Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
@0 t& ^$ a: u% }# @If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between8 S0 w, s5 L3 L: n7 _- k
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
8 b3 g d# f& C8 D2 {) zInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% u# B9 Q& V* T @0 \
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.4 w' Q b6 G& F6 u, Y2 y+ G$ A
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:, L1 T8 c J& I9 X) K- o, W: {4 \
1. Open the viewer.
3 K. |9 |0 _" K2 d' p& `2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
7 N8 i3 o7 f' T5 u. f+ P3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…4 R) E; S* ]# J g
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
