Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
( |, w4 o( l/ A3 q' l9 zIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
2 n1 x- Y' F- N6 x5 k5 Wthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
! r2 r! \3 y0 g2 X1 G! [1 NInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 a8 B) ^7 y2 sBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
# `' i: ^' g+ {( XYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
4 r3 W9 Q+ F3 f# @( `0 {1. Open the viewer.
2 C# U) P; c5 b' j' v; x: X2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
