Setting Up Communication With a Viewer. v! I2 F4 c4 J2 G& `( N4 Q
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, S0 q# ^2 u E" h9 m# d2 ]
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- n8 z; s: v1 a4 T
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. j( C1 P* }/ _% P1 ~By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 ~- r) p; k8 }' p' S' yYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 R; |% s7 l' m. j
1. Open the viewer.7 f; J2 A4 z! U2 o
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( p9 l+ s v- `3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…: a$ A8 W* n5 T7 M" I) }
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
