Setting Up Communication With a Viewer0 g% \) v: ?* a% \& s
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between
* `9 Q" l- ^, R2 Q! C7 Ithe two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
5 b# t3 Y! R% y4 ]% n! W: h/ w6 yInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.
# O/ F, Q3 Y1 G D1 i/ d& TBy default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
- A( \1 _ }4 v+ Y# DYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:& Z8 T) ~1 { @+ s" O
1. Open the viewer.
1 \$ { Q0 K8 h" R7 r# }* Y1 S2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ P% B+ f c: B
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…
$ k6 V, j* C- s4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
