Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ T; y( ]- ?4 F* B7 _. [/ F) l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' w, f, U$ b" {; X' uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 ]& I6 F! a/ H6 P" jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& n$ D& }, z8 [; |( K6 q m+ |By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.( h1 @- A& v7 z! z2 G
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& O2 T5 q4 W. n9 c: h! C
1. Open the viewer.
* h6 g: f6 ~) A# f) P" ]2 M2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 i/ ?8 o7 b: d+ i. S$ x R
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
& K: p( P3 ^# C) q N5 y4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
