Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% ^" s3 m' ?) _$ M# |# H/ b" ^. p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
- u8 S2 H7 B% _# I$ Lthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# [3 G! ~, }7 f- n0 ^! {& y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) P) a4 a* k9 y2 [' tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
7 D; ` l( I( RYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
1 A: k5 \8 M! J' Y4 ^1. Open the viewer.
: T* [3 T" }* O4 D1 K' Y2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& Z/ K w. h2 h$ u3 E8 `! ]3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, o- N0 J; s' P- x: `
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
