Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
9 C/ H* B& h8 U4 l! |1 d: i1 rIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" w& |# l4 U& Y+ {+ L
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre) C- I9 j: v# j3 t8 G
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 M- }- Q# ~/ e8 N4 U. ^' o5 h8 G, `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
* p1 m% }; ?% _" S+ @You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened., R: r, ]' i H* ~9 F
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…, A) [+ S, D8 m
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ C1 s! a+ ~( v0 H& ?2 H
5. Click Connect.: p7 p% s' a+ a% P2 Y0 A- H
6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
