Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
! S7 |8 |$ q# x" KIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between) a+ \$ B/ M% G& n0 z% F; b
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ E- }. l. ^# |- }& ~7 Q
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 I; c1 h7 m7 `; o4 UBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.) z" m; @- b" J" h, k) }7 W
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
. v; S$ X* M' O8 O: O1. Open the viewer.
7 R6 B. N5 C" A8 A& b2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
9 I) }6 L1 `/ ~ U1 x: I3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
