Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
2 F- V1 R* z& RIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' @7 I" Q h! I {) M; Q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre A/ h) ^ _- K. j
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
7 U5 g" K9 G: f; i/ q. pBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic./ r9 @9 n. M/ {5 {# F k
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* X" r: N; W5 |, m% c+ M. |1. Open the viewer.9 l l8 `% s9 }" L% I+ O4 X7 }
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
