Setting Up Communication With a Viewer/ f( P+ L: R+ Q- ?! T' ?
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 t, q9 P+ U- ^4 Qthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
" u5 [: F5 z, R( UInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
) j+ A' d+ q) j! LBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ N9 Y, y* u, y; h0 o# D
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 l0 { v5 T4 c- p: G, c5 t1. Open the viewer.! b7 V4 z5 O. L2 S8 c+ c( V
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 N& Z. Q0 s- x1 h
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…" N5 S8 s& f& n
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
