Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# A- n+ Q# `2 t$ j3 kIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 F9 _( Z1 r& c8 \- r% ^! g; J
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
. e& i2 o1 t8 N9 lInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets. N2 p( X# x, U3 W0 y* l
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
. \( `+ u2 K# CYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ O; @) b2 V& A1 g( F' H% ]/ Y1. Open the viewer.4 G) D2 d# L; h) ^% o$ {
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ n( {/ c% x" K( l8 c4 |- c& N
