Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.' K' l- o! ]' \/ ?# ?9 t/ ~
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 Z3 S0 S# O: y+ z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) Y% ^# p$ l. B: n i3 @9 W( X
1. Open the viewer.' @5 f( v8 R! Q. t4 t
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 V$ `- a7 z2 v* k! g
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…- }. w4 J9 M0 z( y
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.! ~, l- X- X+ h0 n$ j" E
