【新竹訊】工研院電光所11月2日在臺大醫院國際會議中心，舉辦「國際多核技術與應用研討會」，邀請英特爾（Intel）等8位國際知名大廠專家學者，分享多核心技術發展趨勢、平行處理、創新應用及雲端運算服務等主題的最新資訊及進展。

) c6 |) P) x: W! T) Y: s& M當天將有Intel中國研究院院長方之熙發表Intel在微處理器設計及架構研發進展，NVIDIA公司 Nathan Bell博士針對該公司推出的CUDA（計算統一設備架構,Compute Unified Device Architecture）技術應用發展作專題演講。

台灣網路服務兩大通路Yahoo技術長丁綺萍及Google台灣區總經理簡立峰，也將以網路服務平台所使用的雲端運算經驗與大家分享，Toshiba資深研究員Kenichi Mori則以「超級引擎－SpursEngine的軟體發展」進行專題演講，此外，來自德州農工大學、清華大學與工研院的教授與專家，也將分享在多核運算與平行處理的最新研究成果。
