If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" E3 ]( ]# H& k. j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 Y6 ?, v1 q" f
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 k, F+ v6 n6 \) V' @- F
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ C3 u; O( g- @2 `, V$ F" O
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% P3 M! n! e+ o, j2 j& Q- d7 ~1. Open the viewer.
0 b' @9 e$ \8 e/ n2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
