If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! O, o+ H; G7 c3 I8 k$ S" Y
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
7 ^* P( v3 U% B) x* P, J4 yInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 H' R' M* d6 G+ I4 H) W
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* P3 B7 S( J4 j' X& O$ U% w, O
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ e* C0 t. E# r& q0 {5 w9 d1. Open the viewer.
8 e4 _: T7 o) k' j8 J S) t8 R2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
