Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ U2 c" E4 ? \0 n+ uIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" ~( C* h( ~; \; F9 r
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
; k0 b2 w1 m5 | ZInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 T* c" n! T9 r1 G
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! q: Z( C) U6 k1 B# M
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
8 Z& I' s! n) `1 }' ~1. Open the viewer.
2 j8 x; u& `' a# E2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 w5 c3 p+ |* U( q9 w/ M% g3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
