If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between 4 k) U6 g: \( B7 ?& B2 ithe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre & i# \2 q0 X- i: J& n$ t, R! VInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.6 z4 }6 V) q; {1 j3 [
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.. q' O4 F" y6 \/ P
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:5 C+ ^( t6 f5 N" n' F3 l ]. W
1. Open the viewer.0 q( ]" }1 V# D% _: N
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 R7 N. ~8 y5 L P
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…4 a( ?: [! I/ y# q" R6 T
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ U3 C. J5 F% n" h6 h8 a$ r
5. Click Connect. 4 u7 ^ t1 h3 [5 n6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer.
