Setting Up Communication With a Viewer# V& w+ ?" r4 n4 @
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 V( c4 Y2 ?8 X' _( Jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! t) k+ _7 n1 v( P
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets. j8 i+ {- u* ]2 s
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 \9 a3 ?4 ^+ j% ]You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
, G+ `. U( }) B( w. E- {/ ~1. Open the viewer.8 [8 y. B0 u/ l* W
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. e8 \; u: e" d2 A0 ?
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, O2 |. I2 Z& B1 G% X, v' W8 X
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.7 U( H0 B) w. R+ F- `$ G
5. Click Connect.
