If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 c* d4 L4 z) ?3 _9 S: a6 Athe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 b) S0 v: T3 ^+ K {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
$ o6 `0 Y7 ]* W) o' A" XBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.0 T! j, A( j$ l3 y" l0 E
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& E* q# j% R5 P, ]; \. O J
1. Open the viewer.9 C3 P _3 Y' V: g6 u
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. @7 m# \3 U; d3 z/ ?4 e& X q
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ y) `# {' Q7 N/ H
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
