Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
5 [$ c) m- ^- w: T( mIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 a: G2 h7 w. T) V8 c
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
; h# O7 I2 M) A, h* u+ U" GInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
1 W/ X) r3 J. j5 ?; TBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 }* L( _" @% Y1 X, A9 C0 O
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, l4 d) @* z; L/ m2 @2 k8 i- B7 M1. Open the viewer.
W ` m2 s; v- O2 I2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; |' i& w" Z; ]; j
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
7 m) \# r& d" C) L4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
