Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre

By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ T/ T: J* C" F v" Z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; a" z) v3 q) ?1 Q7 ]: u* A
1. Open the viewer.
' C `- b: c$ t6 h" t0 o( ]2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: k, o: }( ?# t
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
' f7 H; s9 d# T0 T! w% [4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
