Setting Up Communication With a Viewer4 o. a/ z2 Q; G! ~0 T+ l6 O
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! X! |6 ^5 Y; W
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# [- Q4 T. X' _/ m, ]4 ]
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
7 j: C/ [' F2 }& L" e! ^3 tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% O/ ~) v' ^. X/ `
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:4 l) V: v$ O$ }# ~
1. Open the viewer.
" l8 B/ [6 O: B9 N1 q" n! K/ H' G7 v4 v2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
. C' [" K7 q: G" u3 p3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
0 `3 h7 Y" @) F$ ~7 u4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
