If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
! l. _& w; g" ?" m; Z9 ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
6 V8 T4 K. k4 U) C% J( y/ m2 h. XInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.7 S- b6 o3 m1 E* i; y3 e: H/ v4 t2 K
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
; g% s" _+ V- U! S# T. j% u' `You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% S1 F' c n Z. N1 i2 j: X1. Open the viewer.
\5 ~+ t4 Y9 _7 c2 C8 k2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.& P" y. x' i" Z% T y% ?0 H% f, m
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…7 ?- U) o. m$ X) t" k! h
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
