Setting Up Communication With a Viewer0 i3 I! A7 Y" L7 }2 ? J# L& T
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
% j( h# e2 A7 J% K9 Q" f; H* k5 N6 Ithe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre! {5 Z9 o3 B# N0 }/ K
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.8 h8 D4 j' a/ Q, m
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.9 H) h! T- H" G- r3 v: H
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.3 x' V7 H$ M/ e0 S+ t" U
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…

5. Click Connect.
