Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre% ]3 R ^9 {, l; E7 G% D
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% |/ y0 W2 g& g* J; g8 C3 Q
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
7 e5 J7 @! `( D0 G, L2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
