Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
n( e! b$ [, G- }3 }+ M# n" _If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between$ ?. K; d% M5 j) D
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% `% p2 B6 `/ b* BInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets. X' y( ~) C+ k7 @ l3 Z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
/ P* q0 f* F& R) J* t& _9 }You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened./ [9 X+ n1 b4 @4 o/ y8 L4 H
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, K8 z1 s& x0 @5 Y8 A& Z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
