Setting Up Communication With a Viewer) ~6 t9 ` x }) N1 I& e. i# d
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
1 w8 O* e6 t' c; x9 r7 rthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# h+ m5 x! g: Y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
! l! t- J5 C' u* gBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.; `& R! @" q6 x3 x# x& S) s0 ~
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
# {) ~ b T6 ~ g; r1 P3 o3 m; f1. Open the viewer.
/ y% l% F% j+ H0 g: g: Z. u2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: c2 t. ?! ?3 P/ q5 T2 N
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
