If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between- z& j# b% d, Y7 r' |. M% E
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
3 Z! v& f4 b! r$ D/ J+ ?" Z& TInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
: K$ ~( e7 L# P1 JBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
" c) V3 Q% p5 ~& Q! s7 PYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
: X5 m0 i/ A# U4 U+ T1. Open the viewer.# j5 l& m$ Q% K0 b( X2 f- ~ T
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.$ u. P/ X4 A, d# j- j- F
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
9 Q! j- l* B& E$ d- e$ k4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.

6. Click OK. The figure shows setup of a layout viewer. |
