Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
2 P) d# Q# K1 d5 ~8 E/ q0 Y% h. FIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between: E3 @' e' p: p2 t4 z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( h3 @1 A0 x3 J" N kInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 {( o( ]- n) {1 d. |7 r P, i2 ]By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ j- B8 c- x& F( G* \You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
9 l, m7 Y; A% z( Y+ j) B9 m7 h1. Open the viewer.
/ T$ x7 g1 Y& V- @8 q& h2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& U+ m3 q3 w h; u3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…- P5 f, a% w' C8 I) z/ u
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
