If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' P G" d! r$ C4 I
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 {$ A1 `- m; E' u" ^- K" g9 I
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* \1 \; ]: ~+ J2 K/ B: ABy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! c- l' n; w7 @. M' O& }& E8 HYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% I0 h0 x8 y [' X2 \
1. Open the viewer." M! w' x6 ^" g9 d% [( A( q1 \* J1 c
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
% p* q* m3 d/ d/ l: y3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 D7 }0 ]; V! X
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.2 ?1 S- f+ S' F; i$ q
5. Click Connect.
