Setting Up Communication With a Viewer! U. {. }! B! ^9 ?
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 \1 n' S5 Y/ z# q: j1 Nthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
" s& C0 o; G0 w7 I& u. l, f* {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; s$ y" \9 I! @& g$ G2 d
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
& m1 j1 H! x8 O; _$ D2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
5 \3 `- g y2 ?! e J4 l9 T& f3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…* F/ d$ o4 B6 G/ |( @9 Q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer., P- f6 R8 K+ f6 S; k4 l: [' ]+ H
5. Click Connect.
