Setting Up Communication With a Viewer, c# E; L9 e# y7 Q8 g& O, m7 Y
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
" U" K8 v% F% Jthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
& ^6 A( E$ l: W! s; u: I/ w' d' fInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" g; t0 s5 c) i' g0 n8 c' S- vBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.7 V! g: @' m3 r$ L! x9 e
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
) I' s' P: z, n) J, c9 m \. R1. Open the viewer.
( ?: f* ]1 x- W2 d/ x j2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 R5 m& Y9 `$ M! d) N3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 x E5 C( B @9 O# d
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
