Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
8 c5 p" q8 U4 ]" pIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
) q+ V, a9 H* v0 ] m8 B$ Othe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
* W- ]# [, I3 Y' n: iInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 c% a8 L( E8 r) ~By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! H! K! o2 o! d; X
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:# a! b3 F. }/ @, d- |. M
1. Open the viewer.9 I5 V$ B- D: j
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
, L7 q$ t8 H, B" u! g3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, k- s# a( h" ~
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
