Setting Up Communication With a Viewer# _ B8 v! m0 B$ {/ q) b0 F
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between1 Z+ f; @7 E/ h* }! C4 `8 ?1 a# F
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
2 s5 @& l6 e ^/ `8 C9 yInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.- q3 v0 g) h t
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.0 f: O, a" U5 P8 Z* e- [
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
; ^( r/ [! t: c9 T! s: n1. Open the viewer.# y, a2 J! X6 L# d& _0 P
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
: U9 W; F' Z$ O& N3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…( g2 o9 M9 u2 a1 w# O
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
