Setting Up Communication With a Viewer0 |' C. a) X& R% E! H0 Z) J
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# ^5 m. g$ S [) l! e5 d+ k7 m; t! Z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: ~$ x8 O5 s N
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: @% y/ V" K- [7 tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
, W9 W' }: Q [ ~: VYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
- C/ ^+ B1 C5 M$ L2 D1. Open the viewer.
5 x7 N* p0 E6 P5 @6 N i6 F5 J% P2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
# f) T* N( O! i( e3 n* N9 {' b' B3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. ]! C, G( L8 z" c+ ^4 r3 C
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.! a( U* H& \2 r3 q2 i9 h
5. Click Connect.
