Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( q; p% h+ d) w( `1 [
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between4 q" a3 V; \; l5 v: n2 i
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* o" ]* c( b$ E) v$ _' vInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
' @# P/ G' { A9 Y* u% K5 \& iBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 N8 R: G# i o* M2 O! `/ _1 n+ J8 VYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:7 g, P1 p! b5 s$ r1 C, A0 e0 U! \
1. Open the viewer., U$ j4 R0 i- B$ }
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) T% S0 ~6 E- u7 k7 _4 j V0 T
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
- ?' }5 G, r6 P5 u4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
