Setting Up Communication With a Viewer1 M) U% N7 L) x8 S4 E
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 ~: M; L# u/ z" V) W% b4 i
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre1 @* o1 t/ M" y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 k, h8 j. e* r; I& R9 EBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., I+ K% F' H& B+ u+ ~* X1 r( W
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* |6 j. a, y( I8 O& N- S) k1. Open the viewer.
. T: K* O5 K% B9 k b2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
; J- \% b# B" J0 W, @3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
$ W% j9 W3 `0 M' u. c5 @4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
