Setting Up Communication With a Viewer- T8 `2 I' O" W7 x: E8 u8 z1 I. j9 D; z
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
: a# m9 e$ _- ~0 F) q1 {the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' `. }7 @9 k6 QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: e9 d$ K Z- u) d/ HBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ k' p8 U' Y1 i3 C/ K/ OYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 d6 b J9 O0 p5 q2 @4 T- {
1. Open the viewer.
, E+ c# A$ }3 a" u: @1 F: B6 A+ T2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
: h4 n- \) S6 C( ?9 Y3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! A/ B# {" W5 T o+ S' g" k) I
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
