The OPM provides the primary operations interface between the ODM factories, development engineering, Marketing/Sales, and our Product Line Team (PLT) for new and existing products.
- C  q8 ~' O$ k" h2 ~. }Responsibilities include:
- Operations Owner/Leader of their product(s) – Prototype through End of Life
; ^3 }9 a; g1 X! Y. G5 t" D0 @- Ensure all Operations Groups are fully engaged with new products. This includes manufacturing engineering, manufacturing test, factory management, logistics, materials, packaging, quality, finance and senior management
! S4 l+ K% z1 ~* w- Attend and Drive ECO meeting for their products
5 i. D) q, D' \/ @, {. `' Y- Single Operations point of contact for Engineering, Firmware, Manufacturing Partners (ODM/JDM) and Sales
8 p: y$ b- b* P3 F* S' Z- Provide communications; Customer Meetings, deep Dives, QBRs, and Launch planning with Customers
- Monitor & Track KEY Program Metrics: Product cost, Yields –MFG Process, Field Performance, and Forecasts vs Actuals
- Operations Team meetings for New Products in Development: Host, Document, and assign action items
- Form Problem Action Teams as required to resolve specific issue
- Generate and maintain operations planning documents for new programs
-Work with Early Material Deployment (EMD) team during proto phase of products to ensure availability of critical pre-production units
- Generate & implement product launch & transition plans
Requirements/Qualifications (Education)
- Bachelor’s degree w/5 or more years work experience
- 5 or more years experience in NPI and/or production Project/Program Management. Proven ability to launch complex products in an outsourced environment  
- 3-5 years work experience in one of the following: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Test, Materials, Factory Management
