Setting Up Communication With a Viewer+ u( Q# n* \" {
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 r5 m) G& x( `% I* h; _
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' w: |4 L7 d8 g3 ]4 n0 _ FInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- |; R8 R7 q% a! T1 NBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
3 Z# K7 u7 _8 v% yYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* N! ^' R( c' S5 v+ M$ U+ _6 u
1. Open the viewer.
]3 Z8 H0 v, P2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
3 V4 k4 o+ s7 G" F+ b ]( \, t* l3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. H' b4 Y2 n- u+ y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
