Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
1 I& r$ d, g ~9 b: L8 _- eIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ F# h j* C" s* l
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre8 e5 h- z+ ~3 x9 w* e5 U& }
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.9 I' o# ~/ c- X
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

+ A8 Q2 A7 V7 ^8 N3 i1. Open the viewer.7 M2 h9 A% ~, m _0 V2 [8 z/ S/ s
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 s" q4 I# k9 t( F& c$ U3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
