Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
, U3 W( X+ C# NIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
3 x/ o! p% P! j8 |. O4 }the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre+ l5 ~) r, S z+ Y9 P
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
8 u8 ^- h; J, c2 SBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
% \/ x7 T2 Z5 y q' n3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
