Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
- G9 P+ J+ T# `7 A; C/ dIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between7 i! S! ~* G) W2 e" e, j9 P+ p
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre4 O. U( d, m8 a2 s- T5 X U
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" B7 R7 {1 L1 b4 cBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. V2 ~8 x2 |/ F3 _9 Q8 n
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:! j( J9 e' `* O* P3 g; N1 [
1. Open the viewer.
' ?! J. P q5 M5 ~( i2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
* t0 ]! x% C, B0 R ^! v% d3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
