Setting Up Communication With a Viewer4 w* w- G6 N f
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% i. w4 e0 I+ ~" cthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
. w3 k" r, f& [3 l; FInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.6 F% R4 ` T% H; t& l( E
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.% m- \' b, R2 L E8 m
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
: h& S! ^0 |) \3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…- Y' C! S. L D2 q9 n9 A; E! m% L
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer. c j! K7 W) l j
5. Click Connect.
