Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; C6 p; v7 Q& ?- P9 X- s9 T
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# L0 r0 h4 \; g. F) K
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre) U9 b! Y7 w* p% C, `6 k6 i; g
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( P3 \. B+ Z# @" ?: IBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
4 g) p5 B/ y3 N2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
