Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
+ ^( Y/ F7 s3 w$ L$ P% J/ iIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
- E/ g3 [' U" c4 e" e, H( vthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; c# p" U* D1 m$ J* _ b7 ~4 e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets." C1 A0 ?1 f6 d1 G3 N& [, @
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
$ g$ I4 p: G$ J4 aYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; z; E$ }; ]+ @* |6 M T
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ `$ T% k2 z- z6 x1 n2 Z0 {( U
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
