If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
8 m6 T. o3 [. @- _. F: W8 ithe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 m6 D0 U( V0 ?3 _' xInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ k& V" y$ w! t# m$ bBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' q$ ?" R7 D* m0 j7 N
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

# |& T3 p: k% @- g8 g0 M) g0 w/ z2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 V) R) A+ g* `( R$ {7 F
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
4 P/ L- H) b8 I2 q6 I/ H4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
