If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# O+ S8 {# C/ |
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! ]6 W4 V: ?; V! @8 U
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" e+ f- m- f2 a, QBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ R- q7 m5 M) I$ O. s3 M" p. wYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:( p2 G' H( G) C7 j b6 |9 e9 i. A
1. Open the viewer.
$ T6 c* b. e5 `% z/ Z# |' d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
' v6 Z! O' |% t; e6 p3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
