Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
E3 ~2 C+ K5 b! P9 S' SIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
$ ]# {# X1 j5 o! G* othe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 ]% \+ S9 m' @# c1 }0 L3 d/ S) UInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 u9 l( A8 o- _: K# _$ CBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! s* @* w9 k4 H) d3 ZYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:7 ]1 c: r+ Q+ B( V5 k" `( T' T# n# t( }
1. Open the viewer.0 q# ~* `+ H7 R3 C7 \% M! S8 |
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* i0 o+ A) A) ]! p% s: k
