Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: i8 f) \1 E4 M' p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 d5 a; u) ^. e# [- Z# C- K1 R* B
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 D v* \$ G: N: ~Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 w, }& t7 S0 d! W$ I( T0 JBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.8 r# _& K0 V4 D8 A/ Q9 U( w
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
; u- k' B' U( @% g& l6 w/ m1. Open the viewer.; j: L# V+ g# f2 I( y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) q* `+ x8 E7 S0 D; _. x
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% I5 f' {+ U" g) O
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
