If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 }+ a0 a; A* W- Wthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' E4 |# q& I' ?
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.: X* v9 G/ U H
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
5 T0 U+ |( t+ o* b AYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
8 Z7 d8 K8 Z; H4 |4 r9 T# U, ^1. Open the viewer.
8 E9 c+ n$ t% D2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 k' [ E0 H- B* |, p# D$ z3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
