If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 B x1 P" j4 I( S- Y8 t8 i; z% ?
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
- [$ _2 E. _9 @4 L5 jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ W B( k- D( w" D" ]2 zBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
t( f# }+ s! EYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' Q) @. n! z9 ^" x
1. Open the viewer.) |% f9 Y; J( _* m( j
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: d2 z% \) x, p7 s
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% @* D) L/ y9 U) z2 i1 v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
