Setting Up Communication With a Viewer) K) Y s' r% J( W
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
) _# L0 Z, B) t1 m& mthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre& y R1 h9 i0 J% S3 b0 F
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 w" v! S1 L5 w6 I1 F
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% U" E% H$ w3 ]) q6 f# s1 R5 R4 ~) i
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( M. H# o1 g% t. H0 c; g5 \/ g1. Open the viewer.5 z: @" A, W1 j9 _
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ s9 O: |0 p0 F! F4 R
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
$ v( \: p. O7 J4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer." [* h% f3 x5 K. B
5. Click Connect.
