Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.' q5 T7 r' Z3 V' E
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* X# R6 v' {, f, O3 B
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:- g ~; a/ {5 U3 ^: b
1. Open the viewer.( v) N9 W" [. y4 B8 j s
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.1 y& r6 d8 c \% c
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
6 c% [& Q: Q( s% @0 ~# W- J1 ^4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
