Setting Up Communication With a Viewer6 {+ b @; @$ R/ }
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 D) P% k- }* o! f8 ~the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 @ N/ M9 Z/ X2 Q- T
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: G4 v' s7 r# i- ~; _' e; u& oBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.5 ^* Q1 X# c. I; k+ ^6 j0 l6 `
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) {5 ~( o& p8 S0 s1 x
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
