Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
: I# {! ~& t' V, @If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 a3 U- Z8 R8 v9 A5 d5 J8 {0 p3 wthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- m9 l) \; J( P0 D8 E
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.' V; B, `4 l+ R" y3 K0 l
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." Z" \' k$ K, }. G" R
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& ^. S: g6 K6 f+ b+ [, n; f3 N
1. Open the viewer.
) E5 e$ q8 e, D' t' W2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 s8 m: q+ m5 b/ w. O* [
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% H$ e" { f* a' K* K( G% z l9 v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
