Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 K0 P0 C! L5 i4 _) B' ]0 a0 r
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) K% W( z5 k2 _; {, rBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.8 R' \6 `5 O; O# }7 ]3 e
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
1 I2 T$ y8 g$ X: D3 W1. Open the viewer.
, I2 `1 A3 [* _3 B2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( a( n3 k6 O- z' F; \5 K2 ^+ |% }7 T3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
