If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
4 t( z7 ~$ w) g* z( A. V/ L# I4 ?the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre1 f5 `4 g, b9 N1 ]' r+ j1 I
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets., u# B/ G) D8 v2 ?3 V5 ?
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.- N9 e) Q! G, k* e' b. Z. Z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:( n' B6 D# V8 t& p
1. Open the viewer.4 A* {, S3 t$ V1 |
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
! `$ v# o! G: d9 I" j0 \2 ]2 r3 I3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ C- T- L6 x+ e+ Z6 @+ N" G9 g+ J G" I
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* R+ X: |' R5 B1 i( a7 D* b# _; ]' F9 K
5. Click Connect.
