Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
; _& L0 W: V# C2 M; Z7 |1 @If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, d+ c& ~- U: E% V; | z" J
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 T. y" \! r+ N8 K- }" nInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 l$ B8 `) B& ]4 a5 J0 X6 H" i; KBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.9 n; Z2 k/ G% ]) X/ @
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, }- l; L: k, E9 U& N+ F1. Open the viewer.5 M, |6 V% s- h+ O1 A0 P3 G) U
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
/ ^/ e( k9 O; K8 X5 i7 p3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
