Setting Up Communication With a Viewer c$ _' M* I+ Q. \
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
, F9 ]3 s6 J- `% Othe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre4 t( P; ?% t8 J# K G" P
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
9 P5 o0 Q2 X7 F# h7 W- \By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. L$ \; `; V8 V7 e- R% s, [. o
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
; f7 O% L) Q" y" s9 t1. Open the viewer.
1 L# o q4 {. v" I1 U# L* P2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.! c* N+ T8 A; x0 x2 \. D, Q" Z
5. Click Connect.
