If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% ?, r3 a. C& Q# p, k! jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 J' h( w% n5 ^+ m( \
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.2 i; t/ i- r4 s+ P
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.; i0 {0 y" w9 x7 e& p" Z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:1 k2 y7 N I% U5 x$ |! C# b+ L
1. Open the viewer.! u ]; F; v9 _/ Y1 j
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened./ m0 R$ ^* a; j9 m* }1 ~- e
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! |; B0 G) m$ |5 \1 h
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
