Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
4 z5 w* h, j3 V* l2 X; dIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 Y4 Z7 I9 c+ g1 F8 s
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* W/ K- G5 G% \& k
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 {$ {$ c& E' i; j8 _
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ q3 a( T! {8 }/ V' yYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
6 F. v# S% H. h# ~, D" H( J0 f0 ?1. Open the viewer.
/ x( M- Y. v# |8 H4 O2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
1 x: [+ M1 k6 u$ T4 X, _3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
0 Y2 H7 s0 G0 d* l5 t4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
