If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
8 D0 b' F- x( u& bthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ C( k( t1 ^4 Q$ K: {. w5 i9 } j+ O
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# q0 Z. f- U( z1 H9 i- s
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 [( {# \ o2 M- D0 H. P( a9 m
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:6 s5 f3 B0 i2 N5 U( Q4 T, Y3 |# ~
1. Open the viewer.: w4 d' z5 S" r8 F8 \) H
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' Q' c6 } A# F5 P- q
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
