If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ t, a! A( E0 e6 b
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
. @9 z! z( W. G& QInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 n5 a. C9 P& |* D& NBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
9 V5 `, @5 h9 K! e8 Z t2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.; H. M% h- n# |- T- u) o/ T8 i
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
