Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
' y) g5 M) \+ u8 f3 K! L+ ^; m3 xIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% @$ X5 g/ g) \& R6 b3 Z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
; s! t* _. a' C) g" D$ `Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& ?+ r1 { R7 J3 u U. {
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.1 P9 T! A$ _0 r- R* O
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) i9 p- \$ B3 L' z" F2 S! a7 z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" Q: f" }, @) K N
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer., ~. P6 {" T, T/ L+ K5 W
5. Click Connect.
