Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
2 N* j) u% L( ]) G H, E! t: p7 O1 KIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! g8 E. N1 A) m; v
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
! Q' o. d4 C8 s8 l& XInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 x2 P4 K' v( z# u7 b! `1 S
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.4 m+ \# w' B. P
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
4 p& `7 t: e4 W" r# ~5 u* e1. Open the viewer.* ?. K, @' p# _! Y D
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened., ~( F7 s* A8 y- [3 ^* j2 B6 Z2 L7 D
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
# i3 q/ x7 }0 y$ h2 p4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
