Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# O+ T6 O3 `; t5 AIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
" v, b2 G. G- t6 N# Bthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; P/ r& k9 e( O) W: L, S
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( E! l2 T# S( q5 [6 N9 rBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.9 b3 L% C4 X" h* k/ J0 R
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:! q9 `6 \9 q, ?* w5 `# z
1. Open the viewer.4 S) s" q9 x1 P8 S3 L' N" Y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 Q/ t$ ]& k; X9 I
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 \* f3 y& {9 M7 P$ A. \
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.$ a1 C- l) }. F# j7 }, F- K9 w
