Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: e7 |3 j# I4 R& g
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& U& Y3 E# K/ {7 fthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 D7 J C$ K5 S% l* E, PInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 f4 ?' r: O% }* ~' ^' F& k; g4 g
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
Q% q* K& f L0 i5 A- UYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' ^9 c1 w$ _& P0 Y/ q
1. Open the viewer.' T2 T9 \; O, z; ~
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( k. X1 N: V& P( o) J" t" [, N3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
