Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" r6 W. E, x# ^: N) OBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic./ |6 v5 U7 p; v- A/ g7 m* M
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:9 Y4 Y7 i1 h6 [* d
1. Open the viewer. H+ p1 o( E$ t. i
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.0 F. I8 Y7 F, }
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% D7 N8 ^: r1 {
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
