Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( b% L3 r P4 E7 H' Q6 G% L
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ K( v" K9 t7 |6 i
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 f4 F% W' \& Z! Y% D
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
G9 {9 f' [ H6 o5 CBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
# i1 g0 v9 Z6 `0 T0 z2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
9 W0 a1 m$ j9 y$ i0 j8 W3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
H4 C- u6 G/ ~2 a4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
