Setting Up Communication With a Viewer& N0 J5 x2 g3 s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
/ ~- k( } {3 P- Pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre X$ u8 y% p- r- \6 u* m
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 l m0 p1 v" j9 W+ l) _& q/ N
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# I8 O( r6 Z; J3 l$ A0 l8 P4 ` yYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:: X% H6 [+ r* |& o# I5 N/ F; e
1. Open the viewer.7 ]: W" P B, E# I* D. F
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
