Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 F G( r4 P1 V
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
: Z% W/ D, I& V# L- C1 cthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* U* P1 a- Q+ c9 P8 g& v- DInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; t( s/ i$ Y: {! L
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
; y: U! V4 L% X! t& B# `2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
E0 u" q9 M2 `$ a* f8 f% J3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…4 Y9 Z( n: C. {3 v3 w2 ?
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ E/ u! l' _8 n
