Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; O; U. @% h& \1 J
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
! F; \$ O0 t' _' othe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! Y/ Q- H: O5 m$ h
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets." q6 D0 n; O5 g9 P" c0 Q! m
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 p! x+ E% j1 ]! {You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ }" d6 Z. S$ ^& I; V$ J# s
1. Open the viewer.) }9 V6 m) }$ G, r0 ` y& J+ J6 R
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.2 R8 }8 Y/ | }
5. Click Connect.
