If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 \+ ]7 B% F. y- f! Wthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, \) p7 c5 i" [" ]Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.$ I# r$ [6 x- ^9 M8 d
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) O* P/ z% @% X3 f) lYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; B! U$ T8 u. G
1. Open the viewer.+ {6 g+ Q2 m6 o# f% n
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ F3 _) L2 q2 j3 B: _7 X3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ G/ @% V$ J7 ]% i! p" S( j: g
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.# V: M& Z) b0 C& W0 r6 U
5. Click Connect.
