If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between) x3 M0 | k3 S5 u7 W1 j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre7 M( h, I% d0 m& t3 P9 M# k; s8 I% Y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% V; M0 I# o, u0 t; ?9 e
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.# W" Y6 d7 ?. }: C- ?& p, ~$ ]7 _
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
g2 `- s8 a* S' w8 A$ o6 E1. Open the viewer.$ B1 Q, H0 i" I6 k9 F
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) N6 P, P! C$ _8 W! S+ v) V u& i: \3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…; ^% G3 T5 f8 m7 K) p( n& Y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
