Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. O4 P, B/ U1 t' z; XIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& b4 q) ]; }, O3 j' v
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
6 h& T8 M! M3 c* u' z& rInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ J Y' Q+ j- `9 Q
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

7 f, l6 g. ^7 q& H: p1. Open the viewer.
% h K1 h3 M4 O7 K5 C# _6 W+ L2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
! C- W6 ?, r5 e2 Q3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
4 s9 c: ?* \" }6 ~- R4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
