If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between: o& X. x6 s: E/ p0 u
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre" [5 M4 C2 D( i
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
' O: D3 M6 s7 \- B0 BBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
0 t' [3 _/ Y2 q! `0 s: uYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:. n9 y' W1 Q' K- \7 O1 s
1. Open the viewer.4 i, H) W$ p3 A3 e4 D# V f
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.( r$ [4 B5 F% \0 l9 f( e+ Y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
; d( e" B9 ~) X4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.0 k0 }3 h8 U+ w7 J; Y9 }
5. Click Connect.
