Setting Up Communication With a Viewer' ?9 r; @3 F+ f* R A2 [
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 z6 i2 L. i* [: C- Z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre* t, ~% R" X) p' g+ D
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
, J% i; y M9 T. s4 `8 Z N5 ~By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened." T1 E) f3 a* E6 [$ K
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…+ H% @7 t y! f) ~" N
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.5 l' {/ i# s7 X& l$ X+ r
5. Click Connect.
