Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 R$ I/ y" b. VBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic./ R8 Z+ W4 ]. m0 L' s
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ m! }5 ?' e. [ G n1 W. [
1. Open the viewer.) |/ H( }' u3 j7 y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
6 g% C! B+ u+ [! n6 f3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
