Setting Up Communication With a Viewer, v* }4 _7 g4 I6 k( i! F, J5 B# A
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 F2 t9 S2 X- v* C& Q8 [; y0 Bthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre" k$ d0 F/ A! X+ b
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% _- F$ o; l6 s; t# zBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
. ]: k* s$ X2 U" PYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# G4 U/ w: ?2 s
1. Open the viewer.
8 d# E$ k5 e Z: e! B7 N4 [2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 n L$ _! w/ K, D$ q: y' S3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
4 m, T# _! r: u- Q4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
