If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( M/ A9 ]7 U5 h. x8 Q) |9 [8 E- t
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' ?1 H, Q8 v* U R' R
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 d' y5 t- d2 A4 @+ z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.: q+ f* G6 E' v3 p; m+ Q% w+ U
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:" {8 u7 l% s0 U( B3 e
1. Open the viewer.) c, H5 A5 k; n
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& s8 D% u. h" ?- g! K- h
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ b4 t+ n+ F+ M; t! j2 h5 Q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.6 T4 v1 w ^5 i' Y1 j: O) I6 D
5. Click Connect.- k) n6 ?% W6 O1 S O2 L: {8 \7 d
