Setting Up Communication With a Viewer: _; M$ Z7 y! H9 i- H: r
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
: W$ y2 g ~4 }$ o% l9 ~the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre) E1 x, W/ [: w0 t% G) ~( _' M
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
$ x. x- _3 N& O4 i5 ?% p! K- P5 {By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.. X$ M z" e3 d9 |! V
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:$ F. L w0 G4 c
1. Open the viewer.5 @# F/ L0 `3 z" m8 A7 }3 o+ J, J
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened. u, u/ }( ^& J A. D2 w4 }" G
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…: @0 D( b, n- a% `. B
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
