Setting Up Communication With a Viewer# `* H* J2 z# d$ l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* |# d* |/ W: Q1 z; v5 p; h
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre7 f3 ?& u" `% K: G5 u/ F
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 p: M+ `- z9 aBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
$ B% R/ N5 h' F& \You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* E) a: e. u( w1. Open the viewer." j4 E3 x5 A1 Q3 v% X7 b
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
6 `$ V# u7 l& |9 c. E" h" u3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
9 J5 A0 H0 e- E- E4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
