If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
. ^% E/ e. ~- ]/ hthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
5 n! `* W+ w( n4 kInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 W0 S) n% n- E5 bBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# r7 n6 L. D* F1 S; L' O! }! v, kYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& V5 m" h" P. l# e/ n2 Y2 F6 N
1. Open the viewer.+ ]9 I' x- |6 t& n/ G
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
1 }! R# \7 Z! o/ L$ G3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…4 J3 J7 r8 I6 l7 s$ W* R' ], Z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
