Setting Up Communication With a Viewer* I H- i1 _5 s( ]
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between, C& t F/ o0 K7 I5 s. E% {: A' ^
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
7 m% E& c4 C( E& [9 XInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
. L6 } s9 {7 t6 q1 _: A$ s2 LBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
6 P0 _0 ?4 t" }0 }% b6 A: NYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:4 s1 m1 q+ d' E2 M
1. Open the viewer.! F3 W1 x' J- g
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
8 `7 n: @' y3 U. x3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
