Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 Y# U4 O k# u, }; `If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! s: o% k6 r- ?5 O. I/ s
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' f) K' [: L1 G9 A- L) QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 l! e- O9 Y1 S2 z8 S
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ i G' u% t; [/ p. o8 [% v$ c
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& ~9 Z4 f; U h7 @1 l3 O( Y
1. Open the viewer.4 U1 n4 Z( a" M2 S( e- t
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ i' @$ ^: R& Q( }& b4 y2 n
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" E9 G0 y0 [! h
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
