Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
^* e8 I( A0 Z1 A8 |If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 C3 O1 z# W, hthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& Y# u/ @8 }0 }1 F# QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ D: S" T& c B
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

) _; e, w( G' I5 ]2 f: P$ Y; _1. Open the viewer.
% j' v \2 s- t7 d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' O; T6 T( |$ ^
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
