Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 l4 a% u- q# l" r* X1 u
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 P3 m+ i0 g5 n2 k! B& {/ Zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! x: _$ I& L+ \6 P) D: z' k
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets." w0 W% `7 `% Z" l7 i! t
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
P8 Y% U1 V2 ?6 `# SYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
4 N" y' B( c1 l1. Open the viewer.
. J* N7 n5 M0 b. E1 O/ g2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
0 e8 R% y( j) ~3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…( |; |+ z+ w+ Y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
