Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 E. V5 c. X# T6 {& ?) dIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* I$ l" j% q( `( X0 S& A8 B# u
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
/ b& Y( Z% O" f1 x( {+ a: u" r8 SInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
1 V x* q/ M2 b( QBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# l$ k4 e; l- Q- m5 E3 RYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
$ P( B" u. T5 T* @, K" ]; c1. Open the viewer.) M0 Q/ Z ]. \* ^4 E
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
b' L. r* f6 G, Y$ K' _9 e7 q3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
