If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, H' o% U( E, M6 F$ Jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
: w& Q( _" {7 `& e" r7 i; A" a! U0 s" SInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 Z" G q8 r7 ]1 @0 E) i1 l1 j( |
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. |3 r5 j4 a% _( b5 H
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:+ J4 e5 O$ M! Q
1. Open the viewer.
$ ^* u+ ~, e' l6 E" f6 V$ j2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
