Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* q1 [$ ]3 o( _
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
0 z9 Q( _1 v2 [7 v: ]9 o* N4 z# Uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; O J6 v# A; ^: { q4 Y# W
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ |0 A0 p# L4 sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.. L1 P" t2 p! {6 _7 f+ b
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:$ ]4 \* p/ ^0 `. A% n+ T
1. Open the viewer.
2 x$ I1 m+ n- E7 a7 b6 d! `) n2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ [, j1 g2 w& A, ^- h& y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 [, q& x% D* @6 i V7 t
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.0 Q c5 ~5 @6 @+ e& t. Y5 |
5. Click Connect.
