Setting Up Communication With a Viewer9 z0 N6 g2 t' \; k9 u- N, Z) g
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
6 y$ k9 Z. H0 e# u7 J3 Athe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
5 i% ^- b; g7 r$ q0 \Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
0 Y [. f; ?4 r8 w' j$ VBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
% i- b6 F# y. _9 eYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; d2 ?& C+ h7 {8 U3 q# m+ Q
1. Open the viewer.
: g' W) ]9 \6 k( ~6 r3 I+ l7 H# v$ y2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( w6 Z6 H- u' N% C4 ?& V3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…1 h, F/ [; w- P( \: `& `
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.7 V) f% M5 ?5 v/ j, m* x& j( W
5. Click Connect.
