Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 n6 Y4 k# F0 F+ B$ d6 Y$ mIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% P( x" v3 T3 Z- Y7 V
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% S9 f) R& k4 {( f9 R- g# PInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) Q- \$ y: ~9 F- ^1 h) w
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

: G) m7 t3 c; l! k% y2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 A) m J+ \5 W3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
