Setting Up Communication With a Viewer$ {5 g; }+ j& L! w7 u. G
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 h) s d m! e, L5 ?the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
" H/ _' U7 y, t3 q+ H% {Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 S* P1 P. T( K4 a0 ~6 j
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
. L1 S" i1 ~9 h, p1 v2 s7 d! `You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 S" [# |" O2 e; ]3 ?
1. Open the viewer. d# `6 N4 ^5 K8 J2 G+ ]. a7 a) u
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
