Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* Y( ~' Z1 y: T, w+ ]5 U9 W
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% z# t. m6 y4 W' o6 _$ |7 @the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre+ J% k4 A& G, ~; N+ B* q [
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. s5 F8 h8 m; sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
; D6 _6 _7 U8 |4 M& nYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

4 Q) C/ W. ?6 {2 O$ y+ F/ v" Y; a2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 G+ k& X1 }! }9 z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# h" ]' D' J y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
