Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
& A5 g4 i0 `7 GIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# i, \8 W" }* F+ t# w
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* b" B8 M: J/ N. D- t1 wInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% T2 x: _ T! x- T
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
7 K8 H" b* r9 z) ~9 ~You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
7 B B$ \& e/ {1. Open the viewer.
# S! h# K- Y2 _2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
8 D0 g0 y& G- @: ]# I3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
