Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# B2 ]! Q; H& AIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" F2 ?4 b/ G( ~+ M+ |% n
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 E( S4 z! a8 b/ p5 S8 zInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.* L' c2 S, o7 D* c+ ?1 T
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
/ g: s9 }8 X6 Z$ R Z; DYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! d# [9 H; f! |5 l p a# Q+ L
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
