Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
8 z" X5 Q4 Y& |# i& LIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, [! U' K* x8 _5 h3 `( x3 P
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( }; M+ o3 N8 r g7 d& v* W. qInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" ?2 h% f- p) j8 SBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.3 t* p g( `% D% b
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
4 l" l" D( }+ m7 l6 g% n3 P1. Open the viewer.1 K- r: f$ b- y- Y3 _: h" g! o, G
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.$ G# } S7 t% G9 z, D
5. Click Connect.
