Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 A4 ?: t. X9 s0 ?
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% e! H+ F: t! a9 P8 H* L
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! e' w. b3 @0 w6 a% t1 Q7 |
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:7 p0 H( g: i- B" i
1. Open the viewer.7 G6 E# t. ?8 Q) R: h
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
% J2 Q- Y% ]: U6 v4 N9 \7 U3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
