Setting Up Communication With a Viewer& w8 x5 o* L" N* C; c' x2 o5 U& `7 `
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
/ C! X0 a7 N0 uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ a7 g! B2 W' Q! y2 M( x0 P# aInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" N5 k+ w& o8 v- O% y- D. b- x. j' f. S+ LBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
8 z4 \/ J+ g8 G$ M6 s5 QYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
7 A6 c8 x; g0 w; y/ V1. Open the viewer.
$ b7 h% U3 W0 d. N2 t7 A2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
