Setting Up Communication With a Viewer1 t- k, c& d! I- K: r: `5 N7 k
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& M% T; D* R5 H4 t" H
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
u# E/ b0 S* _* O& z9 DInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.1 N$ W5 [3 `/ H& M8 r6 F- d
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# x8 l1 M6 u% [! f5 t& yYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
( t, z' N7 | t4 W3 b# S1 m: ?1. Open the viewer.
% V1 s9 X" Z7 a0 n! p2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.: p+ M& l7 a& o1 |7 M
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% |: q+ k# f e
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
