Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
7 z& o& S% d7 b+ G& {If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between5 P- Y" d; K" N; f7 C7 G
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 c9 }/ @. E9 y2 {: O% {( Z; J
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
9 Q" p' {1 ?9 Q3 \: a1 {By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! t" f0 e* c- Q) S R
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:0 s7 c9 o+ `7 B
1. Open the viewer.4 V \& }0 d& R. @, [
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' R; S- v6 N- p: e4 {) X
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
