Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. ]; E6 C. e& u' V; kIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' I( M: R( T0 d; zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 c' v- r o9 z* j3 ]9 w7 mInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
, Z9 d$ s6 R. Z& r/ eBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 ~& i @+ \$ E
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:! h& W( z9 N, `1 P. D
1. Open the viewer.
' I+ R$ l- l1 ]! h! ^: ?2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.. z3 ]0 |+ W* j" G |
