Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
- ~5 p y$ I! qIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% v/ _) i" `; c# h
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre0 }+ W7 Y: G; y, ?/ V" g
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.$ H, M! z5 N' F$ X
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.# f @' y6 o9 Q. R2 A( f
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ T# }; M# F; u$ m
1. Open the viewer.
; J$ E1 O( l. {' x. e2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
. o6 U4 B; F( e% C+ H3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
% h1 v9 r! j, b- U& D) \4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
