Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
( D0 x. f! k, d) g: C, C6 u. O& nIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between; k9 } @& Z' ~. E7 M# v5 j1 ~
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, R6 K& C# H3 d) ^) }+ T* {4 Z6 j% RInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% a; u( G) ^6 l& N) ~9 o
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
! r( B( Z/ q* |5 \% NYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
* J3 S) o9 ]- ]9 e. A2 ^1. Open the viewer.
( ^ e# y( b- E" e2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 E2 R o e) i
