Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

8 ?/ \) O/ q/ H3 l. G: D5 jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 n. a Z2 M4 M+ i8 `Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.! R" E& F! p0 Z+ X
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
. Q4 E3 x3 j! i0 }, T' ?You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
; i; g' l2 C4 H# b- H/ a5 T8 P1. Open the viewer.
% O% t+ w0 N8 x' N3 q" E% f2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
, P& g! U" V; f/ \7 S) H: d* L6 n' ?3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
