【新竹訊】工研院電光所11月2日在臺大醫院國際會議中心，舉辦「國際多核技術與應用研討會」，邀請英特爾（Intel）等8位國際知名大廠專家學者，分享多核心技術發展趨勢、平行處理、創新應用及雲端運算服務等主題的最新資訊及進展。

當天將有Intel中國研究院院長方之熙發表Intel在微處理器設計及架構研發進展，NVIDIA公司 Nathan Bell博士針對該公司推出的CUDA（計算統一設備架構,Compute Unified Device Architecture）技術應用發展作專題演講。

4 b' Q. j/ E/ h$ n$ E) @4 @- @台灣網路服務兩大通路Yahoo技術長丁綺萍及Google台灣區總經理簡立峰，也將以網路服務平台所使用的雲端運算經驗與大家分享，Toshiba資深研究員Kenichi Mori則以「超級引擎－SpursEngine的軟體發展」進行專題演講，此外，來自德州農工大學、清華大學與工研院的教授與專家，也將分享在多核運算與平行處理的最新研究成果。

現場並有Agilent、鈦思、擎昊、勁智數位科技、博盛數碼動力、台灣東芝、工研院、國網中心、台大、中研院、清大、交大等國內外單位在多核心運算與平行軟體技術的相關產品與技術成果展示。
