Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
2 K# Z9 b% g3 s8 n! k$ dIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between. f6 [* M& {( d8 D
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' r" T* t9 q" y$ ]" ^, D2 h
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
! R7 i/ Y/ V8 x; ~+ y7 \By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ ^) z1 A# | HYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
& T5 ^- `! I/ u7 b1. Open the viewer.# o$ @" _ x( p5 h1 N8 C4 ]; p9 c
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
+ N; w% }/ t& H9 w S3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
/ B) L$ P& @+ _" g4 r4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
