' F( v7 Q4 g2 O* b6 c/ v( NIn our manufacturing division, we have a high visibility opening for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering Group in Taiwan.
% O' v! c) U- }; a- tThe prime responsibilities of this position are:
    • Direct and control the Manufacturing Engineering Group in Taiwan in accordance with the goals, objectives, and tasks defined by Corporate Engineering.
    • Ensure consistent methods and a sound rigorous approach to all tasks.

% \3 v. V; B; _- M2 ~    • Reasonable proficiency in English is required for this position.
    • 8+ years of industry experience as a mechanical or manufacturing engineer.
! ]- C! w( g! w( {    • 3+ years of engineering management experience.
+ v: X4 O3 W! h' \" L# L' i" A& O    • Experience in low to mid-volume manufacturing.
/ }- o7 _7 u! P. z    • A creative approach to solving manufacturing challenges in a cost-effective way.
    • BS degree or higher in Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering.
& q1 P# Q5 D7 r( }2 q    • 5 years or more direct experience in the development and implementation of efficient, tightly controlled production processes needed in the production of our products:
        ◦ Strong working knowledge in metal fabrication processes
2 A  |& z' F! t( ~" \- M9 S            ▪ Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, forming, diecasting is required.
            ▪ Brazing and soldering process knowledge (including cleaning) is a strong plus.
& G( e9 Y( s* X2 m8 k  y3 i) J( R            ▪ Experience with thermal products (heat sinks, heat pipes, and vapor chambers) or vacuum products is a strong plus.
        ◦ Provide useful manufacturing guidelines to the USA engineering
( ]; D7 T. L2 c* w% n    • Understanding of ISO-9001 or equivalent quality management system.
& s4 T. U, e& g3 t& \3 B6 w        ◦ Will work with Our's Asia’s QA manager to work with 3rd party suppliers to achieve quality products.
' [+ ?, I# e! D0 F9 p- Z    • Understanding of Statistical Process Control methods and production testing is a plus.
    • A data-based approach to troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

1 j' I# |4 r8 D; B- t& w" S    • Act as the representative of the Engineering to plan, implement, and direct activities in Taiwan that support the objectives defined by the Corporate Director of Engineering.
    • Lead the effort to continually improve our's supply chain.
  Q% j; h9 V1 x3 B    • Use your directly applicable experience to guide the development of cost-effective and reliable manufacturing processes for Our products.
, K9 b! t4 V+ E6 b  F1 T* L) O    • Create an engineering environment that relies on the repeatable application of process – not tribal knowledge or seat-of-the-pants methodology – to produce the industry’s best and most consistent vapor chambers, heat pipe-based products, heat sinks, cold plates, and closed-loop liquid cooling products.

    • Manage processes by rigorously documenting them in accordance with Company and ISO requirements, and ensuring that they are scrupulously applied in all day-to-day operations.
