Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
: G' R9 ^* k0 y! o. c" AIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 i) T) d P" Z6 k) V) I" Tthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 S+ e1 r! I* YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.( L, r8 \7 s* w# A! |+ u1 Q
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.5 @, b3 ]( ]) k& i' n5 A3 Y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
/ {5 d3 _; d$ T" |) x7 h' U3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
