Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 n8 O# g- t" A5 E
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between7 }/ D; T9 \+ O" |
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 @8 c! p# z4 c3 w1 m. Q N
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# W7 P+ Z% y' [+ d4 F6 PBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.; h& f- R" r% Z( Z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* _" `3 W! T. A6 Q1. Open the viewer.: n7 W1 j! s/ r- M
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
