Setting Up Communication With a Viewer W8 e: _! o1 V! q. B
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' Q. y/ m, b9 I. V. k" R6 W
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 g" y/ E; X8 W2 Q* v
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 t+ Y, M" b/ H# D
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! e+ Z# `/ s$ |- N
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# n' L" t& R/ g4 I( B
1. Open the viewer.
$ a! q4 S+ w! Z$ h s$ r2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
