If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between. f( r( j B8 G4 c6 M3 c* \8 w
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ K, I0 H" F9 k0 |' v( T/ |1 l- C
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ H( T( M+ j3 G' ?1 jBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.. u& a+ r3 T3 W* W/ @
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 }4 ?! `+ {$ B8 d+ |* R
1. Open the viewer.
' }; [' K) ?- b8 m, Q8 |7 J2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# P* t0 \7 O* l* C+ T
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…9 H: i6 d+ m$ H, C) R6 M \) m
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
