Setting Up Communication With a Viewer0 V' y2 A7 b5 ]1 @! Q* P$ h
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 k+ m; m$ Y5 u* V) O3 w ?the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
) Y. G6 T2 \1 ~$ X1 U. G ~Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 ~+ t7 ~3 _: y4 h" ^By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.2 |7 j; f& O. h* \ [, }- j
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
/ _+ e! j1 Q, n1. Open the viewer.+ n9 p8 B2 _5 T
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& {; R( D! T5 F1 ^9 A
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…: l. u5 I, a1 l
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.4 Y0 P: a, Z1 b
5. Click Connect.
