Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
F( l! X0 w) V& `$ ~If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
4 \5 e8 S* b4 Zthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre( {3 U( u- q! g' m" `
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
$ Q( S, N& f9 d3 A% `+ \8 ]By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) p4 j+ R; m- _You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ K; Q8 Y% s0 O0 t7 A% X* {
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…* c- G- Q. l$ i& @; l$ O& \
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
