Setting Up Communication With a Viewer6 [) s6 F# i' z) ] l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between; ^1 G7 R3 }$ j, b
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! W6 s7 \/ \3 o
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) G: a" y! z( c4 V) R9 f
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.) L4 a# G. [( J6 s. R9 F
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:0 i0 P, K! E; u* G; c
1. Open the viewer./ [& [5 K. h/ Z6 N8 i/ ]: _3 z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 `9 e6 K% P) M5 P% S# M* W6 a3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, Y( S1 d- }6 I1 C! X. j
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.. T* r, x; A$ U4 B
5. Click Connect.
