Biography of Fermi Wang:
   Fermi is CEO and co-founder of Ambarella Inc, which was funded in early 2004 and became a public company in 2012 (NASDAQ: AMBA).Ambarella is a fabless semiconductor company focusing on the next generation HD video applications. Before Ambarella, Fermi was at Benchmark Capital as Entrepreneur in Residence in 2003. Before he joined Benchmark,Fermi was CEO and co-founder of Afara Websystems, a startup that pioneered throughput computing for servers, and was acquired by Sun Microsystems in July, 2002.The multi-core, multi-thread CPU design developed at Afara is the critical technology on Oracle/Sun’s current roadmap for its UltraSPARC T-series processors. Prior to Afara, Fermi held several executive management positions at C-Cube. Fermi owns several digital video related patents; one of them is accepted by MPEGLA as one of the essential MPEG-2 and H.264 patents.
   Fermi earned his PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and received his BS in EE from National Taiwan University.
