Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
) P0 ~% `/ ^. l `If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
; V4 U9 q" Q# V- ?2 _* nthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 B/ Q$ b; @& P8 ?
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 J2 P4 C* F. J! \8 A; M: w
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
) `0 r+ l1 m* S0 G2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 W5 _2 D. E4 V8 L
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…; P$ y6 {( A1 X2 m
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
