Setting Up Communication With a Viewer) S( ~ @! Z$ B. y# W: U- E
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between5 G2 S1 a# g* G) a" ^
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' B8 E: l- r% N6 x* G+ C1 vInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
& T3 s: _) e0 N+ S( w6 l3 k. ZBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.0 c$ q# n" `' M% `
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ c: ^/ U% ]6 D1. Open the viewer.
& e- Y2 c9 e4 S, @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" e4 L' L: N9 P# ? _# N0 s3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
