為因應這些市場需求，富士通半導體此次推出的全新5V IIC FRAM系列，包括MB85RCxxxV系列中的MB85RC16V和MB85RC64V，其儲存容量(density level)分別為16Kb和64Kb。這兩款晶片均可在3.0～5.5V的電壓範圍內運作，可承受讀寫週期高達1兆次，並能在85°C的環境下將資料保存長達10年（正常運作溫度範圍內）。此外，其運作頻率最高可達400kHz。該系列產品採用8針腳塑膠SOP封裝含標準記憶體針腳配置，可完全與E2PROM晶片相容。

東芝啟動全球首批15奈米NAND快閃記憶體量產

(20140423 18:08:32)東京--(美國商業資訊)--東芝公司(Toshiba Corporation, TOKYO:6502)今天宣布，該公司已開發出全球首個15奈米(nm)*1製程技術，該技術將應用於容量128Gb (16GB)、每單元容量2位元(2-bit-per-cell)的NAND快閃記憶體中。採用新技術的量產將於四月底在位於四日市業務部(Yokkaichi Operations)生產據點的Fab 5啟動，從而取代東芝之前的一流製程——第二代19奈米製程技術。Fab 5是東芝的NAND快閃記憶體製造廠（晶圓廠）。Fab 5的第二期段施工目前正有條不紊地進行中，而新製程技術也將在此部署。

東芝已借助15奈米製程及改良的週邊電路技術實現全球最小等級的晶片尺寸。這款新型晶片具有與採用第二代19奈米製程技術形成的晶片相同的寫入速度，但其透過採用高速介面，使得資料傳輸速率增加至每秒533MB，這一速率是採用第二代製程技術的晶片的1.3倍。
