Setting Up Communication With a Viewer, E6 ?/ @" `% U' P
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 E# b( Q U$ {' F/ o2 f- }7 |+ ~. rthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; K8 C' h; j9 v
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 p7 v+ l0 I' t
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.- T# v1 Y4 y- r
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
0 Y/ x* }! j: B4 t- O: n1. Open the viewer.8 i+ x6 L, a, l0 T
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.4 Q2 L5 R c1 ^% a' u5 a
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# q5 V; `" c( a5 A5 s# `
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
