Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' I6 f8 | z6 W4 e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
: M$ f- N6 `8 u+ \the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ q1 R( b) o. D3 j' I
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
7 K9 u1 G6 a/ a5 a! f/ i6 k) \By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic., `3 N5 F5 b3 G" i; L. C
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' Q6 C% F3 l# M2 p5 p- i
1. Open the viewer.+ N- {$ N1 R% M: r6 V
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 l% H3 b; q. w, t2 K) ]+ ^; B0 Y3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
