Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
! Q' C6 p1 b; \; c# DIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between0 \" V) k; n4 d. T6 o- z" f
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
" m+ C, Y6 y# s/ L8 _Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets./ J) f4 c `) i- N, \- g
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

; u# H0 C& X: _4 \2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ Q% I8 G6 r4 v# u; r0 T
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
7 b, @' f) \8 p2 M3 Y4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
