If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, v8 e+ d& a; I2 K3 x. b bthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( O% w6 @9 U2 Q( I" r: b4 oInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& s5 l% ~4 Q' lBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.- s$ C1 |0 x) ]& ~; s, }
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:8 y. k' D' ~) d# K3 w7 O7 r
1. Open the viewer.
$ W. y$ B/ J7 G* }; u& a5 {# }2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. o9 S7 o! X( G4 G9 Z! J
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
