Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 j5 @( ~8 u2 z3 R; E: g* l
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between' h$ c" O* H% ~' ^/ j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# f& T" S. b5 B; @) V# g: N, _
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 S! e" I- [, P: @By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% e9 Y/ ?0 @5 L* L8 N5 c) }
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 O' j1 g8 ?- ?( M
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" y$ A2 a1 x6 W
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
