Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
, S0 V7 _ r8 H/ p! l& }4 BIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 q) S1 ^" o$ @4 h. F7 Y2 K4 Nthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
" Q$ E& J! a- B$ V. gInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.- R3 |, H- z4 t" w2 h/ B
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic./ z8 ^ r" s* M/ h
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 z( N$ v6 H8 O: X( R% j1. Open the viewer.
) h. r* k# H2 ^2 o* |0 [2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
8 w6 Y8 H- V- b; w2 Y; g5 M3 o2 j3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
