If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, Z% |3 Q" F0 X `5 Q3 D
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* Z8 K1 G* c& O; @+ L8 P
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.- v: ^. i; |7 i2 R4 L, o
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' _" t: D' {! k, t7 `1 h
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:: n+ h# W- d$ O) s
1. Open the viewer.* \! U9 C- Y R! \0 R: p
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 A) l* g" n K' ?7 y
