Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
. T1 y7 F" `# I: l! Q7 z' PIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between* O) r' Z8 A, a; _6 z
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre% B0 r$ h7 D: x9 Y& x
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; v( J1 z4 w) w4 _3 O1 KBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
+ z. S# k% Z* _, D" q9 sYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:! N {% s/ g7 } l
1. Open the viewer.
* R$ a+ Q8 Y! F. O2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 b: M1 K5 c+ ]+ ]7 t
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…9 P3 ^0 f, `4 T) h7 y0 G# t% P
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
