Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
' s3 A( u6 j3 gIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# ?) y6 H% {4 m
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 r/ w9 D8 }4 v; `) K+ XInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) Z; z& \0 I$ n2 y! _
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., o$ l* _# {" h- G7 m
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:- @% d% _1 X+ @. F7 n3 v7 w
1. Open the viewer." E9 m# {$ m: l: ]4 D( g- _
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" j3 k, c4 F2 O3 }3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. D, I. v; f9 }3 c6 z% P: E
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.4 g- Y' f/ l% Q: I
