Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; `" R2 l- _' ^* t0 q
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, {( x# B/ L1 `: Z" s, w, Q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
/ g$ W# n6 u# J# R& [Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 @0 y) i- I, t2 {' X- i' y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., h0 ]2 Q. A) [( F, V; I9 j; r. x
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

3 ]2 h& z: A+ M1 S6 e- @9 o+ W+ S2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' s* c }9 G9 L1 w( u: P Y* S& z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…0 f8 d3 f/ w1 P- |
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.: ~0 B( l! [5 r" R( \& M4 n2 }% T$ r" O
5. Click Connect.
