Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
" Y$ S4 l; a$ n7 W" J# Y2 {: \- m, eIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
# D @. B3 x- C1 o/ ~' T, {the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- j$ y& h4 J5 P! d/ F
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% k1 \/ D1 k/ g8 N9 I7 `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.6 ?) P4 G/ {. E! T3 O& D
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.% V& Q2 @4 B; d d
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
