Setting Up Communication With a Viewer/ H, @9 d9 }/ k" h
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 b' t' f7 e" l. ]the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 M4 Z. _0 S/ X& A a& KInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets./ p6 j( C9 B% l0 d. x
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
8 B8 Y3 a6 Y' y3 K/ z" wYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
& G- M5 e H* k7 I4 r1 t$ v3 n1. Open the viewer.
9 _& {. j0 g$ L" N& h3 i3 k2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ c5 ?# _" |$ {9 a* p3 M9 b
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, d& ^9 q \! H2 G. ~4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
