Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
& f. q3 t3 A7 J, }If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
: ~2 H7 T& J0 D( e& zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' f1 ~" `+ C3 U m$ v
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
3 _8 z7 ^/ h; E% w U% h f/ T4 zBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ V) x: s4 R( o! k; j
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
- _' F2 W/ M* x& U1. Open the viewer.! I1 y2 y6 w. p! A& r, w+ U1 `
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) J) ~4 M2 C9 X
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# v8 c6 u& k6 ~0 ?, H- e6 B4 I
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* Y. O# \6 ~/ I1 X) ~3 L
