Setting Up Communication With a Viewer+ Y: n8 t$ \/ W! B0 t' n" q
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* y0 [% Q! P% j E2 c0 A* b
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre8 V, X8 Q, l; F2 t9 f! r& W. I
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
1 @0 \) b' x; N# SBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.( v! r3 S+ Y$ ]. R
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* w' n. ~( e; e- }" Y" E! ]
1. Open the viewer.
) O! p4 O5 ?! I5 r1 ^+ h2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
# q, u" g1 Y" c4 i3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…& N* A; g; q$ `; v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
