Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 g, U* w: H8 S4 O9 L
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
: w y( j+ F% G; g4 ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( m: J9 c$ {3 R: q( y/ Z+ {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 {6 e# m: D% P/ }
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic./ z% R8 U' |# P& _, u$ N, ^) W! O6 `6 _
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; G8 U% X' {2 J! L! s5 P6 q
1. Open the viewer.
' t& _9 t3 ]$ c) J2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
