Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 k- q' \* m4 R, j, m. TIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 z! ^1 y& q. z+ `* _3 X) q$ fthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre, l$ x) @7 }2 j4 [. H# O5 V: P" ?$ i
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% q- L( G: R0 G7 F+ W2 J( zBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., W/ [1 c; `4 V- Q. s$ n: V4 B
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* _' g' N- ?1 n! E& F
1. Open the viewer., `: _7 t* U' U! F* z+ U6 J
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.! d( m h! V. O7 |) s4 ]. c. n
5. Click Connect.
