Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
5 g \/ E- q$ O7 [& y* uIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
# B% A b7 h- w0 `8 s! v6 lthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' K* P: {# W0 L2 t% [
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
2 L* V1 J& K, t* I3 ?4 M; vBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.# a, l3 Y; L# k6 _! e
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:5 i+ q* r4 M3 ]% g& l+ w4 }
1. Open the viewer.' k! k7 m3 O W. P2 h
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.5 g! O* R- I: i& b& n4 K
5. Click Connect.
