Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
5 n! }. l6 o6 sIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% P5 {' z+ N! P% b) k7 x3 a' g, ithe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 R( V3 b4 E5 w7 |1 D( ~. S- Z1 j
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ u$ m5 _1 M9 P, s5 d3 ^4 e# jBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
+ x+ m+ V. N7 V* [# O6 ~: B- `8 a2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 V+ y1 D" e! Z+ O! x( d9 p
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
