Setting Up Communication With a Viewer2 k* t& P ]; t1 z! w
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between: W" N/ q' T/ G* u5 M# J6 h/ Q2 D( x
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! h0 n' ~2 i5 [* J
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; ]4 F# C, u4 U8 \! JBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.5 \0 F. u0 z; b. a
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:4 D& \, _" t+ U% @* {9 `2 n `8 r
1. Open the viewer., @% A% Y" M' l3 e' E' h
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
' h8 u: t4 h9 x1 C8 M3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
