Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
+ S1 R# A" o6 r. h8 oIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between; h8 K0 n' Z( L
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ d! f* B( f' w T( }6 ~: r3 [" c: T
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 K+ z: e. M, u4 ^. OBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) `1 q8 Q X" x- jYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
- E4 v+ Q# E" J) P1. Open the viewer.% y: \& l; \$ U
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
- i: p5 k4 B- V) y( s3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# l, V0 ]: y+ `* u5 _
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
