Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ m! i. u0 d+ @0 f; I4 z0 zIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between5 p! ]% _* `% _2 y1 z( l' G% O4 |2 g
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
; r8 z) h$ F y1 m* r. PInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
+ a# n0 ?) n8 Y8 `6 b, oBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.) a4 t' [9 O1 m* i
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:( o8 H- H/ p5 t( e% g$ M5 a% y
1. Open the viewer.
, b ]! ?" q5 t" \0 K6 r7 t* }6 Y$ @2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.2 ~. |, D& h: _# H
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
