Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
3 z7 @: G7 r9 V1 lIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 P3 h% [- O* w$ \* K8 D6 u/ e, Q# cthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre2 y0 ?( s; h9 {7 ?. p
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: c. ~( S# y! t/ [$ W" \3 |; WBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.1 G" _9 ]7 @5 _) t; m0 G
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 x; v9 o$ `6 T$ t/ O! Q9 J1. Open the viewer.
* M" Q" b$ D9 k& Q- q2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
