If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% [ }5 k: c# n& d: ^the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre. P- G7 ^5 D2 u0 e1 Z% O. Q- B
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% Z1 J+ I1 O8 jBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
* H7 ~) S; B: n# v* RYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:0 M$ N& Y% _# u* U O
1. Open the viewer.
& F0 \" |4 ~. L* U2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
' G- K E+ u5 F) d8 u( a1 S3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
4 M7 J$ A: s( `: v9 j* O2 x4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
