Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* b2 i6 o5 y, T* z; g/ C
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between8 |5 e7 c p1 O6 Q6 J/ c: I! j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre8 h ]& P, \( X
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 ~% H4 d( {+ j3 `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., d+ A( L( U9 T! t
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure: Q( p. k8 o7 F1 I! L0 D
1. Open the viewer.
& `- O9 @+ o# P r2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ Q& [2 }/ o8 Q y# T x* R3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… ^& g! K$ z. f' _9 ~. e' g6 v2 I
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
