Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
, w y8 ^" r7 }% XIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& n0 Y( ?2 v) \- lthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
! K# [+ k8 D1 W+ {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ O4 F0 a, Z( c. p/ fBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 j6 x. U0 A7 i( t, W! f0 W
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# o! Y7 U" I( O
1. Open the viewer.
* h) r4 @" F. w2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.0 |4 ^. e% {& N& W, R
