Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' q' q5 N0 \5 t, H1 W( R* @
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between# Y! e) H: F8 g
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! R7 x% \ }! B+ e y2 j
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# v) e8 ^& x; Z
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.; r1 y4 P c3 v( H Y- j
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.5 y1 X( @- J1 o. \' f! @$ ~1 T/ H
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 X, @* g" j4 @$ n5 J; z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.. |) |! b S% @' i

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
