Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre$ d( t$ l5 d, q' \4 L }9 f8 [; T" R
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# }) N) o) e& ~1 n0 w/ V# `5 |
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.: W; d6 Y# Y6 t; u
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; s0 R5 ?6 u* K- l( J: Q
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ v+ y8 W5 }2 d3 ?
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.' x: Y5 N, I% B8 [& G
