Setting Up Communication With a Viewer, G( r @9 O0 W2 e
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
4 [4 [8 [- u* A2 h N+ tthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre9 ?0 o; W% L+ c& R5 k1 {3 @
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
; }6 e8 y0 k- `8 }, TBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.! h/ a8 W! K: Q/ P: q
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:" _; I! `2 i* f/ F8 K
1. Open the viewer.
p, p; [, ]5 o4 D$ p2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.4 E* B2 Y3 y1 i, d' E0 k8 y
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…3 _+ V- c3 ^! a" r9 n
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer. t3 s5 @ P( Z8 q9 X
