Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# |. Z; S, i& L; j' n6 |+ a7 wIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 _: p+ X' g6 |8 K9 @# o( C
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
5 ^1 A, Q( r8 w# q+ FInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) ?& [* ]* x: kBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! l- K4 p/ j* u' W, IYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
z, {* ~ T1 R, W0 b1. Open the viewer.
3 ^) X6 s! ~6 ]6 K2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.5 c% Q* n% i& o+ E
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…& b; F, S- P8 {. l! u
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
