Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
: q& h$ o; ?4 d% @& s8 ]If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 {+ A1 t* n( R% i) E! [3 {the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- L! S" Q% ^* L. Z7 R& e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: [8 q' [! U+ B6 CBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! E: |# d" J( Q [4 C5 e* F' XYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' v, e! L/ u3 }- \- V
1. Open the viewer.0 X2 n4 M+ g/ _, `
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.% R1 I' Z$ u* d# N1 v
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
