Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 d' {+ a. A Q$ R
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( k* }; T+ t" `. q7 c
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre7 l1 }' B. [! b7 s" X- S/ F" g
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 f! K& B$ d* N+ A% D$ Z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
9 m9 b& Z* y! k) Q1 w+ Y8 ]( TYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
- t9 i% z- [) q3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…' t0 @0 ?0 q+ v/ g: S$ W
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
