Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
5 B8 N6 \# [7 K3 Z9 FIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
$ ?/ m( e1 O% H; C8 X1 athe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 ?+ S- {$ P/ C1 }- a, z+ A% x
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 Q" q0 @! C$ x* j5 R
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) _2 a5 F t0 r, c! I* `8 DYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 l- d' C% {( {$ F- O
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
