Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
) M# E4 Z, }$ H& x1 CIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ a% U5 \ I' R u. ^
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre+ C; N! f+ J1 Q% ^4 S- u* ]
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 C- O, W" h% ~By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 {$ v( a0 A% E. A" x7 y- i1 v, ]
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
. y# C u+ e1 y+ P4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
