If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ v u2 Y4 M( x
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
+ R2 V# Z* }, b! g: H* TInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.% Y' o) K/ V0 E* e* E
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
- h9 R; p- a2 {3 G/ K- q/ QYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% }+ T" s! Y7 U1. Open the viewer.
( ?! |4 ~9 W, ^1 y" D7 r; G. o2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& U: l7 g( t- G" }. ~3 d0 U9 t6 \3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
