Setting Up Communication With a Viewer g) D% i+ ?/ T9 d
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 Q/ J2 s9 _* p0 G9 P6 ?the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 u L0 ~0 y" ]; ], q" U& j lInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) U! f# v9 @$ e
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.- C. [6 t2 j4 H# N$ ?
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, f7 \ J p c1. Open the viewer.
9 Y0 X5 E- u# b* f% ^% ?% @/ ~2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.( H- O. t ~7 h: a5 l! j) k5 ~
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" D3 b8 ^0 V/ O7 f. g6 ]
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
