Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: o: N3 O7 m) m' x, F' I
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between) y3 Q5 _! @* n. [) h2 e |$ o
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) v6 s$ M# G) a ]Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# f$ ?$ Z, s% ~2 V! |9 w: lBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! ^) |! K x+ n K6 C/ O, g) ]
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
- `$ m' j9 L+ d1. Open the viewer." C8 y/ `4 `9 t6 | d
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) K i1 N3 i$ A) A w. N- I3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
- D; [% m }, ~$ h4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.8 ~; C- \' T8 h+ W. @5 w
5. Click Connect.! O, G" S' X8 k+ @& W. N
6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
