Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
' P0 D% `( P y! tIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
( n& z6 {4 @/ [4 rthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 ^- ]7 K: O% E" YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& s3 ?4 R5 J& |# b3 y1 L; e" N& \By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.- u# P1 A1 B. v) m. t9 c
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 D- v9 u& P. ?! F1. Open the viewer.& n( z+ O: v) h6 N' a
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
* ?: A( o& `( q* v) g3 q! f3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
$ z5 A) O" ^' L5 m: F- I4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
