If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between3 V9 \% j4 n5 k8 p) q1 C
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre6 j y- y5 S/ Y" |
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets., R0 F1 W9 s- V4 q. w
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.% O) m1 ]; |3 N9 S* k
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:, M2 V. {. j$ t+ M# f( n/ g
1. Open the viewer.( Z' r. r0 _: p+ Y7 s5 @
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.% } J$ k: W1 v( s$ c) ]
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
+ j4 ]4 Q+ O s* I* [. o/ d' @4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.( n+ m7 K3 t/ O9 A: g7 R% `
5. Click Connect.
