Setting Up Communication With a Viewer/ F1 |% Y( x6 d
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
?) t& [7 O3 a6 R# N* Ythe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 b) P: n& c7 k( d3 w: E
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- N: ^) K7 Q) `5 hBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
( H; U- P4 O F/ b" E0 N# b: f/ }You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% w5 p' M1 {( K/ W3 G
1. Open the viewer.! X( z8 r; D% j; I' _. e0 @
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
