Setting Up Communication With a Viewer
- h6 I: j, \; |If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
+ K. w+ B$ L' g& L& [* F1 gthe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre3 Q+ ~! t( j' A" U1 r. F' ?& Z
Interactive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
6 z+ r! `9 p) \By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.

1. Open the viewer.
$ w, X" k1 n/ |2 Z2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.

4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer." Q" X H$ H+ O7 v
