Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( k6 I, E/ X6 l: M" V% Q
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# N/ D- i% m' }$ j4 g! G+ G
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ C+ c5 f" @2 n/ j) [. c' h# V! s) Y/ `
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& D+ u$ y' z1 e
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* e# K4 I) Z- z, a H+ ~% x. P. T
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
6 K. E' \- i+ A1. Open the viewer.
3 B& o0 x* V7 F4 T2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
# b; v/ \* h( e3 t3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
