Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 N+ z, z g& i4 X
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& t% Z6 x; ^* K( z* S$ s$ y7 mthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& L5 y& t2 X: A- VInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
/ i6 }) ?" e0 W% v0 y ]/ X% LBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
% C4 a" M* n, _You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:8 g- K4 k `% a6 |" z5 ~8 m% {
1. Open the viewer.7 B5 V. L- l6 q
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
8 I8 e4 a1 B9 ~, U4 Y: R3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ k; h1 J: _# `! I2 T
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
