Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
0 J5 B, j' H% U. SIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between& y6 U1 R1 j" d! d
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
7 d# _ j0 }0 ^. I2 u$ M. u( HInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
, \- a& }* x, T) sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.8 U4 F+ N4 l+ z2 D$ U! k; ?9 Q# ]3 \
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
0 @3 O2 l2 Z& x5 n* Y# y6 }2 V1. Open the viewer.
3 M* ]- A% Y8 W' }! s& d8 e) a2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
7 O& F" T* h }" V+ M3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
4 R: g1 \$ \ I+ d6 ^" W0 _9 E, B- k6 z4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
