Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
& K8 S* Z0 {9 d9 wIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
( u! S% d- l( c8 n' Y. s+ n/ Hthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' T1 y8 F8 t+ n7 B r. G$ IInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
! K& k: g& [7 M3 l" ^) dBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
8 }" m) p( N U' Y1 v1 L( D. wYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, [* _0 r$ X: }* B: C1. Open the viewer.0 s9 E3 d7 _8 V# O- O. M! G
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

* t0 x+ K! b, Y4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
