Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
% t/ G6 O( g# x0 eIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 K. f! B% z( ?! a6 B7 A; j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
# ?) a' W, L* E" VInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.6 u. Y- t2 I2 \
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.1 ]) h5 O" }; }% k2 m$ u% W
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
' G1 _* o1 v$ {3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
