If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ Z5 P' k' S8 s$ f
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre# D) R' U. ]8 |% n, q( k8 G
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
- k) \, K" W/ b% y& K' O9 u( lBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
& r+ K, T% V/ O, k# oYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
) f; V2 R. w H- a3 l1. Open the viewer.
# y/ D( T" l, M9 m/ h, e; p2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.) O; x) J1 \" X5 F0 K/ g0 s6 z' Z
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…. G" r: S( C3 C% x5 K9 u
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.. b3 P( S7 O" \$ h, P+ j
5. Click Connect.
