Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* a' z/ F/ [2 F$ m* T9 j
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
9 y2 U6 |& B' y. `" w& Sthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
/ K% v/ O i" e4 G# U5 f k" G: S* mInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; m, K8 ]( I! R0 Y: Z) U+ m1 O! p
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 T* r# z: d" T* R
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ U+ i4 s R1 O" X8 h
1. Open the viewer.% ]/ E2 x3 y: v" F* s
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ E6 E+ @6 b& M: c+ m
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…8 N) x& u$ ?1 G% U
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.0 B& T# B7 C* P. p
5. Click Connect.* h/ t" @! n/ _& g8 n
