Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

: B+ L! N7 u) V$ Uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 z! }* Z$ k- J1 g8 }- f' LInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 G* \$ T: S* }) y: D% a
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! n& G# D8 G0 k1 UYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% `. t' U/ e9 S/ z7 ~* B
1. Open the viewer.
2 `6 P- F- P. u/ x4 ~6 r9 b6 L( j2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
7 ] Q1 R8 g+ K, J% n. q6 [3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
