Setting Up Communication With a Viewer; v V4 q( v0 H- Z5 s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between/ R4 d/ f+ l! e4 u% @
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre X3 e( m* l( y' W" _
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.0 {! a0 ?) t6 ]; u2 K2 M% F6 m
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 u g% H$ ?: \3 J8 B
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:0 C# ]% B% {$ t: H5 ~; j9 C
1. Open the viewer.
/ V, r; ~, W5 P5 N" K2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
" w& D. @0 ?% j F3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… t* t. |! C. r; X
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer. T6 e, `$ B" U% J! M- k
5. Click Connect.
