If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 P* W+ @9 |4 {% U
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* q1 v' } ?8 [$ hInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.3 y; L" n( \. @0 W
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.: Q8 S- p' O1 v" l0 j3 l+ M
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:( e- c" M5 }9 H+ J0 l( p
1. Open the viewer.9 q7 B; O% [ {, c. p* C( Y7 d( N$ f, T& N
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& E0 @- p7 r2 X; w% ^) l
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ s0 c n" t+ [7 |2 J2 m# T
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
