Setting Up Communication With a Viewer- c5 a0 }3 m; d5 ^4 S1 P0 G* s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between; @5 S4 n( U6 p& e* G, k* D$ U
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) S/ Q+ y, c3 s% GInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 m6 q6 l8 A4 E. o8 OBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
6 S' X; V z. |. ~! tYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:( k. m e. H' W9 W/ J
1. Open the viewer.& _. `- x+ Y& G/ a% r1 d3 J4 }5 A% J
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& B# }& N) Z# k# n* N0 A3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ _7 F: [' u$ A" Q s" @; u) [
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& E2 q5 V- k' ]2 W2 k6 q
5. Click Connect.
