statistical Process Control methods and production testing is a plus.
( y7 M0 ^! B# `    • A data-based approach to troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

What you will do in this role
    • Act as the representative of the Engineering to plan, implement, and direct activities in Taiwan that support the objectives defined by the Corporate Director of Engineering.
    • Lead the effort to continually improve our's supply chain.
    • Use your directly applicable experience to guide the development of cost-effective and reliable manufacturing processes for Our products.
    • Create an engineering environment that relies on the repeatable application of process – not tribal knowledge or seat-of-the-pants methodology – to produce the industry’s best and most consistent vapor chambers, heat pipe-based products, heat sinks, cold plates, and closed-loop liquid cooling products.
, |/ A; A: u9 B; N0 `    • Evaluate, justify, and recommend capital equipment necessary for production and test.
    • Implement appropriate metrics and Statistical Process Control methods to evaluate and monitor the production line.
