Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
' `" @+ w0 g' N( v0 ^ i \If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& \% X* }9 V! i2 G( a. o% H
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: j+ G) A0 k" @' [$ Q. q5 s
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.$ e; G- h+ K, a C! n
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
7 V. x/ Y" C4 z9 B0 qYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
$ p& n; S4 w5 |0 y1. Open the viewer.+ M7 \9 s5 [6 C7 A3 U
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.- [% ]6 g" p: F. F# h, ^
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
