Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 P6 L5 m: b+ KIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 l* q4 R" h* a* ^+ \! W2 V ]the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre5 t% k7 k' T, I" Q, o
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.* W6 t$ o% d$ o7 p
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

$ t( q2 }- v4 C' A9 i6 ~1. Open the viewer.
: D- _% k6 D% {2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
# j3 k6 I- r2 v3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
