Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. W& h5 [5 o. [3 n! p+ i1 w, W- i* lIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* D. x. \9 {& {! w
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre; `3 _/ d9 c# t a: l$ t* j
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
! T& p0 R# Q0 C! h7 H0 ~By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." [/ {& g9 X% n- y" F9 K' {
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:, w1 s6 q! k% @- l+ G& D
1. Open the viewer.* O1 [9 f# X( b0 {1 } f
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
$ d% E" n1 h. x& _/ f3 {3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, s4 i' h! h& H% q, e4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
