Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
) n. L& E/ x7 E1 Y* |If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
! n$ l$ x0 e& Y3 v( I4 D Xthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 }: o# O$ o& DInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* m- I6 l; E/ b# h8 o0 k. gBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
, D2 z' M0 F- ~/ LYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; }$ V* m/ t( j, j( c
1. Open the viewer.1 L5 @1 ?' A4 F: Q$ ~
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' g8 ~$ {5 Q/ c: E, j- A& d
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
