Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; s6 K3 G: k5 }0 h: A& ^% t7 ?% e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# t& `/ F& G" |2 C
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 f1 p b" k2 O* _& A' w( XInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- u; M- ^5 Z, L* h" R# w" {# E; QBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
- P; a6 g, A8 |# X2 C3 v; \You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# v- ^' C' m, S) h: S
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 g% r' z$ j* l4 A' G3 M
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* o. z. E b. @" A0 m* \
5. Click Connect.
