Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% k$ V5 f7 u9 r9 P/ _: e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 _# q ?1 z6 M; {! x( s" f
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% x/ d6 S9 `2 j5 R8 N4 X$ pInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& H! F" `/ i4 a, Z* q7 W+ y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) ?2 h# F, f. ~8 fYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( L: s) C# Q' Z1. Open the viewer.
0 K/ J0 O) Z/ z, t2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.6 \3 |9 |; Z& T& n1 }
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
