If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 A; g8 [1 V8 T1 E: i, i
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
: K9 A- X% r- I) Z: b- V. j) ]& JInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 I1 }5 z! f1 e/ O* a. L
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& V6 P5 S- p9 J3 L1 S$ [
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
. ?+ E6 i2 ^# v1. Open the viewer.+ \, \2 \+ z7 c3 N1 N
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
: b# p) n) P( ]" K& f& R3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, P( {/ W0 a4 Y" K* f6 Z; Z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.3 N ?) O1 n2 a' n* g' M) D
