Setting Up Communication With a Viewer. e7 \) d/ s0 n5 P# t& q
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
v$ ~. c& B" T# I _7 ythe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ t+ l3 W$ v7 h" Q
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 N) h) x. S7 G8 I ~7 t
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.4 I! K! a j% v
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
) g& n! L" r+ P5 r- x1. Open the viewer.
3 ]3 a& D& o4 N3 S+ w- e0 r, l2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
+ u! c1 M: d, b6 R5 y3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
