Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
* j$ p) M6 x/ I- { kIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 n/ h5 X: g& d2 Kthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ @ P! K& q, O- o; q8 u _: z
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets./ \! ]9 S6 K7 R' i$ f6 q
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' i3 A R% P+ m- E5 r8 i2 k6 t
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
! L# A6 e* [2 W/ i0 [% e" m. J1. Open the viewer.% _( W8 I9 _ ^' X# ]. x
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.( q7 q2 O- ^+ g
