Setting Up Communication With a Viewer. x& N7 `/ {+ B3 h) `: O2 Y' X$ B
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ V: `+ Z q- q; K4 U7 Q- C5 H
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, n7 ^: h9 V6 g/ D, U6 B5 AInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& P6 U0 \* i" S+ Y( Q! sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
( z0 h0 W. p3 Z) M# bYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ m, w$ m. N/ I& |' g1. Open the viewer.
- y; k, J: g, U2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& ?8 b; z+ j7 D( H1 d# o1 g8 G3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
