Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
% C& o- S s/ w9 @! o5 _3 XIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& d. ^, `$ @- Y- c1 Mthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre5 n1 p8 j. g! x6 U- @5 _. J
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; S) M. |* x/ g; w$ w
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 i) e5 T' C, `& J+ M3 q- qYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
: t% X( p! q( e: A- G( q1. Open the viewer.' Z/ p, O% C8 \, Y; J
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
