Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
6 j9 e: f2 l" c; d8 U9 B! P+ u1 U/ ZIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
- U" p+ }- c+ W+ Ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 O- y$ c& H: e9 Y9 L) |- B" W
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
9 e& m/ n X; [By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
* A/ V6 D; s& ^7 l1 tYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, P0 P$ r6 ~; H/ R# w- l1. Open the viewer.
6 J- V r7 S) Y( E- V2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# H! M% C' b" l7 H* ~6 D
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
" e# Y& ^& ?5 t# `* b4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
