Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
" ?' X- ?! O; p4 rIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
- T( f; [& | t6 Y1 f" Y# ethe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
0 p9 @. H% ~7 e! N8 v0 ~* z2 CInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.5 v) s# q# `# t3 b% h
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…# i) H6 d. Q1 V4 f; y" J6 v: g- Z
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.1 i+ i8 v/ F$ M
