Setting Up Communication With a Viewer0 q' ~% I4 |% Z- ]
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* Y0 H( t* |9 ^% H/ p
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& G9 E, X7 E& e6 AInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* i* l) b% N3 @+ x% N9 W( TBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
9 _! ?; }' H. UYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ g. @) z( Y* V0 ^8 w" S+ Q# R1 K1. Open the viewer. V f/ v4 m7 `. X3 ]! z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.) Z4 c4 l: e$ v8 Q. _
