Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 N1 |& o* y( J5 i5 b U0 V5 _. OIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 C& L4 _ `- F' {/ ^the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
9 H j9 T: N1 V1 Q) {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" |) Q; Q/ i) k- R% y1 D6 Y! LBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.8 N. W( _4 V+ n5 z5 ~& r' C) F
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
]- S3 W6 f0 D, U3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, s0 m0 E9 _7 r' d4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.) K0 b% p$ V) w5 U
5. Click Connect.
