Setting Up Communication With a Viewer8 m8 { i: `2 b u, K3 i! l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* m: a) {$ s9 `! m0 Z1 Q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre) Y6 d" E. t% p
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% g1 y" p! m8 W, P$ pBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
2 t" L) C4 x1 n9 Z Q% tYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
! r5 g( e6 y1 [+ O. p- |3 A1. Open the viewer.
& F* @$ G6 u; w+ y. `2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# e, h+ n5 G8 i4 `, T/ M Z, k
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
