If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ J7 f- D: r6 g' P6 _5 |
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ M, l+ R# y5 D) G" c4 SInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 b7 L4 o w5 Z+ z4 kBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. O% F/ F9 A9 Y' q1 e4 k- Y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:4 q2 F1 R! }, \- n$ |
1. Open the viewer.
" ?; _4 }9 u: G2 r! E* d3 B: l9 _2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ }5 T3 Y" s! y2 Z4 m& |3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, ^! o3 K6 h8 ~( r8 M
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* L8 d/ r% t z5 |. ]$ ^' [1 i

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
