Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% M+ L0 B0 l) H3 L& b }& p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
* Y0 b- W% T& `$ i0 gthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
: C$ P; m) X! oInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.9 h3 m7 F0 b7 G# X X
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
& U d# U Z8 {8 q6 O1 CYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) t2 l3 z$ H2 K1 o( l4 ~5 A
1. Open the viewer.
$ Y4 W6 R) x- P7 ~' K0 d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 o2 v4 g3 f. d" t. T3 |3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…0 z: n* |6 f0 U
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.3 l! b' r: V+ {" H) Y7 L
