The –no_design_rule option is not used frequently and as the name + Z) N7 x: P8 \, h: w) W; ^suggests, it instructs DC to refrain from fixing DRCs. You may use this $ N' n& G% l1 w4 Y# q% M- [6 I( ^; Coption for initial passes of compile, when you don’t want to waste time ) K q0 u1 _) I0 u! lfixing DRC violations. At a later stage, generate the constraint report and( U. ~- x) V! l0 O0 C" i# z
then re-compile incrementally to fix DRCs. This is obviously a painful 3 o; q# d+ H4 K' B5 Fapproach and users are advised to make their own judgement.
