Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; E, D* E& |4 x, e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
8 t2 z3 A9 S3 w+ ~the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre) M+ Z# t8 {$ r* X) l" W# N) C( j
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
$ u) m( U, v( ^# ]6 qBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
3 g, M. N y$ Q/ D5 E3 Y/ t& Z( uYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:' m6 L% O$ E2 ~; n8 v* P0 q
1. Open the viewer.
/ a8 r }0 o: x1 [/ ^* E2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( D4 w1 l: y/ m$ t3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, l" h6 F+ O" S% V2 l% E
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 _4 ?, b; D/ d4 f
5. Click Connect.
