Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
" M" d( I. b( i/ kIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, P) X( I Z3 gthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre1 Z3 a1 @$ ]! E. x- ? e% }9 k) W+ m
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.' S( k2 g; }% Q8 J' h
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 Q% k0 O* m( q& S, C) H
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ p4 \! g+ r7 x' J- F1 O" W3 w
5. Click Connect.
