Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
: @' H5 w8 o# y2 xIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between j9 h; J) y, Z4 w$ B* F
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre" D! J& `5 q3 j) [0 N* _- ]' E
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 X% S: Q2 O4 K" rBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

) n% [5 ` R e0 b$ V2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
