Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# x) |% M1 z% A7 s2 ~! V$ rIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between4 O8 d k- S" x1 W6 V* Y' n
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre+ z9 Z2 S8 \8 h* S: A
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.6 c1 Y2 E/ `1 U' H( s, ~
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.9 y( \2 y8 D$ L& B: z; [! S
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.: i% H/ g& z/ ^1 K( O+ B @) c
5. Click Connect.
