Setting Up Communication With a Viewer+ t" k( |% l! s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
) h6 k/ Z$ z( r' d! s& A& q( `the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( h- w( Y- W# Y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
1 s, a) p+ P+ F: b/ x7 `8 IBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
% J. z, F! ^8 R. e+ B9 TYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, l. J2 {8 @( H; `% F$ A& o+ `1. Open the viewer./ q4 X: P! C2 W/ C$ _/ ?
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
* v; F/ h# ^- `, Y4 ~- g# s/ Z3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
