Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

S6 P4 ^1 g5 p2 Q/ K, jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 O2 `5 x6 X$ w: Z% ~: L; Z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.! A5 o( v7 y$ X2 `. Z d
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
6 V2 b" C/ W: l( O6 L) v3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…) Y; `0 J3 C6 f I+ a" {- C
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.2 Y0 D, T; R' k y$ p p' W. m
