Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
1 }7 p) Z; l8 wIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between$ H) ^. Z8 S# ^2 M$ ]
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: o# F) J% L* W7 [. `5 U
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
' z0 ]9 z2 d( U4 T* `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. `% Y, S; R7 K9 L. g0 |( c
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 e( B" k8 C: ]' Y! }* o2 D1. Open the viewer.
3 S0 z8 }/ V" Z2 Q- ^( I2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
q, L: k' [* D, F1 {3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
