Setting Up Communication With a Viewer& U( X( b: ^9 I* g# m" S- U7 v
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
E% _( B5 u" R5 V8 Pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' i* \$ Z" J7 `# K, ^9 V' OInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.3 `$ L& K7 k5 @, m2 P: ~
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ ^" G! P: Z" Z. L5 w- X3 q
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:- F. ^7 r2 d$ a/ ]% h
1. Open the viewer.$ {: s5 \8 L! P! N3 l
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

5. Click Connect.
