Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
& v. d9 G) C; P# ?; m- U0 l" m, `If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between- \/ d: [- n/ E' P4 n/ E
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 B1 d* ~8 x2 w; O0 C g
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" p3 P2 n# U v" G0 mBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ E# B3 P& Z% ~$ E i+ h# F$ e8 ?You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
$ Z( L, R" ~( W9 r( v( E1. Open the viewer.) e, d# k; W k' J: R7 r
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 }" ~& G7 T2 O) w; {
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
