之前公司有個FAE離職 剛好小弟我有跟他那組的幾個RD合作過
0 z  U( i  E# [所以之間都不錯 他們就問我有沒有想要來接FAE的位子

他們老闆竟然也說 ok  內轉想來就來壓 我一定說ok的 只要他老闆同意讓他來
# }$ `( h7 `0 j2 L/ s9 c雖然心裡當然是想 但是FAE是在做什麼我根本不知道
" m( N& o- M3 X+ S- y: o只知道要去客戶那邊被定(??  因為小弟只是私立後段的學士而已

1 k$ r0 r8 ]& C/ B( P; A! F要學歷沒學歷 要專業沒專業 英文也是不太行

FAE有辦法讓人邊做邊學嗎? 真的不太懂FAE耶

5 G5 N" w9 ]8 l: C! c$ P( T原廠會提供參考線路及檢查要點，這參考線路通常都是由AE來設計，除此之外客戶
: X* p) ^0 g$ o9 o* {也會修改參考線路，所以還要針對客戶修改的線路加以檢查。
& l/ H+ c) ]3 i2 y# q* N, t2.layout review
原廠也會提供參考的layout及檢查的要點，例如一些高速的匯流排及電源走線
' \. i: P8 G0 ^7 T都要特別注意，常常會影響晶片的性能。

現在的IC公司基本上也要提供軟韌體的開發範例，這些範例也是由AE所開發出來的。

- f  k, w  X6 |+ P9 Y教育訓練，原廠AE很多機會對代理商及客戶進行產品訓練及展示。有些時候AE也會與
sales/marketing配合到客戶端去推銷產品。

IC廠會有許多的文件需要撰寫，包含datasheet，使用手冊...等，這些文件也是由AE

AE所需的技能：

根據不同的客戶需求，常常需要開發各種不同的應用，因此常常需要學習新的領域。
: E+ q+ Q1 @6 i* K% F" E快速的學習能力會是很重要的一個因素。

8 M+ y7 a- F$ O8 H6 v3 f不同於R&D，AE有很多的時間是在與別人溝通。對內要與sales, marketing, PM, R&D等
& L. w; E9 H) z( ^6 \* G  }溝通，對外要與客戶的R&D, PM或是合作廠商及代理商等溝通。良好的溝通能力會讓你的

3.語言能力
- T: A1 O: i5 g0 V3 r無論是台灣或是外國的IC廠商，英語能力都是不可或缺的必備能力。無論是聽說讀寫都
會常常使用到。不需要文辭優美文法正確，只要敢說敢講就可。
5 y3 D, w, o' f1 L4.EQ能力
1 ^( H( Z# S- e* hAE是第一線的作戰人員，常常有機會會受到客戶或是內部的合理或是不合理責難。這時候
良好的EQ會是很重要的一個因素。此外不同於R&D，很多案子常常執行到一半就取消，會
: @3 F, [8 f1 z$ l" Z' D2 L1 D常常有做白工的狀況，適時的調適自己的心情也是很重要的。
5.多工及管理能力
通常一個AE同時會要支援數個案子，所以如何有效的管理手上的案子，依照重要性來分配

AE的背景與出路：
背景：
目前觀察到的普遍來說AE的資歷都是比較淺的，很多同事都是在系統廠或是IC廠工作兩到
: T2 O/ i. {! c6 A( `三年後轉職過來。如果是國外更是常常看到大學剛畢業就去做AE。以AE的工作性質還蠻適
合新人來試試看。可以了解IC產業的運作模式，及學習到許多新的知識。
出路：
AE的出路很廣，想往技術方面發展可以轉往系統廠或IC廠做software/hardware的R&D，想
5 N$ B) m; q. v( I# K- b往行銷方面發展也可以轉去做sales/marketing，想往管理方面發展也可以轉去做PM。而且
AE相對來說認識的人面也會比廣，只要做的好轉職會很容易。
6 `" {" Y3 Y0 K3 q薪水：
一般來說AE的薪水在IC廠內是比較低的，一般來說外商的職缺薪水排名會如下：
sales > marketing >= FAE > AE
不過相對來說外商的AE進入難度也是這些職缺裡面最低的。

當初怎麼進來的? 我自己也很納悶 也感到很幸運

那時大學4年肄業 對於本科電子沒興趣 所以毅然決然的就去當兵了

當初有兩間公司開了Offer給我 一個是某認證實驗室 另一個就是這間House

聊的內容不外乎 學歷啦 動機啦 家庭背景 和一些基本專業知識

大頭很快的就給了口頭Offer 也就結束這個愉快的面試

FAE做什麼? 我公司大概就是對內 畫電路 對電路 Layout 焊接 和軟韌體溝通及測試

我剛進公司的第一年真的就是打雜的 前輩做什麼就跟著做

在旁邊多看多問 或是幫忙做 這樣會上手的很快

FAE不比一般RD只要把Code寫出來就好 會說話會溝通很重要

; S& X0 B- N0 u由於有時候要幫忙Handle RD寫不出來時去跟客戶協調

因此會交際和實力一樣重要

FAE需要的專業?

零件的工作原理! 如何用最小最便宜的料件去兜成你所需要的電路

專業知識夠的 可以用最少的時間用最適合的料件

差別只是在時間和成本 你的老闆重不重視就要看命了!!!

嘴砲技能點滿的 只要東西會動都是可以交差的

看自己要不要去更精進 英文能力好的 看的懂Code的

加上人面廣要Sample時能很快的入手需求料件

以上三點是最主要的發展方向

若是腦經靈活 常常能想出不一樣的方法來解決問題 這點更是重要

因為有時候RD寫Code只會照著原本Rule來寫
