Setting Up Communication With a Viewer. X: T8 s9 F/ L- p# P2 K3 K
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
- y! [$ r$ @/ l& zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* `2 P; J, T" \% i" f, CInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.$ \- Y$ R: q) B* y, h: u+ S
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.4 h3 v8 J4 |6 e& [2 z- C
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:+ Y) U8 k7 k; o' F6 P9 U
1. Open the viewer.5 ~* `5 n- @" x) @# l
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.9 }5 b3 E( w) U+ K
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
7 G6 Z) c9 j( L8 _8 }4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
