Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 e% |4 H& y- }/ I# N
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 m/ b. {9 f, A5 {; X
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( T: ]8 L3 W( o5 ^% M% \# `& a
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.( o5 r( F" }( W1 ?9 u# k- i
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
; h5 W! H! [3 y& v- H5 o& LYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* B' T+ S- U/ M, i: E0 E9 T J7 e
1. Open the viewer.$ i. Q1 g' e6 k7 k& e
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
9 Y: N& J5 q) X- M i3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…1 q( e( i+ I, |, _" ~; h9 \8 ]
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
