Setting Up Communication With a Viewer

v! E6 r4 C, S* Ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 U" P1 Y& E" |% C- V2 p1 eInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 W4 V1 N; c# {3 v$ I/ {; e6 u, T
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic./ ? G* p+ T5 O$ {: ~1 L
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
/ w3 M- o4 M/ t% i# P V- j1. Open the viewer.
. d0 e& o4 _6 Y& u+ v! c2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened. G5 o9 P8 L8 K
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…% B3 @6 T$ s5 L3 m
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
