- \5 Q9 V9 S0 D _! |: Z% V1. Research and develop still/motion image processing algorithms relating to auto exposure control, bad pixel correction, color interpolation, white balance, noise reduction, image enhancement, and/or pattern recognition 1 e* I$ G6 k: H& G8 G) l/ N
2. Perform system modeling of camera pipeline components, including imagers and digital image processing modules. + b2 o0 E3 y$ p7 O
3. Perform signal analysis to evaluate quality of image processing algorithms and systems. Perform analysis and characterization of imaging sensors.
: l7 j/ ]( i3 i& f5 Y' b4. Algorithm optimization in Mathematics or Hardware.
: P4 j. Z* g4 c$ ]: x5. Work with hardware engineers to conduct hardware implementation solutions to embed the algorithms into chips;Help hardware engineers to check bugs and verify the implementation.
& z8 W( a, ]1 F: l! l# R5 u6. Define product tuning tools and documentation for customers, as well as training for applications team 1 I8 s% w- d$ M! ]; Y3 c

1. Master''s degree in EE/CS/Optical Engineering or other related field0-3 years of experience
! s& v' k1 m% n- o( f2. Experience in image processing algorithms with background in advanced filtering, color reproduction, automated threshold selection, pattern recognition, statistical analysis, etc.
' e4 h i* q& m- S" A4 Q3. Proficiency in C, C++ and / or Matlab coding to design and run simulations for complex image pipeline ' X. p$ p+ y# F. ?3 \
4. Background in image processing in related industries, such as digital still camera or surveillance camera is a plus
( ^0 E6 l$ ?6 B3 B. b% [5. Knowledge of hardware realization of the algorithms is a big plus
( J* y1 H2 a0 ]5 e6 A( `4 [# ~6. Team player with good communication and presentation skills. 2 W3 l1 M& F$ P4 j4 k8 f
