Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
3 ?9 M9 x. @: ?7 C2 `* M6 X" MIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' }( S5 I& o! N8 Wthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( p1 l& w8 t4 V$ s8 ]( w1 M
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets., |1 A, h1 u3 K9 G. }
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# n6 q; N" U3 R5 T$ n3 ?You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
/ J* }" i5 i0 i& s: M) s" C$ \# I1. Open the viewer.9 `( @' R+ q! U" u& P/ ?1 s a
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& r, K$ K, p0 |3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
