Setting Up Communication With a Viewer4 E2 \- R+ ?1 o
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between D8 |4 b8 d# J% t5 t
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre1 ]7 i' R; H* ]$ P$ M' b* G( y
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 w: K! a* y# G) QBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.+ p4 d% W6 T* j2 A9 }/ L8 N- r
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
& q; p8 h# Y9 M0 S1. Open the viewer.6 S# o/ k* J) x. ~
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.9 G% t' c# b7 g0 ]
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
