Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
3 Z+ K" o9 E) U; {5 zIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between4 }9 e; i. R4 ~4 S3 ^
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: U' g7 ?/ o; L: U, U9 j% z8 Z
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.* S K8 e) J7 ]7 h# `. z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
: c& Y9 \5 H+ h& d+ j; T9 k" LYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) r4 j6 n6 N' E3 S: {
1. Open the viewer.
4 X/ | u5 ]; r) p2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.! _* }* z; V7 g5 a; `6 H$ @
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
