Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
1 d4 l9 s7 S J1 _) nIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, u; W: [8 _6 ~- @9 p& @
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
7 W- Z/ q. X2 j' g. l5 P0 p2 {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& A; L% @& z# V. z1 ?
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
I3 G% `/ d) G0 l! J; {You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# v/ ~ h0 ]: v
1. Open the viewer.
1 d5 p6 M9 e3 V5 G' \8 r- K8 q2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
