Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
" G: W! f- o* X% v, B0 sIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* }1 I( g F; b% {
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! c* H1 k) L M. z* g
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
2 a4 x, w& S9 s2 e, D A8 p& wBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' z$ C g: y" z1 m1 v' ?/ _6 p3 [
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:- l0 q9 c4 x8 F1 W G
1. Open the viewer.
1 U( U/ F4 z, y1 c" C7 x) V- [6 _! E2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# |6 ?, Q" {! J R
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
' r( Y. v, Q: S% R4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
