Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 i( I% \& p: n% f- _0 O& S* L
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
; k/ I7 \/ Z+ {& Q# z/ Zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 X3 x8 n/ B8 h, X0 a- _# ]5 N9 ~
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# V2 M8 X& W/ mBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.3 o( n8 z+ R, X- _; K
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:. r$ N7 H& ^+ h# q+ [7 T% r
1. Open the viewer.: D+ H K" G3 {, E. E2 y/ x) j
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
# o3 J4 k" B( w. R( o3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 a3 i; m0 @4 l) @7 W* z2 m4 I
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.- ^3 D6 W0 |; K8 D4 [, r
5. Click Connect.
