If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between5 |. Z6 C' [( W9 ?
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre- H4 W; Y- K3 R, y3 V- x. W0 J
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.* e4 b2 y" E. [$ y% C; ]7 n
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.: m _) r. [ W
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
+ i: y/ h) A# T, ^+ b/ c2 @1. Open the viewer., U: q) T! R7 C( P) g
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
& z1 s3 d6 Z9 [3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! j& Q4 y% R1 q6 B+ Z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.2 o6 r$ Y* {# T5 f+ j) A
