Setting Up Communication With a Viewer( D" ?+ @& \4 G: }* q5 n( w4 f
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
4 _: `5 _ z1 qthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 d0 I s) B6 b
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.# l. b: N" Q/ L# S" k. d
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
, ]9 e- L/ L5 F, f( X& d# mYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:; b0 k( D: ^5 _1 Z4 N6 T1 R
1. Open the viewer.# T9 t1 F% j7 H
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
4 y; m5 C4 V0 N7 n3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
