Setting Up Communication With a Viewer U m% D$ c+ `; ?8 E
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
" o4 t; S) k' w5 A; Qthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre$ w8 j- r0 z0 @2 g$ }+ K9 s7 e, h7 r
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
5 s# {6 k" A- S' p. |' `* BBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.8 o' D$ h' \2 p6 i" v/ r3 Z
You can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
9 V9 K9 [7 N# h+ D, U% G1. Open the viewer.
: u& G! m* D: `( }, y2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.
' E( W; _# R+ F( q, u3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
; h& X4 J, V/ f6 m4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.+ k# r1 P7 w) x1 _! e9 L
5. Click Connect.
