Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
! q& p; {# C: o! b1 lIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ U3 W9 r* i. s8 E! ?0 J3 o
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 j7 T5 @3 g, m y3 z2 jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.- v& J% w% R1 ]/ U( | t
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ b6 H; t% A+ g9 a6 AYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! |: g T( S" ?: P2 [" p
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
+ \% A+ F( k9 R4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
) u; N5 f! `& u$ s5. Click Connect.
