Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 I6 \! E! k* C' U( xIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between6 R3 `$ e, H9 U2 E3 {* ]3 L5 D
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( s5 Q3 v) U0 Z% ], D* uInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( I V; {$ b9 G" f3 y( ^By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
0 K: b3 e/ O1 ~( l1 f2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.7 @6 D7 e6 v$ z2 I8 K! s) K8 q" l
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
% c# j9 ^ _+ y$ E6 g3 p4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
