Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ ?/ A; Q# z w1 |
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 L- h* v$ W0 m3 Y/ jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 v! L8 J5 u9 A' i, aInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
1 D- U- u2 m9 l! OBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
, d; h0 V# c: G5 VYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 C" b% k) T- p) u2 E/ o! f) ?( ]1 D1. Open the viewer. g- C& e; E! j. `& z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; y# p! B) Y' U7 v% P' M! f
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
1 N. Y! a) Z/ @2 S4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
