If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between. @; I% g/ t, [4 q
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre' g9 J6 | R1 x, ^8 k
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 k5 A. t6 c# }, x. c3 ^By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic." R1 W% p, s6 f
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& S/ [0 S6 ^! |5 a- j/ s# l& f
1. Open the viewer.
! f( ~ R) u6 b7 K0 v9 I2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.( s( k; t4 S ]: \& D
5. Click Connect.
