  A1 k9 {2 x4 ?/ P) |) L所以之間都不錯 他們就問我有沒有想要來接FAE的位子

% z6 a. x7 B6 o3 a4 C9 U( j他們老闆竟然也說 ok  內轉想來就來壓 我一定說ok的 只要他老闆同意讓他來
/ G4 z3 @* ]* t, p* d5 c, ]雖然心裡當然是想 但是FAE是在做什麼我根本不知道
9 B/ v0 M9 T! b0 ^# x3 y9 _) i只知道要去客戶那邊被定(??  因為小弟只是私立後段的學士而已

要學歷沒學歷 要專業沒專業 英文也是不太行
去那邊不就是死路一條!  還是說可以過去那邊邊做邊學

& C0 P% t) L) M1 N原廠會提供參考線路及檢查要點，這參考線路通常都是由AE來設計，除此之外客戶
也會修改參考線路，所以還要針對客戶修改的線路加以檢查。
& v9 ~' A  T, k) b; H0 H6 y2.layout review
原廠也會提供參考的layout及檢查的要點，例如一些高速的匯流排及電源走線
7 t$ J  G, T) g* a4 u: P% ]3 ^都要特別注意，常常會影響晶片的性能。
3.Firmware/Software/Driver development
現在的IC公司基本上也要提供軟韌體的開發範例，這些範例也是由AE所開發出來的。

9 E: U9 t0 M8 T; G7 A教育訓練，原廠AE很多機會對代理商及客戶進行產品訓練及展示。有些時候AE也會與

IC廠會有許多的文件需要撰寫，包含datasheet，使用手冊...等，這些文件也是由AE

AE所需的技能：
1.學習能力
- C) s6 U6 t" b- v2 j根據不同的客戶需求，常常需要開發各種不同的應用，因此常常需要學習新的領域。
) E' o: P0 k0 _3 Y- \1 A快速的學習能力會是很重要的一個因素。
  A3 \' s+ P% a# H. E9 _2.溝通能力
! N! g; `* n+ ^; `& i. E) K不同於R&D，AE有很多的時間是在與別人溝通。對內要與sales, marketing, PM, R&D等
溝通，對外要與客戶的R&D, PM或是合作廠商及代理商等溝通。良好的溝通能力會讓你的
工作事半功倍。

無論是台灣或是外國的IC廠商，英語能力都是不可或缺的必備能力。無論是聽說讀寫都
$ @% T7 W$ h- {, M2 r! V* g會常常使用到。不需要文辭優美文法正確，只要敢說敢講就可。
4.EQ能力
' U3 Q2 n9 V3 ?# K! Y: SAE是第一線的作戰人員，常常有機會會受到客戶或是內部的合理或是不合理責難。這時候
; \. ?  `( X( E# M6 {: M$ i良好的EQ會是很重要的一個因素。此外不同於R&D，很多案子常常執行到一半就取消，會
6 W# s& b: J( ^7 i  T/ P常常有做白工的狀況，適時的調適自己的心情也是很重要的。

通常一個AE同時會要支援數個案子，所以如何有效的管理手上的案子，依照重要性來分配

AE的背景與出路：
背景：
目前觀察到的普遍來說AE的資歷都是比較淺的，很多同事都是在系統廠或是IC廠工作兩到
三年後轉職過來。如果是國外更是常常看到大學剛畢業就去做AE。以AE的工作性質還蠻適
* n* Z+ }' z1 g$ ~( J& S合新人來試試看。可以了解IC產業的運作模式，及學習到許多新的知識。
出路：
AE的出路很廣，想往技術方面發展可以轉往系統廠或IC廠做software/hardware的R&D，想
往行銷方面發展也可以轉去做sales/marketing，想往管理方面發展也可以轉去做PM。而且
' U1 k1 h& [6 F4 P6 kAE相對來說認識的人面也會比廣，只要做的好轉職會很容易。
5 D- n; I2 @; s! N薪水：
一般來說AE的薪水在IC廠內是比較低的，一般來說外商的職缺薪水排名會如下：
' \7 q; ]5 a5 R! g9 U1 Ysales > marketing >= FAE > AE
8 b4 i  R" d  L% l不過相對來說外商的AE進入難度也是這些職缺裡面最低的。

那時大學4年肄業 對於本科電子沒興趣 所以毅然決然的就去當兵了

當兵前等到入伍的前兩個月 去家父任職的建築公司打工

或是客戶要求的事項 總之就像是工頭啦

錄取這間公司也算是蠻有趣的一個過程

% B& C& z, d0 G! q當初有兩間公司開了Offer給我 一個是某認證實驗室 另一個就是這間House

聊的內容不外乎 學歷啦 動機啦 家庭背景 和一些基本專業知識

! h. v. e8 P, ?: D: [4 D專業知識也只問了一個Reset的問題 大概是我答的很快吧

' l3 {4 W  c  Y大頭很快的就給了口頭Offer 也就結束這個愉快的面試

FAE做什麼? 我公司大概就是對內 畫電路 對電路 Layout 焊接 和軟韌體溝通及測試

對外的話就是去客戶那邊協助Debug 規畫硬體設計 以及通過相關認證

還有就是個人負責項目 主要就這3大類 總之就是打雜的

我剛進公司的第一年真的就是打雜的 前輩做什麼就跟著做

在旁邊多看多問 或是幫忙做 這樣會上手的很快


9 ?7 a# O! j) q5 I# vFAE不比一般RD只要把Code寫出來就好 會說話會溝通很重要

由於有時候要幫忙Handle RD寫不出來時去跟客戶協調

: Q6 q+ j  I1 D, Y# a總要想個光明正大的理由讓客戶覺得有在做只是因為...而拖延了

1 T3 F# ~) K0 `有時候又要在Sales和RD中間取得平衡 讓雙方都可以接受

. X" }" O- ]- B4 a) O& Y* |有實力不會交際的FAE 只會被交付一些不重要的打雜工作

或是很賽客戶很刁的案子 要不就是負責的全是一些不重要的產品

因此想步入FAE的 先想想自己的交際能力如何 喇賽功力強不強

FAE需要的專業?

3 |3 p; V' X5 c1 H/ |- hFAE可以說是最不需要也最需要的工作

: ?# X. D" y$ [9 Q% ]1 ~零件的工作原理! 如何用最小最便宜的料件去兜成你所需要的電路

看的懂SPEC 可以減少很多設計和Debug的時間

/ B0 E3 Z8 B" \" Z; p3 r+ Y. w專業知識夠的 可以用最少的時間用最適合的料件

6 }8 ^9 a! C% r' H專業不夠的用以前的電路去兜 或是用最常見的也都是可以

1 u0 T8 K! f( L/ W. i6 f差別只是在時間和成本 你的老闆重不重視就要看命了!!!

2 @* z* }5 M. e: g" J嘴砲技能點滿的 只要東西會動都是可以交差的

看自己要不要去更精進 英文能力好的 看的懂Code的

  c. q. L( {- E. [( e. M* A以上三點是最主要的發展方向

若是腦經靈活 常常能想出不一樣的方法來解決問題 這點更是重要

1 J* v7 S: p) b' l9 Y+ Q' s- _因為有時候RD寫Code只會照著原本Rule來寫

對於整體的工作效率會有很大的幫助 一點小小的淺見
