Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 y4 }# R( }* C2 c4 I
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
+ s0 ~9 \9 _2 n/ Ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
+ L2 e1 ]: @6 S3 v+ TInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 w: T: L' u; l
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! v8 a( e) o8 A, L0 N- z, T- W
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:8 L6 j$ M' ~# S" t3 q( [' b1 c7 d
1. Open the viewer.4 x! y/ `4 Y+ i% s( J9 O9 c& `) l
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) l* ^8 _) f, e$ N5 d0 \. w3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. r1 z- Q. `4 m3 Y3 M
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.% S9 A" j9 m( ?6 X
5. Click Connect.
