Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& \4 ~+ A5 A# e3 N% f+ |7 D% I
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.7 O& s! I/ q, L
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 s& ^4 t8 s$ C1 i
1. Open the viewer./ y- p+ ]0 O0 t$ o1 K
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.7 @7 c1 \6 @8 D3 R1 M8 X) j5 n6 y
5. Click Connect.
