If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' V/ b# z. Q' E7 X. k
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! [- Y( `" `2 M. Q) Z; f
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" `* \, r' I! }' Z. c! ]; S0 q3 XBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.5 I! u$ h* R( G) y0 e
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) `) M0 f, c/ W/ ]5 ]
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 N2 v# A4 ]+ A+ w" v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer./ ^" u+ \' ~& k- d L' ?4 M
5. Click Connect.+ i& n# y" ]# ^
6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
