Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' H% \8 b9 b* }/ ?
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between) Q T' F @$ q' {+ k/ q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( M3 b' G8 i$ t+ M. W$ S
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 Z: j: v/ b( G: [; a3 vBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
8 s- a2 Q F4 I6 b1 P- hYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:! j$ L& M" E; i5 |4 n* k% u ^) \! `% ^
1. Open the viewer.- x _( @: @2 w3 k
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# o3 @+ [6 q2 }% Y7 W/ m
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…& ]1 H. U4 R7 C5 |" c5 B
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
