Setting Up Communication With a Viewer _. {5 e! p+ L3 B
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* O3 ?. @, a! A2 Y# H
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
8 n8 n4 z/ ~# _% lInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. |8 x; H, i, l% e ^# r: `4 gBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! k: Y9 R( _+ @
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 L, L3 e$ _* @9 t3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 O) [: s- Z* j+ }6 w+ @( z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.' j% Q6 b2 v! g2 Z* p1 Q
5. Click Connect.
