Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; a$ N! ?/ ?4 s( y
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' \% M# x s1 nthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 j' z. }- z }9 kInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 Q3 p1 p1 V3 ?
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
: O4 ? u2 C# V4 a) v2 W2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) S" U" B& q8 l3 V6 k& `* V5 N
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% _- a$ M+ a$ B9 X$ P
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
