Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
3 O+ p5 m# m$ d, [If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between: P( j- {, j @ X! S3 X, k
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
6 N7 t7 c1 N7 m" X* ?Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
/ G6 P) Q, |2 ^1 B, q- S7 D: TBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 N8 u! J+ M4 W( r X4 B6 }
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
. V+ Y! U7 `0 _0 i6 o* L; x1. Open the viewer.
. N9 |/ q: ^" ?2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.% I0 r( T. s0 {- T j
5. Click Connect.
