Setting Up Communication With a Viewer1 o, \% [; O5 w/ r% x8 f2 \
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& M/ H' n9 t5 ?# Sthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
. H; _1 N; e4 k) C4 Q7 `Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* s$ d) k+ |$ T$ NBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# }+ p% ?0 h; v( G/ {$ Q2 ZYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; x% Y2 Q7 s1 e6 s
1. Open the viewer.9 k7 Y2 ?0 |. j4 ^6 ^, y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 _/ t* L8 H* @
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…4 R& c8 v0 I, g5 ]; ^! X& Q: R
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.: k" E& f4 O3 p5 F; {
