Setting Up Communication With a Viewer3 T# _: d9 S! t% l9 v
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between3 g) Y1 ]3 F% V0 K0 j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
9 S* ~5 p* m" Z7 J0 i2 fInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 T2 J: n$ ~, ]( U% ^/ @" k. h
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
1 ^3 \( K" P$ \/ L$ s: x. EYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: s$ x" W4 ^/ P n
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 h3 m$ U& D9 y2 W8 t
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer./ P4 j. b( W j
