Setting Up Communication With a Viewer& p( I! {0 ~) b( N# S
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
d( b' O- U+ [3 f/ D6 i7 H4 {the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
6 C6 n* U0 Y/ z4 W; t5 m: B" oInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.4 X% y* O" d" C
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.# W! ?% B* i3 i: U7 C
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
0 Y2 f7 _0 _, a3 I. u$ O1. Open the viewer.! e8 O6 g/ \5 m; O% x- A" C
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
3 f$ N2 L1 u) F9 V) b0 e# C3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
8 R4 d4 R6 i2 O! l# M g: m( G4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
