Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
* C0 y* ` {$ L7 FIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between0 r0 Y# j& h" `9 w/ R$ ~
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; X8 d. s, a/ s
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 m* \) R- n, ]/ l3 eBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.) n# L: V$ A5 I
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% v/ m. G) q$ m1 D; j- g1. Open the viewer.: p: [1 j) S8 S. s
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.4 a) Q* d y4 a; I) l _. y
5. Click Connect.
