Setting Up Communication With a Viewer/ |2 U* |' m! D
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
- s: F( c0 N2 {! C% Xthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
k; G% d& v1 G" vInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
% W* ~* V" x9 }2 o4 J! bBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 }0 j" J( `- a$ `
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
6 O4 O+ v( v, l% j$ h1. Open the viewer.
?7 Z, Z6 U: G% Q. D2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
3 P c! g) ?2 U5 C( \1 y6 A3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
