Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ D! o0 I* X4 i/ D; MIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 c- s( t2 Q2 u, D W- u5 e Pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( @" \3 b3 H9 y" W$ ^& c: D3 i7 dInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( ]' G3 R2 x) I; k# ^* kBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
8 B' o) r+ t+ e% e: U! l+ R6 TYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* K; W! U. O$ B! d i1. Open the viewer.
{, Z: n: q1 m% n7 Z# u: h- A2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
