Setting Up Communication With a Viewer- D. o! V$ `8 [2 v$ I# ?+ W
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between9 G# W9 s" `9 z6 J; ~
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
, x' }, d( a8 ~7 lInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 d2 D$ r9 [9 J2 `By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.' G# Z/ y: O( C' H6 F5 E
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer… s8 I {/ |6 T
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.& t- b K/ r8 [, b
5. Click Connect.
