Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: e2 C3 c B& {! M
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 [3 V% S' u9 r7 [
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( x9 C f( w7 w8 Z3 X+ s5 ^
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
/ F+ l3 s/ ]0 y: Y$ |: Y. |/ k! s7 ^, aBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* v2 R) P, w6 x$ X; Z1 V! d
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' x. D7 k/ @) U* q, y3 @
1. Open the viewer.( r4 x8 A" A, C+ c" p% o# L
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) F* s5 l) h" \. a3 n4 P2 ?3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…7 i' p+ M2 [: p7 D' }- v2 {" B' k
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
