If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
+ U/ C! ]/ K8 R- }* k1 V) _& @# ythe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* B+ q6 J1 Q% x
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 e5 ~. B6 g9 ?- E( |+ q- GBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
9 F' x/ c$ Q( \1 u' hYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* h; ^$ z7 M+ G* ~$ }' e) n1. Open the viewer.
! z% f4 u* E0 c. u* V5 k7 p2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
