Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: m2 N6 S' E0 Q) j! m! R% ~
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between3 ]4 T! y9 B/ B% r; E8 q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& ~+ r( I# }- ?Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
! }/ t0 a# e6 T/ m. C; l# tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
9 @! S! N2 u. ]# Z' N$ L) uYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, a1 b; y2 ^0 Y3 Y* a1. Open the viewer.# v' i% f, h C2 b, x4 ?
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
F$ u2 H% u; a1 ~4 S: e. r5 @3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
7 R% b! Z! E8 x8 T* X4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
