If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between2 U, F6 v p' T; ~" |6 j2 A, V
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre" f9 ?2 t! Y @1 l# v3 Z/ G
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: V8 l1 W* d+ k/ `9 E" U% aBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* b2 q5 o" @% _ r
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:4 n$ J& k; a! ?$ t- l- ^
1. Open the viewer.
1 b& p; J, w2 r2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) y+ Z- @, g" q2 N1 Z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
! f6 Q# \% E2 v1 ^! h9 ^4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
