Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets. t/ w0 ^. w* H* R1 ^
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.: v1 D( o# Y! H7 T: h
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:) \ l; B( A) v. F
1. Open the viewer. 2 |! h1 `) A6 @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened. - v/ N3 \* v; J0 M3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…2 D0 j+ o2 C1 L
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.) Q/ @* i- P; h+ n
