Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ g1 C. E( L. b: I+ U/ ^8 G; z
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, Q: s! D" a! @, P/ {
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 q- U$ r% R6 F* p* L( V6 t" TInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.6 F: g% H; n9 v+ P g7 m
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
g9 M2 E: j8 U. v' `# I2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
5 I" H( E5 | w3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… z# |$ u" B0 w0 h' C' s
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer. v1 I9 C0 X0 B1 Y5 x
5. Click Connect.% r: P% G& o% v- t
