Responsibilities: - c9 m1 Z* C, V$ t8 z6 Q, f
1. Research and develop still/motion image processing algorithms relating to auto exposure control, bad pixel correction, color interpolation, white balance, noise reduction, image enhancement, and/or pattern recognition + n" J0 p0 M. m& `7 K4 J
2. Perform system modeling of camera pipeline components, including imagers and digital image processing modules. " m4 ?( O) L* [, d+ c
3. Perform signal analysis to evaluate quality of image processing algorithms and systems. Perform analysis and characterization of imaging sensors. * A" ^; P4 W/ n" v8 D2 }5 _2 \
4. Algorithm optimization in Mathematics or Hardware.
: r' R: O; A! N8 D6 s5. Work with hardware engineers to conduct hardware implementation solutions to embed the algorithms into chips;Help hardware engineers to check bugs and verify the implementation. / d3 M) f6 G A8 {4 {5 J; C& {. i
6. Define product tuning tools and documentation for customers, as well as training for applications team ( l" s' ]& z, ^! z4 `

1. Master''s degree in EE/CS/Optical Engineering or other related field0-3 years of experience ) M/ ^' k- R& D) p- h S# i! W
2. Experience in image processing algorithms with background in advanced filtering, color reproduction, automated threshold selection, pattern recognition, statistical analysis, etc. 2 h3 ?# A7 b# O+ v& F; S
3. Proficiency in C, C++ and / or Matlab coding to design and run simulations for complex image pipeline
* g+ z" O% v9 V- Y% Q4. Background in image processing in related industries, such as digital still camera or surveillance camera is a plus
; J! T1 a0 ^- r$ n5. Knowledge of hardware realization of the algorithms is a big plus ) C+ W* y" ]3 k
6. Team player with good communication and presentation skills.
