Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, t* U' R) Y k( {8 j4 M* rInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" W2 b) N4 ^# TBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.9 @' @: u6 D+ t9 r0 l
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.7 m8 R) k& ?7 y
