Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. R! R) J) y" E# IIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
1 Z6 b$ z4 r% h$ Vthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
: f" {( o, e- O" T. S: p' pInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: F3 b( h V4 @By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 u9 e% ~& T# ~( O
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:" Q N5 _4 V' u; K4 H" W
1. Open the viewer.# x/ T1 \9 U" ~+ b; }
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! ^; b+ M y! \
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…; i% h7 I" W* n x C, [
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ G" a# z1 @: X
5. Click Connect.& O+ S# {% ^( A1 v& ^. o# {
6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
