Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ `7 u3 { ?$ p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( |: f( h; J/ y& X" R
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* _2 {. w) ]% H' SInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.( A" f, @4 b" G( I4 |: ]6 ], b
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
. j2 N: W7 z- wYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 n, N0 `3 D2 l! ~4 c! s9 U+ w# f
1. Open the viewer.# p. n- t$ ~4 M0 v- W" ~
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( ^* ?: d" |3 f3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…1 G% m; H2 z4 B: q
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& z7 x& a! T1 W: g5 E- Q d
5. Click Connect.
