Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; {6 l% Z( N t+ Q# _& p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 a) j/ g/ X! w! d( a8 M+ Y2 V7 T
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre% j# {+ O. k r R& `6 q2 O) Y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) m+ L" q L6 D5 F; UBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ w$ G4 n5 u7 C& K8 {
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 l* T$ w, L8 q7 B# Z7 m
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
