Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
; f2 D/ V! ~- ]* b$ P YIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
. X ]& H% x% D4 C0 K0 ]. ]$ n' _the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre+ L4 a% H' f1 v7 m7 k
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; C$ a. P4 E5 @$ D' EBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* _; R2 Z7 c8 O0 k# L0 g" `
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' a0 F/ x0 G4 m0 j" r6 Q
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… b& p+ N. Q$ d9 ]% d
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ L5 g# a6 `3 y4 s6 N
5. Click Connect.4 d+ H% \( h! p9 ]$ q& D w
