Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
6 ~' [8 V6 |! H" S7 rIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between$ T% a: E0 o7 ^( N
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre8 m7 a2 ?0 O" t5 Q( |0 z
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.* c! C* Y1 ~# W% X
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.4 K2 V/ M7 q3 u
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:: X! U9 q8 y8 Z" `( z
1. Open the viewer.+ @( n: _5 Z% s# ?
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer." F$ a7 H. @% ] j: Z* S
5. Click Connect.
