Setting Up Communication With a Viewer) t3 J$ E: }/ D% c$ D
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
+ H( P* h0 Y- Jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- ]* B% h, {0 n& S. J! _
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 D6 K4 [- d6 ^( d/ h
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.3 Y4 H* [0 B0 k( m
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( W7 x d8 d5 F1. Open the viewer.
1 x6 a& r& v$ S v. M2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" U0 C% }3 ]5 k% O/ _3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ d: [4 I% F8 `: y* j& ^
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
