台北國際電腦展（COMPUTEX）InnoVEX新創特展共同主辦單位台北市電腦公會（TCA）表示，8日下午進行年度重點活動「InnoVEX PITCH Contest競賽」，八家進入決賽的新創團隊在經過各15分鐘Pitch，並由來自創投業界所組成的評審團熱烈討論之後，最後推選出由來自美國的BioInspira新創團隊獲得3萬美元PITCH Contest競賽獎金首獎！BioInspira是以生物技術開發出化學感測器陣列(sensor array)，可以提高對特定氣態分子偵測的敏感度與準確度，應用範圍與未來市場性相當值得期待。 在頒獎典禮進行時，也同步宣布由來自菲律賓的OneWatt Solutions獲得台達電子（Delta Electronics, Inc.）特別獎1萬美元；來自美國的Kloudless則獲得諾傑資本（Nogle Limited）與明越資本（Maxceed Capital Group）共同贊助的特別獎1萬美元。
由經濟部中小企業處贊助的「Startup Terrace Award」特別獎6萬美元獎金，本次選出五組團隊獲獎，包括A-Volute（法國）、Tempow（法國）、Origami Group Limited（台灣）、Kloudless（美國）、OneWatt Solutions（菲律賓）。 美國矽谷知名創投機構菲諾克斯風險投資公司（Fenox Venture Capital）共同創辦人兼執行長，同時也是InnoVEX 2018 PITCH Contest競賽評審召集人安尼士‧吾札曼（Anis Uzzaman）表示，今年進入決賽的新創團隊在產品應用領域上相當多樣化，而且參賽國家來自多個不同洲別，表示InnoVEX新創特展 PITCH Contest的國際化程度相當高，令評審們印象十分深刻。
