Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 x( t9 b8 H3 c3 r4 O
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' L/ l3 M) l: t: G2 I; T) D& pthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
9 X2 r4 u4 @" \1 _" ^Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 \1 F' K) D/ T3 x9 @2 R6 xBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 G4 R' i; N* C- c
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
$ q3 U/ Y0 f8 D/ |( Y' i/ a1. Open the viewer.
`$ @; A3 @6 q3 i( R ~8 g2 l2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 N7 |- T5 w) l3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…* W: T, ] D2 a$ r6 p) l. [+ Q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.- T( `1 Z; N! ^# ^ I2 p* h/ a
5. Click Connect.
