Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ s3 |& b& s9 Z; N+ I; r+ jIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 ]$ `. x) o7 M4 m0 jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: G5 ~2 Z9 G& D* I, S" w
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 v1 E5 Y: g" d5 Y" E% P6 s) i9 YBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

6 ?; G! ~! {5 n. y1 H4 N' b* R5 Z2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. f, ]' x5 @/ `/ F E
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
