Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% T; q0 A6 Q- j# D
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 K H% A0 c. t- lthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre7 H' q: O/ |8 S2 L+ l) f
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; T7 O1 q/ p5 d W
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." e/ P1 n: X V7 e1 Y1 H- ?% K2 ^
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
& F3 H/ H+ Z- k1 S6 k1. Open the viewer.
$ j- D% i0 Q2 C3 e& T7 V5 m+ v# \2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' j" }# v* Q3 N- V
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
