Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% Q, P- @/ R5 I
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! d4 ^0 Y4 S5 e' F+ T2 a! _# l
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ y' A) I6 n v+ Q9 V0 M3 IInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- [+ L) X. c |0 A+ f9 ?7 WBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ s8 K' V: r8 j/ s7 m
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:. r! u# Z6 W7 B9 M- q
1. Open the viewer.6 |. S9 _+ r, B5 W% E
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.4 }3 P9 R. D( ^& l6 f
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
) t# J3 j; R, {" Z) i& t! o a: m4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer." E P, s# j% Z4 c6 ~& ]
5. Click Connect.
