Setting Up Communication With a Viewer0 O& R3 W/ J; `+ L1 R- j
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between7 O5 q. ?7 F( A) A3 Z& ?+ l
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- A! W7 z& @% N0 U1 C! x) N
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
/ x* ?' e! K5 F6 `; q& C3 |4 A) bBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.# u/ z' Q* l8 ?+ s5 Z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 s; Y7 k, i6 T: \0 v6 r. u1. Open the viewer.
& B- D$ E$ Z; w7 }. W0 L2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened." P3 b B3 F2 P! c/ H" \* e
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…1 ~' L( G7 I9 N3 r+ Q. I1 L
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
