Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
+ v- I3 m1 y1 @$ wIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between% s& A, j: ]$ B- R2 ?, g2 F+ x/ b
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
/ T9 |" n' g' H/ e) fInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.+ r3 j3 W5 p5 J4 ^. c& b. ]2 D7 _
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.0 l5 }% M. s% p2 b
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:

5 \9 t% F8 m% I% r2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.( ~9 ?6 l& v {$ x- s1 }6 z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…$ b+ ^9 F/ Y- Z% L
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.0 b `+ A( Q; O" d5 d
