If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% Z8 T z$ E+ @5 v9 J
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; c- ~2 S: e* T9 g& v6 }, q9 _$ H
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets. t1 s' G9 e; U
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.; Z/ N( S7 y) [/ ]3 ~& z$ v4 `
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure: e4 P% Q+ o3 m$ p' O1 h, N; a
1. Open the viewer.* l8 p } ?) T2 F3 Y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 m+ l R. b" u1 a6 Y; J, r9 U
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
