Setting Up Communication With a Viewer3 R1 } v$ O2 r7 f( ]
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% m. t) T; w' j2 n& }$ k" }0 G+ Z% `the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
/ E5 T3 N: x" m0 `) _Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
$ N$ M9 J) O! N r3 Y' S7 R6 yBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 h9 p9 z8 H7 R- Q2 N6 J
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& k5 U. C( X9 s$ |& R9 C9 {
1. Open the viewer.1 G/ l* k, Q4 m" Y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
3 m9 o; M0 I$ g$ ]2 P0 h3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
; y, j( S( I$ c! U5 C9 Z4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
