If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' d+ ]# u/ y& h5 e( vthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
- a" L" m$ ~' M; _% jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
$ h: ?% {2 o$ tBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 J+ n' `9 [% i( ^1 C0 u
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; f; Q: Z& b% p# X3 Q7 {
1. Open the viewer.
5 }- w4 `: ~0 N' V: p8 M( u2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

5. Click Connect.
