Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
! ^( j$ z6 D: I( k/ `7 K) v4 IIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% `% v1 O1 ?6 [& m! G# D; U
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 k* C6 U$ b4 F# P8 sInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; |+ o9 m: Q9 d! c6 s1 g2 F0 BBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer. v; R, F6 |7 C& V4 \% E# D( T3 {/ s& p& E
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
/ A5 n& t/ v5 y3 H! u3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
