Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
6 M8 ^& l, M2 ]' M" A: qIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
. u* k3 i8 G1 Z2 U, G* \, q8 ythe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre1 D; w% f" }4 i5 S9 `: W S# c
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; M+ ~/ T9 T# k5 ]1 aBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
" c8 p1 J# z: }. \You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

) I4 W0 l8 b' r2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
