Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# {6 _1 f" H+ r6 K W- m: l/ LIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between- x/ `0 Z m6 p+ F, M
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre$ b, n& W% G! U: l
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.6 p! B' V& G% Z2 K7 D
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
% R* L+ u: g/ R! MYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 w) p" r7 H9 Y8 P1. Open the viewer.
) L; ^! Z. Z. A5 ?2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 [0 z/ O7 x+ z+ A; r" {) }$ s& N) o: }
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ {- a0 `9 v) N- v3 i
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
