Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
! L5 s7 n5 N) j# u, u# @# ]8 zIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 k5 J* s8 O6 R- F5 q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
7 N. }4 e; q# ?* k! I: H" YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 I' E* d7 {1 U, \; m* J F, s6 YBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
3 p9 g q5 |% ]9 ^( y: h! ^, x) L2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ `- E# `: p2 }
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
