If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, I& r- `7 p1 Y: L4 x; u9 o# {2 @the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) Q7 F0 Y$ m2 T1 H9 _+ A7 dInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.. y/ e1 r! A4 k- _! N
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! a' _- l0 k+ c4 R. h, @You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:3 f( p& o& K8 f
1. Open the viewer.6 F1 U& a9 \6 C; e4 q& I
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.6 D F$ h, m( \( s% }
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… s: }% R4 M; Y7 |9 d7 G& t0 x$ N) _# z8 b
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.7 {! S0 `( R" s. E) l* o* d9 u; |7 G
5. Click Connect.4 _. V! a5 V6 J0 U. Q
