Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 t4 w& P( u6 T! WIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
2 \, ]9 T+ M' _# w& t$ f! mthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 V. y# r( J4 y1 e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 u# Y D* g5 m3 X2 c+ F
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
5 r8 y' A @$ O+ l* V4 tYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ u \- o4 z6 h% d3 E$ E3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. z8 ]3 `/ k. N/ O
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
