Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
1 H( Q3 p9 o; R5 Z. y3 H( @8 eIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& N) ]2 J2 H" t* X9 I' e, I
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 h9 J/ ~5 l" i3 H8 [$ p! ~
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 H% c: H1 X- k- c, WBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.* i1 D" \8 t# X2 p. u: I
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 {8 R+ @3 `, A8 E; @
1. Open the viewer.8 s) h8 s( \4 W% [
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
( P) r: J8 G4 D+ A3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
