Setting Up Communication With a Viewer6 v3 H, {& k: c
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# u: B8 F ]4 F5 V: b& K2 e' w
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre. ?7 E; _7 Z6 Y# J1 p7 b4 m
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.7 X' V c2 F9 s- q
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# t$ j4 |7 \$ kYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ R. H( V# y$ p# H7 E" \8 f4 l+ t3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
) v1 n0 i1 j. S7 y2 \$ w4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& B4 x- a' t6 u- e
