Setting Up Communication With a Viewer3 ~+ V+ Z! ^7 [+ v$ Y! W
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 p8 U: o( N- v% Ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 b# O' c3 s6 p& V( i* e N6 QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 W' s; [( O vBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
! x, R/ r% r' n5 F2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 |8 o: b, }9 c3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
& w) u& W- Q# s) }; z' O6 y4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
