Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
- {5 M1 Y y, G% J% m% DIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between- T4 u# N* R2 V' j" @
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* ?5 P& l# {2 U7 WInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 F& e2 i9 I2 P* CBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
( q; F$ q; h& @- u! l$ `% T" w" kYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 J# k8 M- \6 h1 G1 ]+ y7 w9 V1. Open the viewer.
' c) n, Z; h) I# | {; I2 M2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.( Y- a% H/ y) x. P
5. Click Connect.
