Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( C4 X7 d- J- o
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between5 G8 z5 T5 Y0 K4 w6 N' H& a
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 E0 R& a! z7 B
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 k: V* O+ I- I/ b5 e/ L
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% d% N. y3 A; n
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
6 L V0 ]3 } \2 g1. Open the viewer.
5 s2 C; s0 B5 R0 v2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

5 S+ K' G3 T" S& Q7 k0 Z4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
