Setting Up Communication With a Viewer" _* j" z5 V1 v5 _3 j5 U
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
; t8 c+ F8 Z: @7 _1 Q, N- @the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& J/ ~/ t. Y f1 ]7 qInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 V" o9 c5 V7 L( v- E" [* X) B6 ]8 ?+ d
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
* Q8 z) a7 K M TYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:! y! B# W* i9 H3 o
1. Open the viewer.# |5 t- |6 Y7 u* U+ o
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" o: J S+ t; }+ t3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
