Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 o% ^: B2 r0 P1 yIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between S9 _3 \7 S: B1 Z' O7 f4 D+ n6 a
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 h) t. A/ u4 S! h# a5 G- mInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ @% p9 q' C) K9 H) g2 F- E- S Y8 K7 t
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
4 A. h( h) o. G, v4 R- K& fYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 I! M0 k$ X$ G7 h* C) B7 Y3 p
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…) q/ u2 v: ?! {) S4 ?+ W% e
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
