Setting Up Communication With a Viewer, {# L9 j/ d, k: V- ~3 G
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ l% Y2 o/ I4 C
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' l! }% f: r1 h4 u+ u
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 G1 i5 |( v3 k6 ~ O; u% C2 Y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer. c# [. }4 N9 D; G/ D
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.4 u/ _1 R: X7 W. f8 |1 D! n
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
6 w$ \* R! I4 ^' D$ V5 ^. w4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
