Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: F! n5 X: q8 K
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% b1 n! K& o0 d/ r4 N; v
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* ?( H* V& |% v- {5 f. b
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 j% H7 {0 Q2 m' [: m, q( aBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.. L( G/ J o4 I. n* O7 P; O
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:" Q- K) F4 W1 O- p$ U
1. Open the viewer.$ m3 w, p/ }9 q1 E( i6 a& a
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. P( F9 T( a4 n" a
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
% Z6 V- Q) C, X& F- b4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
