Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% D# _ z# {9 P/ ]1 v8 P. T- l. d( O. a
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
b& _3 f/ V. E6 _3 V# pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' v9 `# b2 v& X& n# P
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# C# Y2 W4 o& H0 F" |. R0 S- NBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 [% u3 K q# V8 ~You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
$ w9 }8 N4 S {) S1. Open the viewer.
; l7 Z- f0 V9 `+ Y+ B' v1 D2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. j+ }9 a! O! r2 B. F7 Y2 c
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…7 K! g6 }; P0 y5 q9 C
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
