Setting Up Communication With a Viewer" [) \) G2 k, N" N' m
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* Q1 t3 _- `9 w, L# b& n# o
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* L8 S& ~/ c- l" H' s$ l% t0 MInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. m0 w" Y7 h" q4 u5 K- oBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.( P( I1 A0 B8 a
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
