If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" X; ^% Y; u) b4 Y1 C
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! `5 t8 j' B. e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" K0 M3 ^/ B" T7 GBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 ^4 a, r& Z P- s1 Y1 `* ?2 b
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
! U8 k, S" y- ]( @. b# F( \1. Open the viewer.
( h" V% k% Q: I; z% C2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! h1 l5 M7 ^ h z* N
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
; c1 f% i0 T8 Z& x9 U4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.- p1 y2 r1 c) x, _& R9 ~! z
