Setting Up Communication With a Viewer. U5 p1 F8 r# ^+ w h, s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ @0 R$ U5 h. w+ T
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre8 S8 t4 d7 {6 N( C3 Y& J
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% N% i h7 O9 V. Y- oBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% Z) t: N) j" X
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) D6 ]- W0 C5 _
1. Open the viewer. y! I% g, z1 B( C* F& U9 z( O
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened./ D6 ]9 ~( ~2 A( c
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
$ P& I# _; R8 V/ _5 I& k1 t4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
