If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
. c$ |4 B, v5 L7 o6 Pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* ~8 c, r3 I1 g) B+ V) u
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 [9 }) P: v$ j; l) k3 Q
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
& R8 J Q2 N C! g( SYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:$ h) P- l, s/ S( {/ [8 E4 _0 ?3 [
1. Open the viewer.
( R6 c0 L( h: g% \% C# E9 N f2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.8 r9 _+ }% c% G4 [& b
5. Click Connect.
