Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ x/ P) R0 L Y& K7 y, [- E
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% E( A) N- Z! m
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
8 }$ T; e# Z7 O. CInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ O& A' v% A' m ^1 \1 ^
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* F$ c9 |6 ~% K% U7 H4 ?
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
; n7 W0 l$ [2 {/ b1. Open the viewer.
7 Q% x; E6 U+ d9 @) A" m' ^2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
! S; d6 n& f8 U5 M$ p3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, b. s; V6 q2 T4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
