Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) W; B- T9 }: w0 n/ h
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
" @$ ]+ w2 D6 b: vYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
3 }- O q6 \: u/ Q" @6 K5 W6 X1. Open the viewer.
( d$ A6 K+ n# `6 n& L8 x8 q2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
