Setting Up Communication With a Viewer" u9 S& @& @' g0 H' g4 p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between7 O. D8 [/ W0 G% ^- v5 j% U! P
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
; w- b4 q9 T# f: \/ D8 jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 r. _, F! w+ j; G' L; r
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." C$ p2 I6 _+ e9 g9 x
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
" s0 s4 U, K! O1. Open the viewer.8 Q' U9 z" _2 @5 a ]
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' |9 w1 U- L/ c6 |
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…6 r* q1 t0 ~7 w
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
