Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ j) I. I- F" A( `' t% Y% h
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# |4 i6 j/ I# F; ?/ H* G* v' u D: NBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
- M- m- T- Q4 O* n" D- N1 @You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:8 n$ \9 t" H* [1 {
1. Open the viewer.0 T; s1 Y% ~; g" a8 y* O
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
7 I7 U: H8 o- b. U8 z7 ]3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
