Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
2 ]2 o5 ]7 I1 u) A& m- ~If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
# T9 w2 z8 j( e0 d9 M; k8 @3 gthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre) a }& N8 g ]$ F G
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
L) B! h \# L: [3 x: tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 v& Z' n# f' j2 }+ z. YYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* Z0 I, l3 S4 j+ `1 S x1 n1. Open the viewer.
7 F% x) P$ B1 ]/ n9 U' x2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& p( B& ^. h+ E- O& U" U. E
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 F1 | |" q! V
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
