Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 y$ h% o; a/ M- X$ g- |If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
+ V |# O- h% cthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ g e4 Z2 w4 J* C+ p' C
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. t3 D9 Z. \4 K! N; z* DBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
7 O! E0 u5 B4 C, fYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
- I) S2 Z& Q( k+ _6 v0 P2 J1. Open the viewer.* {0 [2 F. m7 \. X( ~* X/ l' H: Z7 c
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
) i" [( L+ m# N6 v, L3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
