Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
7 y* k4 s W/ `) v% b9 E) j# FIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between4 v( w' D$ `9 J+ u% M
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre, n* O' l2 _% K3 v0 ^
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
3 e" `2 d- n. `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! I& r' x3 K, h* L
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* i/ _8 _' w8 @5 V3 r3 k: M) p
1. Open the viewer.
. M H9 `. p E: u; s+ m; @/ B! u2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened./ _. v! A0 ^8 ?3 b
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
* S0 ~) P/ \/ V6 e" H4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
