Setting Up Communication With a Viewer3 y. m( X) y8 A. R% p
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
( N/ X9 k& W7 W; M+ Cthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre7 y, J U$ d1 D9 I' ~! |* Z
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
3 N# S- V; {! j+ G2 R! E4 `" pBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
7 l5 s7 }( ^7 K. X7 f" S9 s2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
: }! @7 [$ _4 `0 Y/ G" C3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, `. T5 m' O' I4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
