Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
3 h9 b9 c( O& D2 L- Z+ VIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
! v# O0 s/ n1 ]4 _! Sthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ B! f5 J2 ?- x0 `' B. l3 ~) p
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 K5 H; e* v) @2 \8 I' {: J* \( x
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.) `+ M- Y# j. F2 N# Q9 z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
