Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* y1 ^5 u; _0 T$ P8 x% q
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between q% |" A" q$ R% ?* _1 U" M: `. u
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( N: [$ q$ t0 O* c, bInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# t: H1 p/ Z2 y4 s- zBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 k0 k( F" s7 {0 \2 d2 T' }/ u+ y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ N+ x) f( z, y7 N2 g5 M, K; M
1. Open the viewer.
4 F1 E* x- E$ C( [2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.4 v. d9 z9 s% y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…- s. e# E$ y1 D* i- @3 s
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
