If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& O. E( U2 G- E
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, n8 @# R- f* C1 q9 }+ F6 d% qInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.3 \) ?" k0 R1 x0 i0 @
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& R8 ~- g3 I1 R& ~. C
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:9 e6 X, ]- h) Z4 y" M2 k$ H& B
1. Open the viewer.% u4 X, g% U$ e
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.9 P& o1 O* u. @, @
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
' w5 {7 B3 X) U6 }- Z' M8 \4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
