Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
; T- V1 k2 k# O% ZIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
/ w! a/ B; g" V5 Fthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre+ s5 s, m2 E8 v0 S
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
' |4 h1 u9 U' L' tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
7 V- u8 |; ]# |% T1 F- xYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
! q$ h ` ]2 g1 H" M1. Open the viewer.
+ _- g5 T' @# K" |) w* @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer., b! Y- r0 I4 P: P6 ~/ }- e
