Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
* G x, e- q+ r- G7 M5 eIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" w/ L: M6 M" y% z. G6 p0 T
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% s4 C5 F( |$ r& kInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 g9 y# F) A4 E; Z' D% S. e: [By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ \2 C9 }4 t3 [, v( r: B
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

5 r# S. N! C$ p. q& Z( u2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened., s) D5 U6 l, }) C, O) N
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
h+ z& M4 }, Z; p, V: l) @7 N4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& ~3 S9 y' D/ p0 R8 e( b- R
5. Click Connect.
