之前公司有個FAE離職 剛好小弟我有跟他那組的幾個RD合作過
. k. [1 Y: H$ K3 N, S6 M; ^所以之間都不錯 他們就問我有沒有想要來接FAE的位子

他們老闆竟然也說 ok  內轉想來就來壓 我一定說ok的 只要他老闆同意讓他來
雖然心裡當然是想 但是FAE是在做什麼我根本不知道
只知道要去客戶那邊被定(??  因為小弟只是私立後段的學士而已

AE工作內容：

原廠會提供參考線路及檢查要點，這參考線路通常都是由AE來設計，除此之外客戶
& }! r/ v1 c+ l% Z7 U7 t6 D: L也會修改參考線路，所以還要針對客戶修改的線路加以檢查。
9 g  z+ P. E; N  L8 A2.layout review
原廠也會提供參考的layout及檢查的要點，例如一些高速的匯流排及電源走線
( ~$ I; d3 t' n# {. X, Q8 @都要特別注意，常常會影響晶片的性能。
3.Firmware/Software/Driver development
- D, ?3 ?+ N9 A: w7 G3 _( P現在的IC公司基本上也要提供軟韌體的開發範例，這些範例也是由AE所開發出來的。
3 K8 F( E- s4 d& F4.Training
教育訓練，原廠AE很多機會對代理商及客戶進行產品訓練及展示。有些時候AE也會與
sales/marketing配合到客戶端去推銷產品。
5.Documentation
- O  B+ }* t! b% o4 zIC廠會有許多的文件需要撰寫，包含datasheet，使用手冊...等，這些文件也是由AE

AE所需的技能：

" T5 [1 M8 a! u# Y9 ^0 s0 g! g根據不同的客戶需求，常常需要開發各種不同的應用，因此常常需要學習新的領域。
快速的學習能力會是很重要的一個因素。
2.溝通能力
不同於R&D，AE有很多的時間是在與別人溝通。對內要與sales, marketing, PM, R&D等
- v9 A3 ]3 g, a' a" i' x溝通，對外要與客戶的R&D, PM或是合作廠商及代理商等溝通。良好的溝通能力會讓你的
工作事半功倍。
% e: w! ~' `6 t- t4 t, d3.語言能力
無論是台灣或是外國的IC廠商，英語能力都是不可或缺的必備能力。無論是聽說讀寫都
會常常使用到。不需要文辭優美文法正確，只要敢說敢講就可。

  L# L3 j. D4 q1 E: f; [AE是第一線的作戰人員，常常有機會會受到客戶或是內部的合理或是不合理責難。這時候
# i5 G/ t% F, ~* {0 j! w# ^良好的EQ會是很重要的一個因素。此外不同於R&D，很多案子常常執行到一半就取消，會
常常有做白工的狀況，適時的調適自己的心情也是很重要的。
5.多工及管理能力
通常一個AE同時會要支援數個案子，所以如何有效的管理手上的案子，依照重要性來分配

AE的背景與出路：
背景：
9 G; G& p  q( ~9 [5 f# E目前觀察到的普遍來說AE的資歷都是比較淺的，很多同事都是在系統廠或是IC廠工作兩到
三年後轉職過來。如果是國外更是常常看到大學剛畢業就去做AE。以AE的工作性質還蠻適
$ e) T: e- A& A9 l合新人來試試看。可以了解IC產業的運作模式，及學習到許多新的知識。
出路：
7 ^  t& t: K8 B3 D% VAE的出路很廣，想往技術方面發展可以轉往系統廠或IC廠做software/hardware的R&D，想
8 @2 N0 w; I4 k! Q往行銷方面發展也可以轉去做sales/marketing，想往管理方面發展也可以轉去做PM。而且
0 U$ E+ `9 V, c. |AE相對來說認識的人面也會比廣，只要做的好轉職會很容易。
薪水：
4 B0 f5 G9 I$ ?, v/ R7 o: E一般來說AE的薪水在IC廠內是比較低的，一般來說外商的職缺薪水排名會如下：
sales > marketing >= FAE > AE
不過相對來說外商的AE進入難度也是這些職缺裡面最低的。

以上是一般IC廠的AE資訊，系統廠的AE又會有不同的角色及工作內容，有待有經驗者分享

因此會交際和實力一樣重要

因此想步入FAE的 先想想自己的交際能力如何 喇賽功力強不強

FAE需要的專業?

零件的工作原理! 如何用最小最便宜的料件去兜成你所需要的電路

專業知識夠的 可以用最少的時間用最適合的料件

嘴砲技能點滿的 只要東西會動都是可以交差的

& O2 T- H; p4 l9 Y由於 FAE接觸的層面很廣 能學到的東西相對的非常多

( i/ F9 }8 t9 c6 \看自己要不要去更精進 英文能力好的 看的懂Code的

加上人面廣要Sample時能很快的入手需求料件

以上三點是最主要的發展方向

& [2 u( l& ]3 j8 `( n' R& ?若是腦經靈活 常常能想出不一樣的方法來解決問題 這點更是重要

: b; h% b8 [+ z+ D% w+ C因為有時候RD寫Code只會照著原本Rule來寫

若是能適時的提點RD 或是在硬體上Cover RD
