Setting Up Communication With a Viewer+ B3 ?( h/ W/ X, I
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 E8 u/ Z0 ^. i0 g. M3 Z7 K' w/ W" G
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) q9 g7 C: a g9 r2 j1 YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: m/ L& e* J$ S( W4 \( eBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
) s" W2 e3 B! t5 n$ m5 F2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened." R. O/ s6 H/ C5 J
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
