Setting Up Communication With a Viewer8 Z( a( K) N g( d
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
" S' w3 g! t- h# W+ m' W) mthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 t) v" O9 q, S' H5 V0 NInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.3 Q" @, H1 I0 d0 N$ u
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.0 U& I8 z/ g9 B$ J& s# V
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
3 S0 V) J+ r- S* F3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
