Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
1 A+ n7 i& @ s8 MIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ [ {, O$ m o+ d8 t0 t3 n
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; A" U+ K: [% }2 b
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 N/ d: f' Q4 ]2 b/ O; V! u- g
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.8 o- W# v7 I# g( X# w
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 K* o6 Y) ~: m2 ]3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…4 H+ Y; x: b N* [! x; Y& G
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer." ^" b( e: C1 u' A; S% K) I: b) M% }
5. Click Connect.
