Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 e3 y2 @$ ~' o4 |+ T$ }0 S
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& P# ]( S& ]9 K5 O' a' W% Tthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' _9 A4 m6 p) O; p" QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# i# P0 b2 S& w6 R7 N$ Z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! L4 N3 H/ i- j6 t8 f- Y! H9 \
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:: \9 t6 n" p' S s
1. Open the viewer.* S% p; W! U7 M( E. a( j
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.% s( v- J- }9 u2 R+ X
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! K5 N9 n) m* ~9 {# ?
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
