Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 {& J S4 D0 ?* {: z* S
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
J. I- `6 d- V6 ^3 gthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 O4 L* c! G% w r. l
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.: m3 z; Q# l3 i6 y( i) R
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
% t) g: G0 s0 n4 d# e# K, V3 y* xYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
& H) z1 }# A' U9 `/ a1. Open the viewer.' m4 p2 z9 w+ B1 T$ [, b
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) ` B* L- y2 A6 b b. Y1 o: o4 m
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" N( s; X% f0 ~$ W+ G8 \) Y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 C V# z- f' B5 ~% i0 [0 m
5. Click Connect.
