Setting Up Communication With a Viewer) X9 N3 p2 `2 n' W; l6 O7 r4 R
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
* O- f" K$ B, |+ ?, lthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
5 D! m% w- x( I( U; }& ?Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# X- K1 e9 u7 R' ?$ @By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
a. t* ?/ A4 V. oYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:$ U) s. _# E( {
1. Open the viewer.3 |( l, k7 P1 U+ M% }# A
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& Z, m) {# K) J. U$ C
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ m7 k6 v, a3 Z4 v9 L. i" j
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
