Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
/ A2 J9 Z/ r% a0 hIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between G7 s% m; B7 r, ^$ d
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( A- u& o- D9 a3 d6 i+ u2 m. q* V
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
, c" t! M% u, r: M' ?& {By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& l8 U# F& q1 C
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
) f1 A0 v h$ o2 c; t& J1. Open the viewer.
\4 b6 R/ n1 X0 B) P; t/ w+ s$ G0 N: W2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' s8 \2 f7 h- X" j! i O
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
" a, |+ U I! q/ q" I. t4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
