Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ @% ^, f. @ u+ C1 W6 U% O
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between- M- \0 a9 p: \ n2 S
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
- `' s8 A! Z6 t6 [Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.( I, W% M3 ~! X" I, i p
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
; m' q8 P4 \# _( P# XYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ q/ U6 F, Q$ R m5 D
1. Open the viewer." t2 V6 n* M/ Y9 a) I/ ]5 W
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened. f0 e% H6 b1 o$ E
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! M5 ~ h {. G- H; [
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
