If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' s" a/ O G, X2 r. ^& y4 Q3 Y
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 U) G8 b! |" F( M( z# r8 v% w" [Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
! X* s. e$ E4 U: M! QBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.9 ?' @. Z" {9 i/ \/ Q8 K) {
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 s+ M u# w- _, g. `2 O, q# J
1. Open the viewer.2 g1 h# A& Z2 e$ G
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
7 @" D" k+ `/ h$ }3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…9 W9 L% m$ ]- s% N _
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
