Setting Up Communication With a Viewer2 C2 p) n4 X& s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between; Q2 j- H S" E. O
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
# i) }! e" V! K# s/ iInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 c" }7 `- d. E8 h* o' C
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
; _3 v! Y2 B" _" r+ c W7 ~You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
) j' s4 r6 q; Y- I1. Open the viewer.
% a4 ]$ U5 Z- c+ W. T n- g2 M: s# V& O2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 F% T) e2 f' ^! X4 N- c# O3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
* P& q9 e- @4 I' U+ o2 p4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
