These Helmholtz microcoils demonstrate superior NMR
6 _4 q% e( ?4 u$ Mperformance regarding spin excitation uniformity compared6 t& {! k, I C8 c+ Z, Q
to planar microcoils. The improved spin excitation1 L3 W( r) P9 k7 O8 F' ~7 G) N w* r
uniformity opens the way to advanced chemical analysis) j* v/ ~- P" s: Y
using complex RF-pulse sequences.
9 n+ v/ Q! w8 OThe fabricated Helmholtz coils have Q-factor greater than' f) e, Q5 V/ Y9 [/ w; {3 l( s
20 due to electroplated coil turns and vias, which connect the
