Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# a+ v6 p, ~; fIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
+ l; m! H. ?. N5 B; B' M: `the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 o, h9 S$ i0 R. t) q/ j
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
3 i' q4 |- w: WBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
* L/ r/ F" F& L3 p( R" B# WYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:- ]3 m3 D, j( i$ J0 U" n7 U
1. Open the viewer.1 ~ m; m( u: y8 P1 l8 D2 b
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

5. Click Connect.
