Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 q1 J- h0 |0 o
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between u, J( K2 P' D# O
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# ?' w7 Z- v( ]; a9 O9 }3 |# Q
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 N6 o* @9 ?! V* ~1 {: Y( A6 mBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* W$ Z0 T( b l2 d
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
. o/ D, Y P4 t3 L; b, }1. Open the viewer.
+ F$ S2 X- a/ {6 }9 {2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
, ]3 ~/ L: o# ~: i3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
