Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
+ a j: h% E. H1 FIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
; B1 V* Q q3 Rthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 C- R2 y8 H% Q2 X) T/ ]7 ~1 W
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# G, G9 } x! d% `* ^) |2 UBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& W( w) J2 V7 s- e
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:$ ]. s3 Q1 P; F
1. Open the viewer.
7 U5 E: _7 o& A9 H2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
8 m: [1 {( p& g4 P1 l1 j3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
