Setting Up Communication With a Viewer |5 b- V3 R, m! v7 Y
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" K8 q% t; [( L+ g! @5 i
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# m/ h+ d& I& O( e
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. z, X* J7 a* JBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.4 _* h9 h" a, m2 w- T
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
% P. v& H3 ?% d* T. [) `' A1. Open the viewer.
: w% n) Z8 g7 \; k) Z+ U2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.' _7 O1 v7 C! B& L! W( \& a) L3 p7 F
5. Click Connect.
