1 {" n/ o% l; `6 ]! _The OPM provides the primary operations interface between the ODM factories, development engineering, Marketing/Sales, and our Product Line Team (PLT) for new and existing products.
Responsibilities include:
- Operations Owner/Leader of their product(s) – Prototype through End of Life
- Ensure all Operations Groups are fully engaged with new products. This includes manufacturing engineering, manufacturing test, factory management, logistics, materials, packaging, quality, finance and senior management
- Attend and Drive ECO meeting for their products
- Single Operations point of contact for Engineering, Firmware, Manufacturing Partners (ODM/JDM) and Sales
1 ~1 ?& P9 ~7 q5 J- Provide communications; Customer Meetings, deep Dives, QBRs, and Launch planning with Customers
+ g2 [4 t, E. r& q% V4 ~) S2 ^- Monitor & Track KEY Program Metrics: Product cost, Yields –MFG Process, Field Performance, and Forecasts vs Actuals
- Operations Team meetings for New Products in Development: Host, Document, and assign action items
( c9 Z5 V" v& a' W2 n- Form Problem Action Teams as required to resolve specific issue
- Generate and maintain operations planning documents for new programs
-Work with Early Material Deployment (EMD) team during proto phase of products to ensure availability of critical pre-production units
- Generate & implement product launch & transition plans
Requirements/Qualifications (Education)
7 i1 t/ ]! h$ L. X0 Z5 o% u/ f- Bachelor’s degree w/5 or more years work experience
- 5 or more years experience in NPI and/or production Project/Program Management. Proven ability to launch complex products in an outsourced environment  
1 C' `8 V) L( w9 e: |- 3-5 years work experience in one of the following: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Test, Materials, Factory Management
