Setting Up Communication With a Viewer/ u/ q# Y% C$ y ?0 b# c8 D
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between; v9 Z# \4 W# S' | f# Q5 z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% N" H' v8 ?; iInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 C; C7 g! l* o6 G$ w; T
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& o3 }. B7 [5 t* d; h" x
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:+ f# ~* G$ [& T" r0 o- e
1. Open the viewer.1 B% u0 s4 o. P( K4 K
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 @" M! h$ a! }( d- x) I4 J
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
