If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
" h" ^* d" y! Z+ W$ ~the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre: q m* S* \6 e4 b2 c* H; t @
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
* l6 U0 H' s" I5 A, {4 k) t% e) DBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& V: B. k, h% c" U" c% k5 |, t5 D
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
5 W3 ^8 C4 T% g3 ~1 O1. Open the viewer.% \' O) h& W5 L/ w) r. L% _0 h1 Z
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
2 G) c N, T9 Y/ s: q3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… z/ r& h1 X2 Y- g T) s9 f
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
