Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
4 q9 B7 _3 k+ @If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
" X2 s0 V& m5 C2 cthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 J; \" H' D, a& MInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% \0 A' P* S3 ?8 o( _4 l! h% v
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
$ w3 S8 j2 V& x0 {$ v+ q$ r1 ^2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.7 t8 {$ }8 n, P
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! n) _1 q: C; _ N
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer./ z) O, S0 _* V( T+ t% ?
5. Click Connect.; @4 {6 J, O: X2 c, c/ }
