Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
; ]' ?& {$ O: ?* t! \If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 W* M2 I+ O+ n8 m4 O4 U) y
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! K; a3 s9 q3 v% o2 n: l
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: v9 L& f9 z& |By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.7 D2 Y) ^6 y0 ]+ [; t1 v f p
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
/ U* P3 M8 B y: o1. Open the viewer.
, V2 u4 P% e0 j5 {2 t6 X1 w$ b2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" K0 E7 h4 S8 h3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
@: M, d x/ \4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
