Setting Up Communication With a Viewer5 ]+ s% t% ^* p4 @; i r
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( s9 w4 F0 M$ k* V
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
6 }6 D9 u: x. j# XInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.: Y# Z: R. z# m) e
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. m% E9 r- u7 z- c
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, F- l' j) k) N1. Open the viewer.
) E9 r* g% t& x% w5 e8 ~3 M2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
, w) t, q, m% @& D3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…0 G1 A% `! q/ Y8 I3 }, o+ A
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
