Setting Up Communication With a Viewer& c/ x" z: D) w% U
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ B" L6 h* h2 O! e! a
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* K4 j* a" B' l5 M+ ~9 L( A, f" K7 ?Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 x5 H. \* B& e! C' P
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
" T$ H2 l( h: Q! g) U$ O7 e, e$ ^You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
& B0 V- ^; H1 V/ b7 N% M9 N1. Open the viewer.
) G' J3 t ]# K. |, C! J3 [; I" o: d4 g2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; z- @) m9 Z; N9 c* ?, H
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
