Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
# U U0 z" z( k. l, q% `! `0 xIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
1 r% n" x/ e( d* R: V J8 U! rthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
$ R% l! k( l0 u! W2 P1 jInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 ^+ N' z9 {7 G `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
8 S$ x) \' h& rYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:0 k G* U* ]3 @& o6 u
1. Open the viewer.
2 @: S$ j8 p( n+ d2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.. B3 T) M Y! w3 x! P" n
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
