Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. J3 c. x( N, XIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% V' K# M0 y3 Y1 R- ?
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) }. z2 \2 T( ], p5 f4 ?1 J: {4 GInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets./ N$ F2 Y8 U' y- l
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ b9 k2 k. ~0 S( D0 t0 w
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* s% s: B+ a- C3 L6 Y/ ]' r
1. Open the viewer.
6 S3 u7 g( j. r6 ~4 x2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
+ l. j1 }, r- D. P3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
