Setting Up Communication With a Viewer# X! V2 ~. Y7 {+ U. l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
B9 s, m6 X+ U& s0 w! nthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
- E, U9 J# U. m7 t! H" uInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& h6 C1 K1 G4 l- iBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 W3 d: R- C4 P) M+ b0 q, z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
8 u$ _6 j. i/ L4 ?0 r: W1. Open the viewer.
* A3 d- C, h" f' f6 V0 U# [# g O2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.( J/ { \& p( ^+ x: l+ `! y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. K: ^0 w# ]5 D0 y0 Q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer./ C: B7 Y+ s( M! j, k
5. Click Connect.. G' L: d ^, ?9 ?
6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
