Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

4 S! ~. ~4 `) R0 Jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( I( [- m8 c7 h
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; e. i# Y( c8 Y9 `# DBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 }9 P4 C8 k+ }) |5 k" j. b5 O! v5 C! ^
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
. U, G# P1 N- J( U% E! `3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…( `4 |* W ]1 C) B
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
