If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, U9 ^: |7 w- pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
8 c% _) r1 r+ y( e: qInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& S% N8 r9 x3 E4 H4 p
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.7 t- D3 W% }) i) O0 x8 D
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
6 o3 p3 `' h- z3 V- M7 N7 g1. Open the viewer.
: J( {5 { c% \" \! K# z+ W2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ h. D. C6 b4 U: c3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
( R8 z% z0 _9 l' `7 v4 J# P4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
