Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( I2 p3 u; c" I4 D
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& J# R4 y+ A2 {the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 \3 y; c4 Z1 J: G( `9 A
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 l. q) z- @3 r
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.# ~5 f2 R( G0 n8 Z* ]" h
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:3 E Z8 v/ R5 d0 w" @0 o
1. Open the viewer.3 k) r; K4 d. P3 i4 w
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
/ D2 f9 H3 u2 E0 C0 f# K3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, i" K' N; h* v2 B1 V
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.9 {8 ?: b$ }+ t* @) n5 x9 `! J
5. Click Connect.
