Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 r* H# ~4 S0 k6 w% d6 v
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
! R( h' c4 W. E. `3 B% O( S$ E/ Dthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' e, M5 ?/ M9 ?7 Z+ C9 f2 MInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 n( k% v/ z: |" ~7 e4 a, DBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.$ y$ Q1 D3 ]* ?6 J7 `9 D- l
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
8 \ b( H5 ]% s1. Open the viewer.6 V* L5 [) @- \
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.% @" Q8 \) }3 r/ p/ i* E! K
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…2 O- R3 Y I& O& T% I) ` B
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
