Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( H% P6 |% c) P- y& H
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between8 |- I0 C* L% I7 w9 f; r6 H
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ u/ C; M" f% S2 o1 MInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
2 |0 h3 c# d$ K' R x' O2 N* e" `, SBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." G; O4 z, C* M' r8 _( V
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
1 `' E ^/ i- d+ `( A9 U: n1. Open the viewer.
- K8 D1 O1 f" z" G2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened., k- U& u: G, H& a) y' ]6 }
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
