If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* z5 a4 b9 n5 m9 `! J
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 E. p- H4 j3 N' {+ `, [3 W3 Q
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& F3 B, C4 P& x" E- [1 n
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.7 z& O0 |% F, P
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.( U x3 r7 m& t$ B
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…& s1 a7 R! L1 N, V R1 B* _
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 c- @8 i6 k+ ]. n8 ~
5. Click Connect.
