Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 K! b% T* c. c4 N
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& e% I) H6 x( N" ^
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ u5 s! H- b1 |! |
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& ~" v3 Z0 I% F# n( p, t5 vBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! E- }2 Z, I2 A. P1 N5 w$ UYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* w+ @& I0 |$ Z" K+ I1. Open the viewer.1 U7 u+ k4 k) D4 M, G
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened., _. X$ k6 r' x% t
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…$ B" r' A8 w5 Y" z( R! X% v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.4 V* @0 y' a2 @5 w+ Z- n- D7 {
