Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' W' a/ U3 H, x' X3 I2 o; n
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
5 ^: k- e- n" A6 B7 g( M. m" ^/ Nthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
4 w- C+ m3 r8 T+ r M5 X1 y& cInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; Y b0 D0 G& b1 v5 {By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
. Z* m' z: J+ w+ J; ?7 B1 hYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 F+ H2 _! o4 ~4 s; a
1. Open the viewer.3 g8 ^$ d/ I) [0 k1 u
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.5 u8 I! M' I( R! l# J
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…& B5 K; {& w& U2 ]$ v8 t
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
