Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 q- U0 q/ }0 U, [+ t' n3 }3 `$ lIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
/ F) t3 s2 ?" d6 t* s0 q4 f' kthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre% {, V2 t4 O: _( J' N( f9 e4 V7 G; E
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 M1 ? [8 V! }, X; w$ e
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

0 x$ m/ H; ^- F" l' k& h2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.9 A# d. Y( N& c: @
