Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ e# {, L, u" n' EIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between0 O, h' ]& a: W. L* G8 r
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% C* Y9 b& \1 S' d$ QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* k" O* A" Q/ l6 {! A! HBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

% q' k. K1 p. B y- Q; b, Y: H2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.2 Z7 ]. w! m) a) c, h
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, C) g6 |9 e. ^4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* G/ z; I3 D+ g2 ^* R
5. Click Connect.
