If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between4 @, M; J# |7 A8 b/ Q1 P9 i8 N
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 c V- Z. A% m1 F( Q' r
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets., W# s2 t- m. k
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& J& e& E* f& j* K+ i$ _+ A
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:4 ]$ h8 Q+ O" Q- K
1. Open the viewer.
. R9 q9 n4 h# |; u/ s5 \/ k2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.7 M. V8 k1 X9 c! q* A$ K
5. Click Connect.
