Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
" ]8 p. X, ]6 a) e4 ?; l: d! g! @If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# P3 c' ~' ~* x6 i
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 M- }! M" A& f& Q( e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& O- `3 \% _3 x0 c. y* T+ g2 BBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.2 d" T; N/ M9 T8 I k& W
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 M6 L; n4 M* B0 Y# {' x9 E
1. Open the viewer.* h" S+ }6 A0 \) z: O9 E9 Y2 Z" T
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
8 O W* O+ y. y/ ~7 s2 L: B3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
