Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* P' S4 [1 B, t# \
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between3 h O4 y- H( ?% x* n
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 P4 T* o6 f7 K+ z+ y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; `* n0 Z8 Y3 R; P5 V/ }( D. P u
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
B4 M! [ I6 h- L8 hYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) y1 r" R1 Y- N
1. Open the viewer.
# Q; f# \8 d, y* K. O" W- `- ~2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" q! `5 B- F1 x" ~* f0 M( ~3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
' O, Z8 J, B+ B7 D% X' Y6 K7 _4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& }1 w& |& z( k
5. Click Connect.
