If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between7 M' Z- R0 K& S0 y: \
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 E K9 Q; r& |3 N
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 Z; R0 Y: R ] W
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.+ p5 h) X, E3 b" i- R" Y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
7 @- n* O. G* u& | y+ ?1. Open the viewer.
& n8 X9 S6 h, ]7 _- F# M2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& I1 F6 j& V* z( g3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
% `& v6 A4 a; k4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
/ b, E# j0 ?2 w/ Y* Y2 M$ Q5. Click Connect.
