Setting Up Communication With a Viewer4 a R8 t# T+ e6 X. p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
( j3 t: p9 Y3 _, Xthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' |! o4 k2 J( s9 [9 ~! e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& G$ w- [4 {7 J+ Q1 Q/ _
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.- O3 E. z/ S8 v4 ~1 \' y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 |* B) \- o* ^7 T/ k4 w: d$ C* w
1. Open the viewer.1 C A Q) K5 Z2 y% l. |
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
