Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# }1 k, w( T" }5 s4 sIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ G. x% t$ i! s2 J x
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
7 _) J V2 K/ g5 a( YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
2 X3 ` X2 b1 d: ~By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ e; m5 B! p# {
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:+ z1 o7 F' X$ v7 G# _! T7 j
1. Open the viewer.1 o1 v% g' n4 E( X' i
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
