Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# l* w- Q4 A( H% D
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
7 w/ v$ @; w, k; F! l, a0 cBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." W6 U4 i% c# y/ n M5 l
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% z1 U7 \$ {. h+ b- X4 {0 x1 ~9 B6 o1. Open the viewer.
! {! w$ j* @ j$ k. b8 G' O% `2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
