Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 B' k+ X+ H* t* d% pIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between) r @/ y% P. l- H+ M
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre. y8 Z% {! F. F( a# f. a W
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets./ r% S0 j8 H0 a4 z/ a% d$ M0 b
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.- l( h q% O& i$ \+ a; p6 @+ _! A
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 V" f3 F' ]. x3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…) a3 \( H4 J2 u/ t& B, j
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
