Setting Up Communication With a Viewer2 Q2 Q1 c) c% x# d( t' y
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
F/ F# Q! d9 n, N( T, Vthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
+ i& {. P0 L5 \5 Q4 o) vInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( I" _# M8 V2 M- MBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.8 y# r: a s( {" s: G6 V
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& @! I: T4 i4 o7 z7 _6 C
1. Open the viewer.
4 ^1 l8 s0 ?1 L, p3 i7 |2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! X% Y- L, T) u# {# z# } e
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. x! \! l! l% ]
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* }/ b1 w. ]3 N2 t; D0 H
5. Click Connect.# J z0 F4 a H$ o
6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
