Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
5 J" a% W. Q1 w7 G* p6 `If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' M, ~' G/ t6 q1 F& Z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: Z6 s; Y& d7 ~& o9 [/ e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- ]* s# J& f D8 R$ n5 N' ?By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
$ R7 o2 [: E- WYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ q+ z( r/ G8 r. X" [ [
1. Open the viewer.0 r! H0 V k3 h' X, q
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
% p) x6 Z! s" A3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" ]( h9 [2 U' Y, v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
