Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% D R7 H; k$ m; ^5 u9 p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between8 p- `+ J' ?3 L5 h
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 H5 v3 ?' R; \% v2 T* W$ o) A
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets., T# v1 I/ I4 |( ?: Y: \
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& W5 d3 k. I: m4 L3 c2 e
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) [) p8 N+ Y# B7 J* s
1. Open the viewer.
1 v4 G: \4 V4 T L2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. A% i4 b4 W; x0 W
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
8 @) f& P/ @' a. o/ M; d: A4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
