Setting Up Communication With a Viewer" }! G1 b8 M7 C; }' L4 S: U8 I1 H
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
0 {8 F1 @! n# @0 ]- athe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% [9 G: q" J# y5 ]' KInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" V2 a2 b1 H" JBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.+ Y% i* ]& y( p7 a( Y& F4 X+ E
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% V3 H0 e% }5 f9 { u8 k! W; @
1. Open the viewer.
% k/ P! L3 X" h. X2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 _% g$ A, L4 C3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% |- i) ?+ M6 E
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.' R) _# E/ q, S$ U6 f( f4 `; @: W* ?! c
5. Click Connect.
