Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' {* x- ~( \9 B4 T0 a( U4 K4 |
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between5 @4 M, @7 O, S' ^6 u
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre1 e& F; M& F* E
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) b: k6 C! ^$ x. X: gBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
7 I5 G9 L1 J3 w# mYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ G" r1 P6 X5 Q6 z0 W% O1. Open the viewer.2 ]2 x' l) H& a( E% {8 F& r
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
1 C& g! u0 h" z# P8 K3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
# S! f) G0 h) Y7 u! ~+ X5 V% Z4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.* n( _+ l3 s y: o$ l
5. Click Connect.
