Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 r4 c% K5 C! r9 [. d! q0 KIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ h! V1 m) `4 K; S) g
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
# D, K+ X5 U6 o) p1 dInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) _: t( C: x7 _; ABy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.+ P8 N9 A- E2 Y0 z, I2 C
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
. S2 ^0 n7 r) K* C, e0 A1. Open the viewer.
0 e9 m' `. L1 Q% Y" p9 y9 n) d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.7 X7 E- b% A! k4 ]
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
8 H$ X/ P( G! T5 k9 I% E4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
