If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 V* y5 T; M. a4 I7 d0 J0 |
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, Z5 C9 R# x) tInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* ? F2 v8 F/ sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. d, L) L2 L, q
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:9 I: u2 s% C# Y3 W" y; r" R$ R) N
1. Open the viewer.
2 T U; ^/ j+ i d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.5 n7 |$ _4 r, m" w7 y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
% g% c/ f6 r8 v) m; ]4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
