If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, a3 y% w/ W% s% pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& q' z) u7 h# b4 e; T3 @Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. C, u: r% \8 K1 N' u( [1 d# PBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
6 H6 D+ k/ ^8 I3 `You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 \0 W b0 V# v3 S Z1. Open the viewer.1 O9 l4 g% G R! p/ V2 n
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
; P0 p- z! ], x( ^1 y3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
% c& Q" ?" R$ X' Q# n1 u7 N# J: F* C4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
