Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
8 ~! Y' d* a0 u$ {% \If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 V' K2 v, @" W
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, Q# ^' L2 w' ?2 \/ ~Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
/ d3 k' j5 w8 R# N2 x4 B1 fBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! ^- T1 c% h6 W3 C2 }
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
; I3 f \8 d: p1 o1. Open the viewer.
: S8 N% ~4 [' y( k+ @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ F3 M! d, T2 J6 x% S8 ^: X
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
/ A& v; X* G- M0 u5 X. k4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
