Setting Up Communication With a Viewer3 w& Q% ], e7 H. _
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between! F7 O) e7 d8 `; H0 \* ~
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& o0 P, m; X- y5 ZInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 q" `5 D! }9 G8 U& l4 @
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

, C# l7 J$ U# Z% ?" S) j7 n7 a2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened./ N' A: w7 k9 ?
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 I) [ @4 z# \* e
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.8 H! \: j5 j J- `
5. Click Connect.& j4 z# P. k* l' S) R; q1 s
