If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
1 T& }2 ~9 ^* G" Y: c3 Ithe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 n; g$ ^, V# Q' r* r2 y1 O0 R- ]& t
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# e: Q$ Y) l+ K- |
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.) O9 V- M1 L( p, M
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:% `. ~7 [; U L4 o
1. Open the viewer.
* x$ ~2 f4 `$ o; l+ K1 _0 R2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( D _ v8 o- u2 H3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…: e: l3 E8 E" x
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
