Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 J5 J3 l. P& |* }" e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between: K' p# ^. V( X- ~! e2 C, u7 m5 {# u
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 P( N: N4 y3 ]% y* m9 MInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ T/ Q# y8 J4 O/ f
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
/ ~& L; y( o# d C; `/ ]You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% Z- s% g0 ~$ z, p8 w
1. Open the viewer.
" Q2 {: y* c; }/ b, B8 N" @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 m/ h" B3 A8 z' n5 J" z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 A! [. d/ L8 f
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
