Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 _$ N1 i- W m- o. _If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& p2 }; |) S' b. o N9 e9 Bthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ w5 l. V+ N7 m, X' |) xInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% |- ]4 z% I# w. I4 V
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' \" ?, f7 Y* l
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, H) n9 N+ R. ?6 I! m1. Open the viewer.
- m; Z. N8 I8 u: m9 r! [. O0 S/ z2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) ]; N3 m4 j% Q0 P. J* } C5 d3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, y7 b% J6 c8 a- o Y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.( q4 c; @/ f# {$ j7 }1 X2 _+ \* }
5. Click Connect.
