If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between. W; T4 ^8 |( i {) I; S
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, A! \& ?- J, { @; N3 gInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- P' A: d; ]8 k8 `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' S! ~# S5 ]5 v8 x
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.7 m. z* @2 g' Z" l/ T: Q
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…* w9 K. K2 N1 l$ z7 i
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 _6 |; o: y* T; v. {
