Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' L( m8 [% @2 _ L" S1 ]% v$ R
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 b# m4 u9 s- |
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
8 y1 j" c, {; m: z+ HInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.9 g: h; Z+ z0 }/ I# T! _
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
, D$ E; M6 G4 P! f3 H9 Y' k! B2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! t6 A3 a) I& i3 c" K: d( }" e
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…5 Q. f) R, S" r- d' d$ |- \/ c1 h' h
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.6 i; D% Z* ^2 T3 }5 n
