Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
5 E; H, X4 @$ ^ K, H$ v) WIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ ]+ K4 s- X; c" F5 K; ]; N) O; Q1 c) f
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ O' R( G9 ~: }/ s: y vInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.3 X8 J! ?' u7 p: f+ A
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.0 j! x5 \+ E5 I& d
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ @5 G# N! I/ m2 ~% @8 f2 k1. Open the viewer." N5 X8 a+ ~; }- n* R& v
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
% H0 x$ C+ ?8 _3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
6 o" l" g1 e# T+ K4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.: l/ M, \+ G8 L% U2 R% q6 t" T
5. Click Connect.
