Setting Up Communication With a Viewer# U2 z% V% v0 y
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
/ {/ S& z# `) X7 \& N4 u7 t9 n" uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 y$ {. W' X1 T) a2 z4 r. _Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 P" W- b, Z6 I0 m# o
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.2 X( H k: Z4 s. r, s& |
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
