If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 k/ ~2 t; e9 i$ F! l& n( z$ ^: H
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
! ]# L% ~ @. GInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 U) S' v- k+ V+ L' F
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 u/ I+ G7 R G
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% W9 S# G4 t3 J) h1. Open the viewer.
+ {3 i% @, r, _! B$ K2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 b* E, I. }" G2 f+ a5 G
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…0 a" U$ L/ \1 E# N! A: I
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
