Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 Q( b1 ^8 N0 m
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! x! a3 ]* n( X, l
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 I9 ?- g; T) }: A/ E8 i
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.$ g# N5 V8 }# F7 D* x0 d. |0 k
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& o" y7 H& X9 F# G2 w* D
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
$ o/ p$ K! N/ l9 F4 W1. Open the viewer.* h& s8 E8 \) S( I/ m% M9 A5 _
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 U1 y* p# u8 o g: H
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 `5 O) ]# z( C# L" y8 x
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ k% E* X* u4 k; b& z4 i
5. Click Connect.
