Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ X8 L* k1 |' y4 D3 a
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between$ o& F. i( g& T0 v9 [3 q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* l5 _1 i1 ^1 G- l# ^
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
7 z. b% B- l1 RBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ g9 q7 w2 q3 [" h0 J6 }
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
1 ~4 U& m% T3 X" G/ k5 y1. Open the viewer.! C% F/ c) z5 a& G% u
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: @* Y2 B5 k& }" }9 w6 p
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 p: n8 q5 B9 H& T* x7 i
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
