Setting Up Communication With a Viewer) W5 {; [$ J5 C; _3 f% D
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 c) I' U7 `1 e; L# f% X* i2 J
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 J8 w. D4 {; [9 \9 SInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ U, X* \8 g& M5 I& K7 s @& GBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
X, K- s: H1 u" Z( UYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:6 o; b( l0 r! J. c+ ]% H7 x1 ^
1. Open the viewer.9 O2 g& V2 Q6 z. Y/ P7 M2 Z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.2 S: N, w' |, F* x! e2 A N
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
