Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' t1 l# ^& w4 h1 {& U& R
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, Q4 r b4 d R, w) m: B6 d' t$ O Vthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* F* e& S I0 j, V
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 l: N6 S/ k9 x( k6 Y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) i" b% P; _! e% g; Y, jYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& \6 T+ s; u- R* W0 D; B- K
1. Open the viewer.) F4 b0 O! d$ L; d3 f
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened." B: ^" Y% i4 |, ?; p
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…& C# ]1 a: C& ?
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
