Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# u; h$ K3 M& J* C fIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between( Z* _: S/ O Y* ^9 }6 U, M- F
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# k, D# b* u) c! v0 s9 u' \/ E
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 P+ [$ x W* t* t1 g* V( i
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
% u; n! E4 b% g# B) pYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:9 C% Z/ B& R9 F4 \; \
1. Open the viewer." b Q: [2 H, s7 X0 i9 y2 |
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; U& `' a# x, A3 ]; w
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
