Setting Up Communication With a Viewer. T2 K2 {% e: ^4 } P
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' O" {) a- R0 `3 uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 X- ~" d F6 q! v" YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) k. q' t( G1 O) OBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
x: Y( _) v- y' }. Y9 c2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ o9 V1 ^# Q" d4 C. z6 i
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 T/ Z: I b6 h, n7 Z9 x
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
