Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ e" v0 m5 S7 f) C' KIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 X0 i5 c! F$ T, O$ b# _
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 ]3 M2 T! I8 d- x$ g3 o4 f" u
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 S- q2 k- {. e5 j% t4 ]
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.2 k! D: e) G" y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
