Setting Up Communication With a Viewer+ |! i' x# F2 S
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
8 Y. w* C; L7 Z# C% o- ~( u4 zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre m& b! a0 T" E& R
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.. o5 `8 R1 P9 G$ Z( n
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.2 B* i. w: c) Y) y! L; @6 \/ y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& J! |3 S' @. s* }9 ]1 y
1. Open the viewer.7 M/ [1 F: p* C9 J8 S) H0 Z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) I' [* a% a+ |- R. T% T4 o6 `3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
