Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( D- D- ?1 q( Y3 |0 s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( b! K i8 j0 y# J2 P
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% n; U4 J; D4 E# A% `! V! N# e$ }9 cInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# c; d/ q4 Y$ _/ }
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., W# r j5 B. \# N5 r( ~$ K/ l0 H$ a
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( K! b8 Y( X5 }( ~6 u1 D1. Open the viewer.
3 Z) b' k- y8 t( u; J( ^2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
* n% c3 F3 {5 y3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
g) C$ R. h* G' N2 ^8 N4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
