Setting Up Communication With a Viewer& L+ f# h' t w; X1 T8 C, l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
t1 ?' ]4 F$ T3 G( Vthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
9 a+ R: w U9 IInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ s' b: j; J! W& C, |6 J8 u
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.( f! i$ i8 n5 A. c
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
, N3 c4 Q" T, U+ L3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
