Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 r1 `, i9 A1 ^5 D( e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& d# H0 e+ o* W9 e6 M
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
o& l" J2 o* p( P( d8 n, e8 H8 uInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.& F. N7 j8 e \; D
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
$ f" E. c# k) c7 P* y% M) Z! DYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
/ C! i( q! b q# V% T7 l3 @1. Open the viewer.
" y# t4 I/ F$ W- ?2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened." C7 f* c. w. [; Z# H
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…/ @7 @1 h+ v5 ^* s
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
