Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
2 d- V3 [$ K# S) W; kIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
1 F1 a6 d7 q, {8 }the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 u4 j1 u0 {0 r3 _ H3 KInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ I( D% \6 x7 f. y1 R. k( S2 [0 Y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ F2 h0 h' d% l' l8 r' [You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
8 p: O7 u' F" o# A: g" ^- R1. Open the viewer.! i8 h6 D& V& T, p4 n* Y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) U' n$ f5 s, ]6 E. C; g3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# A# l: V- g" Z M
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.8 [5 p8 V$ V" t$ T) x6 Y7 p& j
5. Click Connect.
