If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.- Q9 I9 q: Y" I" ?2 @, }
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% n! Y" q4 ^9 |8 a C+ D+ S
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' a+ [% s! o% U' p' ~# K+ U0 Y
1. Open the viewer.1 g& h% }7 l$ d
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& }# t. r2 W, t3 N% R8 T' B2 `; Y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…( E- r- j2 G: |" k
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
