Chip-Package-System Convergence
! g" ?2 W, T7 UOne of the key design challenges for IC and system designers is how to mitigate noise induced system failure. Managing noise interaction among chip, package and board is a major design challenge, which is further exasperated by reduced margin driven by the need to lower total system cost.
; G% i9 k3 f7 }6 N1 P' fIn this presentation, different examples are used to demonstrate the importance of chip-package-system co-analysis for power, signal, and thermal integrities. Presentation will include a consistent design flow and methodology from early stage prototyping to final design sign-off and failure diagnosis and debugging.
