Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 J8 W( D9 U2 X3 I& d
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
( w4 L" Y# J7 p) G; d) hthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre5 g: r9 r0 x( o0 X& l
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) x3 X. s+ _; Y' x. G
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
" g' z& H+ a6 F- h: Y2 V, FYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( x8 O5 Q1 t7 n" x1. Open the viewer.
& Z" F7 k& i5 }2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& ?% z; Y: X! d
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# `: E, _( e* f0 R# _# O* ~ Z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
