Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. C* p! e2 S; H- v" d9 H( mIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' M+ A) J" k/ d
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
. c; ~! n1 l2 @- B/ FInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.. t5 v0 t( i+ t! q* ]# p( V; K
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.) @; h+ a' _1 e" Y' |
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

1 l0 |8 [1 Y: @7 q# z2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened. V' P, ` _( H0 P+ u: Z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
