Setting Up Communication With a Viewer6 l" y# t& X% N3 T9 _7 {
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
7 A9 r. u" V, E1 T* d4 u3 x8 |% dthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
% n* r6 N& m& }/ X# n& BInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
' v A* V% e0 j& s. L4 IBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic. P- |( p( v/ `( G! ]
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:8 Q* w4 F2 ~0 ~! J
1. Open the viewer.( u. \( K- o% U( G) p! Y
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.4 \, i+ m, E3 _8 b
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
, J5 x. U. n, o+ v4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
