Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
6 k, ~3 E; a e& a3 uIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between8 w, ` @. |% d( G: ~
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
; B% J2 N5 m1 X! n9 J5 rInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.' ?0 i) F+ h/ B8 w+ R( T
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., G2 ], n% o& L: A6 M/ T( W& S
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
7 ?. N3 Q9 _( m1. Open the viewer.; g# K5 } Q4 D
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.( Y9 z: L* k/ |3 u9 q
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
