Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 s5 V1 Y( `$ A8 |' i7 z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

+ g3 k2 |! A. o8 @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 y0 Z7 L$ D+ l4 m" k! E* H3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 {2 z# t" _/ s! b/ d* t
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& S5 K2 {1 Y7 M+ E' S$ }8 l# j
5. Click Connect.
