Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
! B& ^& c" E8 B/ }3 a$ HIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between0 t' i/ [+ E. ]; {; Y7 J0 f
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ J; {. G3 P3 V% P4 ^" H. v
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.' u- T; J7 I* G" Z$ P9 F
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
" Y4 R8 Q# f& g! G: y0 t: zYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
\; B0 q; S7 L! z( g1. Open the viewer.
# M6 s5 K! m' @6 I2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 {1 H6 ^2 P' a) p8 ]
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
