Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% X) E. L; p' b. T( Y" M
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 O1 w0 @( ^" [# h/ a2 gthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; c5 h4 l! Q' X3 C* n3 y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# J: V% d3 L0 T3 e1 p, QBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
4 i3 }* J7 v- tYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
' U+ e7 u% Z) r" B0 L; V# ~1. Open the viewer.
# R( z$ e6 N% H5 v5 _( V2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 ~0 x- a4 s7 k) o+ }3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 Q3 V/ L% X1 q2 {; d
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
