If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! y$ P0 r9 A/ j5 t. [! r& P7 i& {
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
/ k' }; H! Z$ L1 c( [, t: ]Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
, T8 r1 g) O, k. i9 ?3 iBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., |, G) K s2 b t0 P2 k$ }
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:9 v: c9 X6 X8 g7 i
1. Open the viewer.. W6 w; S* u/ u7 o4 d5 ?4 v
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! O+ ?' ]4 c+ {7 L5 y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…: i/ U1 v* [8 O. M @- Z n' h: U
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
