Setting Up Communication With a Viewer# P# i7 T; a# g- \) ^. e7 I+ a
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
# c! g; M4 l4 T9 W9 k4 R8 r$ Dthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) X4 F+ R, Y* j4 k. W5 |8 gInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 `& ?3 A) n0 q2 l# V: sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.: F& T) ~; T1 j4 \+ y* |
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:. O2 S, p, I$ c( [
1. Open the viewer.
' t' J4 x2 x/ _" r1 e- s2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
1 k1 k3 M+ a$ ~# ~3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 e8 X, D5 _/ v& N
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer./ G' k1 h( `& ^8 v
5. Click Connect.
