Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' j1 v& h4 A: u, v
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ c# T1 t, N/ M8 ]0 J& \; S
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- v5 K3 X b& K6 `
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.3 F8 u; X* y) C* m) l5 z h
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
; Y1 i5 r+ a% [. O& o+ B* DYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
7 T1 ~. e4 ]) i# y0 P4 R1. Open the viewer.
* R# P) S z D4 Q( F2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
' i9 E& q, @ v) f6 X3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
) W/ j8 e& y, S% @: n4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.! z z. K4 U1 j" H6 }3 n; ^
