If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 Z( B" `4 w- k& r2 e
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre" {7 ?/ P3 m/ S7 p* E( Z
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets., v' p7 p* f) d6 f8 Z8 `# a
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 E' Q, c4 h* [+ |. b/ E& x
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:, I$ j( O# V' q3 p. z# C
1. Open the viewer.
+ i) b! x* @' k1 }2 P& T2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: T8 r2 A4 { t$ n* {7 |
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…0 w, U8 \7 u6 J' Q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
