Setting Up Communication With a Viewer2 O P j1 P/ T1 L' z8 q1 I
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
& T) A }7 P7 s% E- g1 X$ N" N# fthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
+ Z; D/ n) l: @" G. _1 YInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.; ^7 J# j+ H9 k
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.6 ?6 @( S+ }# t: r9 h! D
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

- n, U8 S+ `8 u2 ]! F2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
9 q' V$ d) @, G( k( Z- @3 g3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
