If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, u* F- m8 Z( {$ v$ _the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre4 G" R3 E' H) b- c# ]
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
' o, k; Q9 s" a7 K' B& nBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 v% x9 [2 x" X6 q, w
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened., `3 r/ O: v3 \& B
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…2 A2 ~1 |% S' q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.! j5 B( Y) R3 w! A% R
5. Click Connect.0 u8 ^, L( u: t; w) G
