Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
: n. c! W9 O. _6 \# lIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 Y1 J8 b0 i3 ]6 ?7 kthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre4 G8 T7 m* z) p8 O) j& x
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( K4 l2 H8 z, E: ?( ~3 ~2 N. kBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* \) K$ M% u; P! s9 h
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( Q2 H. E% H$ t; E2 y6 t5 o ], V1. Open the viewer.
9 j0 Q% L$ U, Q0 p0 a2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
5 I( `! \2 m4 g" C0 I" e' ?3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
