Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ S$ w5 Q5 t8 r9 ]- C
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
! y* d* i1 E$ z% ]0 Z& p* u8 pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 z+ B- R* Q3 L" ?Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.! u2 l8 W+ ^3 e* R
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
( L9 S9 ]. z$ u5 N* bYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# q, o u* e- e$ o* J$ }0 H
1. Open the viewer.8 n E% i% [7 T$ Q9 A9 w6 O) v; z1 c
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) `. N% Z+ t$ h% u2 e) p
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
& z- v& R5 Q' S$ r6 ?, i4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.; t: |. F8 s- ? V
