Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
1 W8 y1 J* ?; f j ]" zIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( j8 |; d" ?% m8 E
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; }/ M+ K( C4 t
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 X4 a( m1 q0 ^. C0 V3 ^( sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

% ~& M/ R6 s: ^% F: t- Q$ n$ n2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& C/ z0 E! t! g( B' G' P, L
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ N( \4 W# j9 R. |4 u d6 n( f
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
