Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 a' G: I0 F9 w. x5 f4 v# [: OInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 B2 R6 ?9 U' r/ v, U
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 i8 {. q( o% I" Z3 i
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# q) _4 \4 ?0 H K! w
1. Open the viewer.
5 H1 e' _9 ]; E$ W. { ]6 ^! E! r2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
. X7 S6 L6 H+ k. \6 Z" G3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
