Setting Up Communication With a Viewer! p4 D* @$ L; X+ W( m- H
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between$ t7 [. h8 R+ w
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, q. q) ~- ]) i+ K& p& jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.* {, @" H+ K2 z& I% k
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
' `; q* Z& L* f6 }5 l, n( z' d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: b" y" @- j* K) b1 @# E0 P
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…' r5 S5 ?) K, z* y, d, L+ w# _
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* t! u7 p9 A# E6 Z" f T
