Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
$ O8 V/ T2 a6 H9 @& ^3 i4 iIf you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
' _' o6 P$ ~, }6 W+ L& V: uthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
' s& l+ T, V6 ?Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
( f% l# _, m1 F( I( }By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.& E) ]( q8 o y
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
1 ]2 [& u! ~7 A1. Open the viewer.
) b; S* `3 y% P: `, }7 C6 R2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.8 c' Q$ j# v% a8 U
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…! Z: w! a' l8 w. T0 {
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
