Setting Up Communication With a Viewer! j% s. N3 |. \; O
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, j# Q& A O( l, Q% [
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre s1 _) }2 f; `& N
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) p. U7 h% E3 C9 ?
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
, n% U0 ?; h# IYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
) |* U4 w8 f9 E. j N1. Open the viewer.% c% x+ z% f$ \. f
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& g# q( B+ @4 M3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…7 K- R, ?$ `' G9 O
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer., Z" F* ]1 U2 t( _. N

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
