Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% }+ e+ P( Q* g0 J2 [+ P( d6 J9 n
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
8 u9 Y, q/ W+ x) _the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre/ D9 |: e: U L
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
4 {9 x$ O9 h( p5 N! aBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 D8 P; W- R9 f, K3 N4 H
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:2 B7 T5 ^- \' k/ @7 _2 D" Q
1. Open the viewer.3 u& b, }8 L0 O6 t
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
* ]& S. D+ F* U; t, D) ^* G% w' \3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
