If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% R5 G: c X% U; j
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre8 L# W) C; q1 U. b0 T' t: `
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
9 d; d, H& g3 b7 qBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
4 _1 p; Q1 X2 E- s" WYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:* R- G0 B5 m# m
1. Open the viewer.3 h" e* s" n, x1 R1 D W$ z M
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 @3 S) X$ [' e/ f3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…$ p3 l% ^7 a9 t3 X6 ]
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
