Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 K3 A4 ?8 a* C3 K! o. a6 G/ J, _If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between: f$ L! P( S9 U, Z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 J4 J/ X" S' n) g* [Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% \& A! D! h3 L( N" o/ k
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

) D5 t* u- V4 C$ E+ a9 f$ k1. Open the viewer.
6 ?7 \0 \9 ~2 t9 `) {2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
+ B$ T2 M" }( }! }, s3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
