Overview: Open to any company (not just 1394TA members) 1394a and 1394b testing available No fees for testing Industrial Cameras following the IIDC standard are eligible to earn logos Microsoft will be present to test 1394b products for compatibility with a pre-release 1394b stack Drop off devices 12 November; Pick Up 16 November FREE Design Seminars on Friday, 16 November Details: The 1394 Trade Association will host a Compliance and Interoperability Workshop in Taipei, Taiwan starting on November 12, 2007. All companies are invited to participate. You do not need to be a member of the 1394TA. There is no charge for this event. All products which pass will be eligible for the FireWire/i.LINK 1394 compliant logos. We welcome products such as add-in cards, motherboards, computers, peripherals, A/V devices, etc. Also, industrial camera products which follow the IIDC standard are eligible to earn the logos at this event. The only products we can not test at this event are cables and connectors. Products delivered to the 1394TA will be tested by our experienced test teams from Quantum Parametrics, Fraunhofer IPMS, Unibrain, and Microsoft. Microsoft will test 1394b products for compatibility with a pre-release 1394b stack. They will not offer certification.
