Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
& c6 c) c5 l5 ?If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
2 x! p+ X8 ^# V, C0 H% X. mthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: W% C4 F' e4 d( ]
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 s9 P O+ G4 G* v4 d$ c9 T9 p H
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ [) @. m" `3 z D8 {
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 V3 r( q. Q( G0 k0 {
1. Open the viewer.
5 A5 s' C; G/ H; }- h2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
: @) v8 ~# D! ], v4 _3 B# o3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
