Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
) A. r/ l( Y0 U9 ~If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' ]( M) H$ ~6 }; g) y8 p6 [
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ y$ H' z5 X. f; S) DInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* W6 E- y, M' l8 D6 a. J. `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% f) c1 U* k' G3 m* N- b+ d' T" m9 u
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 x0 d$ m( a$ k1. Open the viewer.
( ~6 f6 p& |* I' c2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 d, c7 U' n6 c% w. W
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
