Setting Up Communication With a Viewer% z8 e3 Z% o: o C; v% B
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
/ @/ R, n P# B. b( v3 l! bthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre5 r/ p* k, [3 u" H9 J
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
" c5 A' h7 K, p8 c1 jBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.' f9 Y3 q; [" G
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:/ t7 M( ]& o7 q/ F v
1. Open the viewer.( @" ]8 A5 J! t7 d
2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.. \9 o- f+ W6 W
5. Click Connect.
